Y/n's POV
Tomorrow's the day for the Vytal Festival and I'm not qualified to fight because Ozpin said he will allow me to fight at the finals.
Right now, I'm at Glynda's combat class and I'm watching Pyrrha kick Team CRDL's ass.
Jaune: "Go Pyrrha!"
Nora: "Break their legs!"
Cardin tried to sneak behind her while his Teammate distract her but she quickly bash him in the face with her shield.
Y/n: "Your shield got dirty Pyrrha."
Pyrrha: "I'll clean it later!"
She throw her shield at Russel and used her Semblance at her shield, hitting The rest of Team CRDL.
Glynda: "The fight is over! Pyrrha is the winner!"
Y/n: "Wait, that was a fight?"
Jaune: "Way a go Pyrrha!"
Yang: "You should have kicked their ass more!"
Glynda: "We still have more time. Does anyone like to participate?"
Mercury: "I will."
Glynda: "Who would you like tobattle?"
Mercury: "Him."
He pointed at me.
Glynda: "I'm sorry but, your gonna have to pick another opponent."
Mercury: "Why? Is he the VIP in the ring?"
Y/n: "No. Just the Final Boss that no will beat."
Glynda: "Mr. Redgrave has a set of skills that no Huntsman in training can defeat easily. Not even a professional Huntsman."
Mercury: "Won't believe that unless I see it with my own eyes."
Y/n: "So you look'n to play huh?"
I get up and stretch my arms out.
Y/n: "Alright, I got some time to kill."
I hop down on the arena and face against Mercury.
Mercury: "Aren't you getting your weapons?"
Y/n: "I was about to ask the same thing."
Mercury: "My leg is my weapon."
Y/n: "Maybe I can use this as a weapon for now."
I grab a pencil under my coat and everyone starts to whisper thinking that I'm crazy.
Glynda: "Does both fighters ready?"
Mercury: "All set.
Y/n: "Let's make this quick."
Glynda: "Begin!"
Mercury rush at me, try to kick me in the head but I just dodge each kick without moving from my spot.
Y/n: "Wow, your kick are so slow."
Mercury: "I'll show you!"
He tried to tackle me but I just raised my fist and it hit into his face. He fell down while holding his nose in pain.
Y/n: "I didn't even put force on my fist yet."
Mercury: "Why you!"
I grab a Fedora out of nowhere and put it on my head.
Y/n: "Let's dance!"
He tried to kick me up and down but I just dodge them with ease while dancing.
Y/n: "Hee! Hee! OWW!!"
Mercury: "Stop moving you son of a bitch!"
Ruby: "Work it Y/n!"
Nora: "Break his leg while dancing!"
Y/n: "Let's finish this. I'm getting hungry."
I saw Mercury running towards me so I kick him in the stomach, stopping him in his tracks. I then kick him from all directions and finally kick him into the air.
Y/n: "YEAH!"
Mercury landed behind me and his Aura shattered like glass.
Glynda: "That's enough! Mr. Redgrave wins!"
Everyone starts to applause while Cinder and Emerald ran down to check on Mercury.
Glynda: "Tomorrow's the Vytal Festival. Give all your best! Class Dismiss."
Everyone starts to walk out of the room while Team RWBY and JNPR walk towards me.
Y/n: "Well, so much for getting this pencil out."
I put the pencil back to my coat along with the Fedora.
Ruby: "That was awesome Y/n!"
Blake: "Yeah. Who knew you could dance like that."
Weiss: "That really was impressive!"
Jaune: "Can you teach me to dance like that?!"
Y/n: "But that comes with a price."
Jaune: "Seriously?!"
Y/n: "Yeah, nothing free anymore. Anyway, let's go to the Cafeteria. I'm hungry."

Yang: "Yeah! It's tonight! And I plan for the preparations!"
Y/n: "Why wasn't I inform of this?"
Ruby: "Your were gone for more than three days remember?"
Y/n: "Oh, right...."
Blake: "So anyway, are you coming?"
Y/n: "No."
Weiss: "Why?"
