(author's note: hey! this chapter is pretty long ngl. the story will start to progress and get juicy soon, i hope you enjoy!)
I woke up before my alarm and I was still in Mattia's arms. I didn't want to wake it up because it was only 6am and we don't need to leave until 7:50. I wiggled out of Mattia's arms carefully trying not to wake him up. I didn't want to get up, he was so warm. Since it was so early I decided to put on makeup and curl my hair. I put on a *nice outfit for school then went to the kitchen.
*(The outfit Luna put on)
I made pancakes and then I went back to my room and woke up Mattia. I put my hand on his shoulder and gently shook him.
"Mattia, wake up." I said looking down at him.
He pulled the covers over him and rolled over. I laughed and sat on the side of my bed and pulled the covers down. He looked at me and groaned.
"I made pancakes!" I said.
He immediately got up and went to the kitchen, I laughed and followed him. I got him a plate then put pancakes on it and put it on the counter. I got out the syrup and butter then put that on the counter. I got myself a plate and put some pancakes on it. I sat next to Mattia on a stool at the counter.
"These are so good. Your pancakes always hit different." Mattia said.
"Thank you." I smiled and said.
We both finished eating and Mattia put his plate in the sink.
"I'm gonna run to my house real quick and get ready for school. I'll pick you up, okay?" He said walking towards the front door.
"Sounds good." I said.
"Ight I'll be back quickly, bye Lulu." He said and walked out the door.
He has been calling me Lulu since we were around 2. When we were both learning to talk he could never say "Luna" so he called me "Lulu". So the nickname kind of stuck.
I cleaned up the kitchen, leaving some pancakes for my mom. I went upstairs to my room and grabbed my backpack and my phone. I sprayed some perfume on me and put deodorant then walked back downstairs and waited for Mattia.

I grabbed my lanyard with my house keys and put my backpack on my back. I walked out my front door. I locked my front door and walked over to Mattia's car. I got in the passenger seat in Mattia's car. I threw my backpack in the back, sat down
and shut the car door.
"Did you shower?" I said running my hand through his damp hair.
"Yup." He said.
"You seriously can get ready that fast? Teach me your ways." I said laughing.
"You may take a long ass time to get ready but you look good so it's fine."
"Thank you." I said blushing.
"Of course. Here, don't play shitty music." Mattia said handing me the aux cord.
"You know I won't." I say plugging the aux into my phone.
I play "Baby Are You Home" by Lil Uzi Vert.
"Old uzi, I like it." Mattia says glancing over at me smiling.
I smiled back then said, "Why are you going this way? Isn't this the long way to school?"
"We're going to Starbucks, my treat" He replied.
"Oh my gosh, thank youuuuu!"
I made a tik tok and captioned it, "don't tik tok and drive 🤪💗 @ mattiapolibio"
I had kind of gained a following from the boys not going to lie. I had 500k on tik tok.
I was liking fans comments and the boys comments.

We were now in the drive thru at starbucks
"Can I get two iced vanilla lattes but can I get one with almond milk?" Mattia asked.
"Yes we will have that ready for you at the window." The starbucks employee replied.
Mattia drove up to the window.
"Aw you know my order." I said.
"Are you kidding. Of course I do we come here so much Luna."
I laughed and Mattia payed for our drinks.
He handed me mine (the one with almond milk, I hate milk it is nasty.)
"Thank you Mattia." I said putting my arm around him, giving him a small hug.
"It's no problem." He said leaning his head on mine.
We drove to school listening to "Long Time" by Playboi Carti.
We got to school and walked in to the school building together and met up with the rest of the boys by the stairs.
"Hey guys" I said walking up to them.
"Hey Luna" Alvaro, Alejandro and Kairi said.
I smiled.
"What's up" Mattia said to them.
"Did you two have a sleepover or sum?" Alvaro asked.
"Yeah, what's wrong with that?" Mattia said.
"Nothing." Alvaro said back to him.
I was confused. They know Mattia and I are literally best friends. The first bell rang which meant we had 5 minutes to get to class. Mattia put his arm around me and said,
"Hey good luck on your math test, you got this."
"Thanks tutor." I said smiling and giving him a hug.
"Bye guys. See you all at lunch. Oh and i'll see you in english Ale."
"Bye Luna." They all said as I walked to my math class.
