Napakabagal ng oras.
O di kaya ay sadyang napakaboring lamang ma-trap sa katawan ng isang sanggol.
“Mabuti na lamang at nagkamalay ang prinsesa. Akala ko talaga—”
“Shhhh.. Ang mahalaga ay ligtas sya.”
“Salamat sa mga diyos ng Solas.”
Ilang araw ko na naririnig ang mga personal maids ko na pinag-uusapan ako.
Oo may mga personal maid ako.
Isa akong prinsesa, wag kayo magulo.
Dahil tsismosa ang mga personal maids ko, madami akong nakalap na tsismis mula sa kanila.
Dinapuan ng mataas na lagnat ang prinsesa. She’s just a few months old. She died.
I wouldn’t be in this body if she’s still alive.
This body belongs to Leona Alanis la Solstice von Alhalt Romulus. The sole princess of the kingdom. Hindi ko alam kung nasaang lupalop ako ng Earth. Iilan na lamang mga bansa ang mayroong monarkiya. Muka akong nasa England. Subalit wala naman akong nabalitaang bagong silang na royalty. Isa pa, hindi pamilyar ang royalty name ko. At first time ko lang din narinig ang Land of Solas. Nasa Earth pa rin ba ako?
Matapos mareincarnate with my memories intact, parang hindi na ko magugulat kung nasa ibang mundo ako.
Iwinasiwas ko sa hangin ang hawak kong laruan. Isa itong bola na coated sa ginto. Masaya ko itong niyakap. Mayaman na ko huhuhuhu.
“The princess is so adorable.”
“It’s just sad that the King doesn’t want to see her.”
“The queen died giving birth to her.”
“But it’s not the princess’ fault. It’s so sad.”
Isa pa yan. Mukang itinakwil na ko ng tatay ko. Namatay nanay ko sa panganganak sakin.
“Princess, let me put you to bed.” Saad ni Amber, ang head ng mga personal maids ko.
Nabalot na ng dilim ang silid.
Sa tuwing nangyayari ito, may naririnig akong tunog.
Meow
Nandito na nanaman yung pusa.
Lumalabas sya sa tuwing wala yung mga personal maids ko.
Meow
Isang itim na pusa ang lumitaw sa crib ko.
Meow
“You’re here again.” Sa isip ko
“Of course, Master.”
Bigla akong natigilan.
“F*ck.” Sa isip ko
“F*ck?”
“Sino ka?!” panic kong tanong sa isip ko.. Bakit may naririnig akong tinig sa isipan ko? Nababaliw na ba ko? Or isang halimaw itong pusa? Kakainin nya ba ko
“Naririnig mo na ko, Master?”
“S-sino ka?” sa isip ko
“I’m your Summoned Spirit, Master.”
Meow
“Summoned Spirit?” nagtataka kong tanong sa isipan ko
“Yes Master, I’m the Spirit of Darkness, Nisha.” Meow
Spirit of Darkness?
“You summoned me when you awakened into this world, Master. But you are not strong enough to link your mind with mine.”
Anong summoned spirit? Anong nangyayari? Nasa ibang mundo ba talaga ako?
“What can you do?” tanong ko sa isip ko
“I’m very powerful but once summoned, our powers are sealed. I can only shadow travel, Master. But if you grow stronger, I’ll grow stronger too.”
“What’s a summoned spirit? Why do I have you?”
“We are dwellers from the world of Knox. We can live on this world if we are summoned by a Spiritist.”
“A Spiritist?”
“People who have spiritual powers.”
“I’m a Spiritist?”
“Actually, you are also a summoned spirit from a foreign world, Master. But you now occupied this body.”
She’s right. I don’t own this body, originally.
So I’m also a summoned spirit?
“What is this place?” tanong ko pa sa isip ko
“This place? This is Solas, Master. The Land of the Sun in the world of Finsternis.”
“Wow, so nasa ibang mundo na talaga ako? Part pa ba ito ng Milky Way?”
“Milky Way??”
“Yes, Milky Way Galaxy.”
“What’s a Milky Way Galaxy, Master? Is that edible?”
“Ah, nevermind. You said you will grow stronger. What should I do?” tanong ko
“Spiritual Refinement, Master.”
“Spiritual Refinement?”
“Gathering of spiritual energy to unlock the powers of your summoned spirit.”
“I don’t understand.”
“You need to gather spiritual energy, Master. Most people needs to refine it, but not you Master. You just need to absorb it. You are a summoned spirit so you are special.”
“How do you know?”
“Because you keep growing stronger everyday without doing any refinement Master.”
“I see.”
So I don’t really need to do anything.
“Once your summoned spirit reach the next level, it means that the Spiritist has taken a step towards the next level too.”
“So in order for a Spiritist to grow a level, the spirit needs to level up, and for the spirit to level up, the Spiritist needs to grow stronger. Isn’t that messed up?”
“That’s how it works, Master.”
“So I only need to level you up?”