Y/n: "I don't have a partner. So I'm not coming."
Blake/Weiss(Blush): "W-Well, w-wanna go wi-"
Ruby: "Then let's go together!"
Blake: "Hey! I was gonna ask him first!"
Weiss: "I was asking him first!"
Ruby: "No I did!"
Blake: "No! Me!"
Weiss: "Me!"
I just sigh and starts to walk out while they keep arguing. I went back to the dorm and I saw Jaune practicing his dance move with Ren.
Y/n: "Looks like those two can handle themselves."
I continue to head to my dorm and I finally arrive. I took off my coat and lay flat on the bed.
Y/n: *Sigh*"It's finally nice to have a bed instead of a couch."
I was about to sleep but I heard a horrible singing outside.
???: "Weiss!~ Will you go to the dance with me?~"
I open my door and saw Jaune holding a guitar in front of Team RWBY's dorm. Then Weiss open the door and has an irritated look on her face.
Weiss: "Are you done?"
Jaune: "Yes."
Weiss: "Then No."
She slams the door shut while Jaune knock again.
Jaune: Come on, open the door. Please I promise I won't sing."
Then Weiss open the door again and Jaune sings again.
Jaune: "I lied!~"
I walk towards him, grab the guitar and slam it on his head.
Y/n: "I'm trying to sleep here."
Team RWBY got shock and Jaune quickly get up while the broken guitar is still dangling on his neck.
Jaune: "I'M SORRY!"
He run back inside his dorm while I walk back to my door.
Blake: "Y/n Wait!"
Y/n: "What?"
Weiss: "Are you really going to the dance?"
Y/n: "I'll go the dance when Jaune wears a dress."
Yang: "Come on, don't be such a party pooper! You can come even if you don't have a partner!"
Ruby: "Yeah! There's even food there!"
Y/n: "Food?"
For some reason I noticed Weiss and Blake smirked.
Blake: "Yeah. There's Strawberry sundae there."
Weiss: "And Pizza."
Y/n: "Are you two trying to convince me?"
Weiss: "Oh, and I ordered the most cheesiest Pizza ever in Vale and they'll deliver it tonight."
Y/n: "Then I'll see you ladies tonight."
Ruby: "Really?! Yay! Operation: Best Dance Party is a go! BANZAI!"
WBY: "BANZAI!"
The all raised their fist into the air.
Y/n: "Bankai?"
Ruby: "We'll see you tonight!"
Then they went back in to their dorm and slam it shut.

It time for the Dance night and everyone is wearing the best dress or suit they got. Ozpin along with Glynda are by the entrance, greeting the coming guest.
Ozpin: "Are you sure that you don't wanna wear any dress Ms. Goodwitch?"
Glynda: "There's no need for that Professor. I don't even have a partner."
Ozpin: "Ironwood is coming here later."
Glynda: "I'm not interested of having a dance with Gen. Ironwood."
Ozpin: "I see. Is it because he chose to show to the media instead of your date?"
Glynda: "Please, let's not talk about it Professor."
Ozpin: "Very well."
Then they saw Team RWBY just arrived wearing their own unique dress.
Ozpin: "I'm glad you girls we're able to make it."
Glynda: "Very beautiful dresses you wear."
Ruby: "Thanks Prof. Glynda!"
Yang: "Hey look, there's Nora and Ren."
Weiss: "U-Um, Prof. Ozpin, did Y/n arrive already?"
Ozpin: "No, Y/n hasn't arrive yet."
Glynda: "I doubt that Mr. Redgrave will come."
Blake: "He'll come. He promised."
Ozpin: "Y/n say's he promised? That's new."
Ruby: "He just said he'll see us tonight."
Ozpin: "I see. I just hope he wear something formal instead of his Red Coat. Anyway, you girls enjoy your night. We still have more guest coming."
Ruby: "Alright Professor!"
Team RWBY went inside to enjoy the party while Ozpin and Glynda keep greeting the coming guest. Then they saw Ironwood along with Winter.
Ozpin greeted them while Glynda looks very annoyed seeing Ironwood.