I got to math and sat down at my desk. I got out a pencil. My algebra 2 teacher started handing out the test. I wrote my name on my test and started. I was breezing through this test. I knew how to do every problem. Damn Mattia is a genius. I feel like I never knew this about him. Wow. I double checked my test and then turned it in. The bell rang soon after I had turned my test in.
"I plan to have these graded by lunch. Have a good day class." My math teacher said.
I walked out of algebra and walked to english. I sat next to Alejandro.
"How was your sleepover?" Alejandro asked.
"Fine... Why is it such a big deal? I'm confused." I said.
"Nah it's not really. It's just that we sense something between you and Mattia not gonna lie..." He said.
"We are best friends. You know this Ale. We were literally born on the same day and met that day because of our moms." I explained to him.
"Okay okay whatever. Anyways, we should all chill after school." He said.
"Yess! For sure." I said
Then class started. English ended and then I went to painting/drawing. This period was my favorite. I have always loved art. Not to brag or anything but I'm also pretty good at it. It made me feelso relaxed... when I am drawing or painting everything goes away, all my problems and stress is just gone. That class was over in no time and then I went to history. That class also over very quickly. After history I made my way over to the cafeteria. I got a notification on my phone from powerschool that my Algebra 2 grade changed. I have an 89 in that class now! My grade went up so much! I got a 100 on the test! That's the best I have ever done on a math test this year. Looks like Mattia is gonna be my new tutor. All of the boys were already at our table. I walked up behind Mattia and put my phone infront of his face showing him that I got a %100 on the math test. I sat down next to him. His face completely lit up and his jaw dropped. He gave me a huge hug.
"Luna! That's amazing! I'm actually so proud of you holy shit!" He said squeezing me tightly.
I squeeze him back then let go and say,
"So will you be my permanent tutor?"
"You know I will, Lulu" He says laughing.
I smile,
"Thank you, Mattia. Seriously I can't thank you enough." I say with a big smile on my face.
"Okay chill it's just a test." Kairi says laughing. We all laugh too.
"There is a party tonight at Noah's. We should all go." Alejandro suggests.
I freeze up. I hate parties. The last time I went to a party I got the news that my dad was having an affair with one of his clients and that he walked out of my life. My old "best friend", Elena, hooked up with the guy I had a huge crush on. This was all sophomore year. Ever since then that's what I associated parties with and I just stopped going to them.
"Luna? Hello? Are you gonna come with us?" I abruptly heard Alvaro asking me as I zoned back into reality.
"Oh... Uh... I don't know. Keeping up with the Kardashian's is on tonight. Don't wanna miss that." I laughed nervously.
The boys all looked at me confused.
"When was the last time you even went to a party? You never go to any with us." Kairi asked.
Mattia looked at me and then I could sense that he knew what was going on in my mind. I looked at him and he gave me a face of apology. He was the one I went crying to that night. We both ended up leaving the party and he took me on a drive to our favorite spot in town and he just listened to me talk, rant and cry. He knew what was going through my mind.
"Well the last one I went to was the one last year." I said.
"Oh yeah... Elena's right?" Kairi said.
"Yeah..." I said looking down.
"We don't need to go to a party to have fun. They are stupid anyways." Mattia said putting his hand on my thigh, comforting me. I looked up at him and slightly smiled.
"That night was just rough in general. It doesn't mean all parties are bad Luna." Alvaro said, trying to reassure me.
"Yeah, he's right. This party is gonna be dope. We won't let anything ruin it." Alejandro said.
"Come on Luna." Kairi said.
"After we can sleep at my house. We just finished the basement and there's a huge couch and TV down there." Mattia said.
"Alright. I'll go." I finally gave in.
"Yessss." Kairi said.
"It'll be fun." Alvaro told me.
Lunch ended and I went to the rest of the classes I had. Finally the school day ended and I walked out of the building to Mattia's car. I got in the passenger seat and threw my backpack in the back seat. I sighed.
"Look you don't have to go to Noah's party if you don't want to. I know parties bring back bad memories for you." Mattia said shifting his body towards me.
"I know but the guys want me to go and it can't be that bad." I said.
"Luna do what you want to do not what the boys want." Mattia told me.
"I know I know. I should get over my fear of parties though, I am a teenager after all." I said.
"Okay but we can leave whenever you want." Mattia said making me feel better.
"Okay. Thank you Mattia." I said leaning over and resting my head on his arm.
He pulled out of the parking lot and grabbed my hand.
"I'm here for you. Don't forget that Luna." Mattia told me.
