I was at my office reading some e-mail I'm trying my best to get along with jisoo sometimes we go out on date
But often we end up getting awkward maybe i should take it easy coz i feel like I'm forcing myself to like her or love her
My phone suddenly ring up and it's from jisoo i smile and take the call
"Hello wifey" I jokingly greeted her i heard a low chuckle that makes me feel happy, at least I can make her smile without any effort
"I was wondering if you're free later" She mumbles i check the time and its it's pretty early and i don't have any work
"No! Why?" I inquire
"Umm! Can we go out for dinner coz mom and jendukie will be having a dinner with lisa" She hesitantly said
If she wants then it's okay with me and to be honest, having a dinner date with your future wife is not a bad idea right?
"I'll pick you up at six be ready" I conceded
"Okay! Thanks"
"Mention not wifey" I said and we both laugh and hang up the call

Time skipped
Lisa dressed in bottom-up white shirt and Navy blue pant, she check herself in front of mirror for the nth time
"I'm nervous but... Aish take a deep breath Lisa everything Will be fine" She said to herself and fixed her sleeves button

Meeting Jennie mom is a nerve-racking moment she may be expecting many things from me
I breathe out one last time and came out of my apartment and headed towards the elevator i press the ground floor and rubbed my hand
The door open and i walk through the parking lot, my car beep as i press my key, i went inside and took a deep breath before i revved the engine and maneuvered the car out of my apartment complex
The thought of Jennie mom going to scrutinized and making assumptions about me the minute i walk through the door is causing me to break a sweat on my forehead
To make her a little impressed i bought a bouquet on the way and couple of minutes after i reach Jennie House
I breathe out and hop out of the car as i move towards the door, i composed myself and put up a genuine smile to see Jennie mom that I'm not nervous then i press the doorbell and waited patiently to open it after a few seconds the door open and revealed my beautiful girlfriend
"Hi!" I said and lean towards her to kiss but she darted her head, i frowned and lean again but i heard a fake cough and jennie open the door more widely so i restrain myself and averted my attention in the direction of the cough, there i saw her mom in the wheelchair i smile at an instant and presented her the flowers that i bought
"Good evening Mrs.Kim, here a beautiful flower for you" I handed and bowed as she gladly take it
"Oh! It's so beautiful! Thank you please come inside" Mrs.Kim said and the maid push the wheelchair toward the living room i glance at Jennie she's smiling ear to ear i look for Mrs.Kim she's not looking at us so i take the chance and peck on Jennie's lips she gasped and swat on my chest causing me to smile
"You look so smart" Jennie complimented, i take a glimpse at her and dig my hand on my pocket
"You look more beautiful today i love you love!" I exclaimed, she shyly tug her hair behind her ear and smile at me
"Thank you love" She replied as we proceed towards the living room
"Please take your seat lisa" Mrs.Kim said i bowed at her and take my seat and Jennie sit next to me
"Thank you Mrs.Kim for inviting me to join you at the dinner" I said and smile at Mrs.Kim
"Oh! It's my pleasure lisa! So how do you feel about Jennie? I heard that Jennie didn't like you before" Mrs.Kim started Jennie flick her eyes to her mom
"Yeah! She hates me like anything but god really has a plan for me Mrs.Kim so here I'm in front of you" Mrs.Kim giggle while Jennie whine
"I've got a question for you lisa?" Mrs.Kim seriously shifted the topic, so i prepared myself, Jennie hold my hand and smile at me, i smile back at her before i focus on Mrs.Kim
"Do you really love Jennie or you're doing this out of vengeance?" I was caught off guard but i composed myself whereas Jennie widen her eyes and stare at her mom
"Mom" Jennie try to protest but i cut her off by holding her hand and squeeze it lightly to assure Jennie that it's alright
"It's alright lo-..! Jen," I said and glance towards Mrs.Kim i was about to say love but i think its not appropriate to use in front of her mother
"Mrs.Kim i love Jennie with all my heart she rejected me thousand times before but i never stop persuading her" I pursued my lips and take a glimpse of Jennie she smile at me lovingly so i continue facing Mrs.Kim
"When i saw her in hospital i thought of asking her out for one last time but little did i know that she was already engaged i didn't hold any grudge on what she did in the past i love her so much Mrs.Kim please don't doubt my love for Jennie I'll show it to you by my action" I truthfully told Mrs.Kim and looked at Jennie and she was already in tears but she's still managed to smile at me

I don't doubt Lisa's love i know she do love me and the feeling is mutual but when i reminisces the past i can't control myself but to cry
How can i even hurt this sweet creation of god I regret everything i did in past that cannot be changed but i won't repeat it I'll make it up to lisa by hovering her with lots of love and care
Lisa stare at me and i stare back those eyes never lie, every time i look at those brown eyes i feel safe and love
"Ahem!" Mom cleared her throat when me and lisa were staring at each other so darted my eyes and so did lisa
"I trust you lisa" Mom proclaim as glance at me and added "and Jennie sweetie hope you love her with all your heart might coz love never comes twice"
"I'll never let you down Mrs.Kim" Lisa indulge and stare at me with a charming smile and i know you'll never hurt me
"Dinner is ready ma'am" The maid interrupt we all bob our head and headed toward the dining table
Jisoo unnie is with chaeng, she told me that she will have dinner date with her fiance i appreciate it because i didn't saw any chemistry between them maybe they could get along if they spend some alone time