Ozpin: "Welcome Gen. Ironwood. And Ms. Schnee."
Ironwood: "Thank you for having us Ozpin. Glynda."
Glynda: "....James..."
He was about to grab her hand and kiss it, but she snuck her hand away.
Glynda: "If your here for the party, then go. If for me, then leave."
Ironwood: "Glynda please let-"
Glynda: "I don't wanna ruin this night for everyone James. So don't."
Ozpin: "We have beverages here. Please enjoy the punch bowl Gen. Ironwood."
Winter: "is Weiss here?"
Ozpin: "She's over there by her Team. And she's seems to be waiting for her boyfriend."
Winter: "Weiss never told me she had boyfriend."
She walk towards her sister while Ironwood went to get a punch bowl.
Winter: "Weiss."
Weiss turns around and saw her sister.
Weiss: "Winter!"
She run towards her and gave her a hug.
Winter: "I'm glad your here!"
Winter: "I see you and your Team are doing well."
Weiss: "Yeah! And we're excited for the Vytal Festival tomorrow!"
Winter: "By the way, why didn't you tell me that you already have boyfriend?"
Weiss(Blush): "Eh?!"
Her face puffed into deep red while Winter smirked at her.
Weiss(Blush): "I-I-I don't have a boyfriend!"
Winter: "But why did Prof. Ozpin told me you were waiting for your boyfriend?"
Weiss(Blush): "N-No seriously! I don't have a boyfriend!"
Winter: "It's alright Weiss. As long as he take care of you, I'm fine with that."
Yang: "So Ice Queen already had a boyfriend huh?"
Ruby: "How come you didn't told us Weiss?!"
Blake: "You were hiding it behind our back."
Weiss(Blush): "I really don't have a boyfriend!"
Winter: "Then I'll just have to ask Prof. Ozpin if you really have."
Weiss(Blush): "NO!"
She hug her in the waist to stop her.
Weiss(Blush): "I-I don't really have a boyfriend! H-He's just s-someone I-I l-l-like."
Winter: "So you got a crush on this guy?"
Weiss(Blush): "Y-Yes.."
Winter: "Will he be coming here?"
Weiss(Blush): "H-He said he would."
Winter: "Well then. I want to meet him."
As Winter continue to tease Weiss, Y/n finally arrived and he's wearing a suit he rented.
Ozpin: "Welcome Y/n. I glad you could make it."
Y/n: "Thanks. It's hard to find a rented suit at this hour."
Glynda: "You look very well in a suit Mr. Redgrave. Maybe you should wear that instead of your coat."
Y/n: "I'll pass. It took me 40 mins just to put this stupid tie on."
Ozpin: "Anyway, Team RWBY is waiting for you over there. And if your hungry, we have food on the table and Ms. Schnee ordered some cheesy Pizza."
Y/n: "Now this I like."
He went to the food table and saw some boxes of Pizza. He grab one back and start eating it. He walk to the punch bowl to grab some but he didn't noticed Ironwood was beside him and Ironwood didn't noticed him as well.
Y/n: "Hey buddy, can I have one?"
He asked Ironwood while eating the Pizza and looking at the dance floor.
Ironwood: "Here you go."
He passes him a cup while he keep glancing on Glynda.
Y/n: "Thanks."
He walk to a vacant table and continue to eat his Pizza. He finished the whole box and drink at the punch.
Y/n: "Now that I've got my Pizza. Time to get the hell out of here."
He stand up from his chair and going walk to the door but he heard someone calling him.
Ruby: "Y/n! Your here!"
She used her Semblance to get to him and hug him.
Y/n: "Easy there cooking monster. I just ate."
Ruby: "Oops! Sorry!"
She lets go of him and Yang, Blake and Weiss went towards them.
Blake: "I'm glad you made it Y/n."
Yang: "Yeah, Ice queen wouldn't rest when your not here."
Weiss(Blush): "Quiet you dolt!"
Y/n: "Aw.~ Does Ice Queen miss me that much? I'm so touched.~"
Winter: "Weiss."