“Not just me, Master. You included. Also, you need to know how many elemental affinities you have. Depending on how many elemental affinities you have, the more summoned spirits you need to level up. Less you’ll get stock in the first level.”
“How would I know that?”
“I heard the people of Solas tests their children at the age of five.”
“Age of five?? So I need to wait for several more years?”
“Yes Master.”

Patuloy ako sa pagtakbo patungo sa hardin.
Freedom!
I’ve been stock in this mansion for five long years! Never ako binisita ng tatay kong hari.
Bihira lang din akong payagan na maglaro sa hardin.
Pakiramdam ko nakakulong ako sa marangyang mansion na yun ng napakatagal na panahon!
“Nisha!” masaya kong tawag habang hinahabol ang alaga kong pusa
“Princess! Nisha! Please wait up!” tawag ni Amber
Tanging mga personal maidservants lamang ang kasama ko sa nakalipas na limang taon.
Mula sa kanila ay nakakasagap ako ng mga balita sa labas.
Nabalitaan kong may tatlo akong nakatatandang kapatid.
Bawat isa sa amin ay naninirahan sa kanyakanya naming mansion.
Tanging ang hari lamang ang naninirahan sa palasyo.
Broken family kung baga. Pero at least isa akong prinsesa. Madami akong ariariang mga dyamante at ginto. Lahat ng hindi ko nakamtan sa nakaraan kong buhay, mayroon ako sa buhay na ito. I was born with a plastic spoon in my past life. But this life is different.
I don’t need to struggle to survive. I ‘am loved by Amber and all of my maidservants. I’m blessed with ethereal beauty. I’m born with a golden spoon in my mouth. I should be happy and contented.
“Master, look!” narinig ko ang mind link namin ni Nisha
Sa likod ng mataas na mga damo, isang puno ang nagkukubli. At sa sanga ng mga puno, isang munting ahas ang natutulog.
“It’s a spirit, Master!” Nisha thru our mind link
“A spirit?”
“I think he is wounded..?” Nisha thru our mind link
“What happened?”
“He must have fought a powerful foe on our world.” Nisha thru our mind link
“Should I heal him?” tanong ko
“Have you mastered the healing spell, Master?” Nisha thru our mind link
Tumango ako.. Inilapit ko ang aking mga kamay sa itim na ahas.
I chanted the healing spell using the energy of Light, my element.
Nabalot ng liwanag ang lugar.
“It worked!” excited na saad ni Nisha noong makita na nagdilat ng mata ang ahas
“Are you okay?” tanong ko
Hiss
“Glad to hear that.”
Hiss
“Yes, I can understand you. Why? Is that weird?”
Hiss
“Wow, I cant believe I’m being scorned by a snake. And I just save your life.” Paalala ko
Hiss
“Hehe you are very welcome.”
Hiss
“See you around.”
Hiss
“Bye!” paalam namin ni Nisha sa munting ahas
Nagtataka siguro kayo kung bakit Light ang element ko instead of Darkness. Nagtataka din ako.
Nakita ko si Amber di kalayuan.
“Princess, I saw the flash of light just now. Please don’t use your powers outside. People might find out. “ nag-aalalang saad ni Amber
“Hehe.” Tanging tugon ko
“Princess, spiritual powers awakens at the age of 12, if people finds out about you, they might hurt you. Your father might not protect yo—I mean, the King, his Highness, is busy so he might not be able to help.” Nag-aalalang saad ni Amber
Maybe for normal people, they can only wield their spiritual powers at age 12, they can use the elements that they have affinities with through practice and training, but Im a summoned spirit. Like Nisha, I have my own abilities.
“It’s okay Amber, I understand. Daddy is busy.” Saad ko
Nagbuntong hininga si Amber.
“Come on Princess, let’s go to the Rose Garden.”
Nakangiti akong tumango.
Sa pag-alis nila, walang nakapansin sa paglitaw ng isang matipunong binata.
“I’ve been away for hundreds of years, fighting the Demon Lord. What is this place?” tanong ng binata
Isang itim na ahas ang pumulupot sa braso ng binata.
Hiss
Unti-unting naging dambuhala ang ahas, showing it’s true form. Ilang ahas pa ang lumitaw sa presensya ng binata.
“Solas? It’s just a small village when I left. Now it’s a huge kingdom?”
Hiss
“Hmm? That little brat healed your wounds? She’s a talented one.”
Hiss
“Huh? She can understand you even if you’re not her summoned spirit? What a weird brat.”
Hiss
“Ahh.. You're right. She’s not normal. How fascinating. I think I found something interesting to spend my time while waiting for my wounds to heal. It might take a couple of years though.”
Hiss
“Don’t worry. I’ll recuperate and get back to the immortal realm to fight that old Demon Lord again.”
Hiss
“I know, I know. I wont get side-tracked. I’m just curious about this little brat.”
And that’s how the fate of the God of Darkness and the future Goddess of Light intertwined.