Chaengyoung fetch jisoo from her office and went directly to the restaurant when they reach chaeng open the door for jisoo while holding jisoo hand for support
Jisoo actually like the sweet gesture of chaeng but she also remembers when chaeng told her that she's not ready for the wedding
They enter the restaurant hand in hand after they take their seat the waiter came and take their orders
"Jisoo actually I'm sorry for-" Before chaeng could finished her sentence jisoo interrupted holding chaeng hand and shook her head
"Chaeng lets not bring up the past we should focus more on our future" Jisoo interject with a sweet smile, however chaeng smirk at the word 'our future'
"So should i focus on our future huh!" Chaeng teased jisoo wiggling her brows while grinning jisoo suddenly blushed and pulled off her hand and chaeng started to chuckle
"Yah! Stop teasing me chaeng" Jisoo said looking down
"No! Wifey from now on I'll love you and treat you right" Chaeng came up with an idea to teased jisoo more
"So wifey i was wondering if we should have a daughter or son in future" she nonchalantly said causing jisoo to gasped while covering her mouth she's embarrassed coz chaeng said it loud enough to heard by the people around them
"Yahh! Chaeng please stop people are looking at us" Jisoo muttered and swat on chaeyoung hand
Chaeng look around and stand up earning the attention of the people inside the restaurant
"So everyone this is my beautiful wifey we're ahmf ahmfff" Chaeng didn't finished her sentence when jisoo cover her mouth and everyone started to clap their hand and start wishing them
"You two look perfect for each other"
"All the best treat her right she's so beautiful"
"Congratulations give birth to a handsome son like you" Someone said pointing towards chaeng
Jisoo got more embarrassed and sit down immediately chaeng bowed to everyone and take her seat as well
"Wifey don't be all shy shy we're getting married soon and having a baby is sooooo apparent right?" Chaeng said and their food came right at the moment
Jisoo tilt her head and smile at chaeng jisoo heartbeat drastically thinking about her future with chaeng and having their own baby
"Let's eat you much be hungry because you waste all your energy on getting blushy2" Chaeng tease and they both eat their dinner Happily

I'm so happy right now i can't explain how happy i am rn we're in the middle of the dinner Jennie told me that jisoo is with her fiance
Mrs.Kim is a good mother she's not that old but her sickness made her look old I've already meet Jennie mom so i make sure that Jennie will meet my mom too
"Lisa! here have some more gamjatang" Mrs.Kim offer but i shook my head and before i could even protest Mrs.kim served it and my phone ring up at the same time, i took out my phone and check the caller id but it said unknown
I glanced at Mrs.kim and darted to Jennie
"Umm! please excuse me Mrs.kim may i take this call it could be an emergency" I hesitantly said Mrs.kim nodded but Jennie didn't utter a word i stood up and moved a few meters away from The dining area and attend the call
"Hello!" I greeted and heard a sobbing sound from other side
"Lisa it's me chou mery tzuyu mother" She introduced i got surprised and tensed up thinking that something might happen to tzuyu
"Yes! Mrs.chou how may i help you? Is everything alright?" I asked her worriedly
"Could you please come at the hospital tzuyu is having a problem in breathing" She cried even more and i heard some machine sounds and people chattering
"Shhhh! It's okay Mrs.chou I'll be there soon don't worry I'm on my way" I said and hang up as i walk back to the dining area
I scratched my nape because i don't know how to began, if Mrs.kim will understand or will i offend her on our first meeting but i need to go it's my duty to save life being a doctor I'll respect my profession
"Mrs.Kim I'm really sorry to interrupt but i need to go to hospital rights now an emergency came up" I said politely and glanced at Jennie her face was fill with sadness, i know she's not happy with what i just said but I'm a doctor and i can't escape from my duty
"Why? Are you the only doctor in that hospital" Jennie mumbles which sounds somewhat pissed and annoyed i can understand i sighed and sit next to her
"Jennie I'm really sorry but I'm a doctor sometimes things like this happen i even wake up in the middle of the night to perform emergency surgery please understand me" I plead this the second time im ditching our dinner and i can feel what she's feeling
"It's okay lisa you may go it is your duty to save lives i understand and respect you more for taking your profession seriously" Mrs.Kim chimes in i take a glimpse at her and to Jennie who's frowning her brows
"Thank you Mrs.kim for your understanding" I said and hold Jennie's hand i don't know how to alleviate her irritation but i need to go
"Jennie don't be mad at me okay I've to go now" I said and stood up looking at Mrs.kim
"i may take my leave Mrs.kim thank you so much for having me tonight hope we'll meet again" I bowed at her and walk towards the door Jennie follows me when i was about to open the door she gripped on my arms
"Love!" She called me so turned to look at her she's on the verge of crying i feel so bad seeing Jennie like this but i don't have choice
"Love please don't cry I'm so sorry I've to go I'll make it up to you soon please don't be mad at me okay" I softly cooed and hugged her Mrs.kim is still in the dining room so it's not a problem
Jennie started to sob and embrace me tightly as if this will be our last meeting, i kiss her head multiple times and stroke her back gentle
"I love you I'll call you as soon as I'm got back from the hospital okay" I try to comfort my sweet mandu and pulled off the hug, i cupped her face and placed loving kiss on her lips
"I love you! Im sorry" i kiss her forehead one last time and walk out of the door
"Love please drive safely" Jennie shout standing in the doorway i look through my shoulder and smile at her, she give me a flying kiss and i acted like i caught it and eat it she started laughing showing all her teeth, i love the view i want to stay longer but...
You already know right my life is full of buts...
After that blissful moment i enter my car and waved at her she waved back at me and i drove directly to hospital