Weiss: "Winter! Y/n meet my sister. Winter this is-"
Winter: "Y/N!"
She grab her sword and dash towards Y/n but he caught her sword with his hands.
Weiss: "Winter?! What are you doing?!"
Winter: "Y/n Redgrave! Your under arrest!"
Y/n: "What? Your gonna take me to your room? I'll pass."
The commotion caught the attention of Ironwood. He then saw Y/n fighting Winter so he grab his gun and run towards Y/n and pointed it.
Ironwood: "Your under arrest Y/n Redgrave!"
Y/n: "Well well, if it isn't Jimmy Morning Wood."
Ironwood: "That's Gen. Ironwood to you!"
Y/n: "That's what the others called you. So tell me, did you finally choose the 'Date' instead of the 'Media interview'?"
Ironwood: "Why you little!"
He was about to fire his gun but a purple aura stop him along with Winter.
Ozpin: "You will not arrest Mr. Redgrave because he's a student of my school!"
Ironwood: "You can't be serious Ozpin!"
Ozpin: "I am. And I cannot let his talent be locked up in a cell with no sunlight."
Winter: "Weiss! This guy is your boyfriend?! I don't approve him!"
Y/n: "Me? Weiss's boyfriend? That's not actually a bad idea."
That made Weiss blushed madly.
Winter: "I don't approve you for my sister! And Father won't approve you for Weiss!"
Glynda: "If your only here to cause trouble, I suggest you leave. Now."
Ozpin: "Stand down now Gen. Ironwood. We'll talk about this tomorrow at the office."
Ironwood and Winter got irritated at first but they put their weapons away.
Y/n: "You know Ice bitch, I think it's time for you to look for a boyfriend instead of catching on my ass like you used too."
Winter: "Weiss! Break up with him! I don't not approve his existence with you! He will only hurt you!"
Y/n: "You can't break us up when we're not even dating. Duh."
Weiss: "I get to choose who I want to be my boyfriend! You cannot partner me with someone I don't really love!"
Winter: "Weiss, think of what Father would say."
Weiss: "I don't care of what Father would say! This is my life! That's that!"
She went to the balcony and the rest of her Team follow her to comfort her.
Y/n: "Nice pep talk."
She got irritated and walk to the food table. He look over to Ozpin and Ironwood talking while Ironwood is convincing Ozpin to arrest Y/n.
He then saw Cinder, Emerald and Mercury just arrived and they're wearing their own suit and dress.
Y/n: "They sure hell took their time."
The music change and it turn into a slow dance.
He was about to take a seat but someone tap on his shoulder. He turn around and saw Cinder in a black dress.
Cinder: "Care to dance?~"
Y/n: "....No."
He was going for a seat but Cinder grab his arm and lead him in the middle of the dance floor.
Y/n: *Sigh*"Fine."
He offered her a hand which she accepts and she placed her other hand on his shoulder while Y/n's free hand is on her waist.
Cinder: "I must say, you look handsome in a suit."
Y/n: "This is the first time I'm wearing this crap."
Cinder: "You should always wear it."
Y/n: "It's hard to move in this thing. I barely dodge a sword attack with this thing."
Cinder: "The suit make look good, but you have a point on moving."
Y/n: "Nice dress anyway, fits perfectly in your firm body.~"
Cinder: *Giggle*"Thank you."
Y/n: "So anyway, what took you so long?"
Cinder: "I was having trouble on putting on a make up."
Y/n: "Good thing boys don't have make up."
Cinder: *Giggle*"Your funny. I like that.~"
Y/n: "Maybe I got something that you might like.~"

Then the music stop. Making them let go of each other.

She walk back to where Emerald and Mercury. Then the door open and everyone start to laugh.
Y/n: "What's the joke?"
He look by the door and saw Jaune wearing a dress.
Y/n: "He finally give up his humanity."
Jaune then walk towards Pyrrha while she's laughing.
Jaune: "Pyrrha. Will dance with me?"
Pyrrha: "Jaune. You didn't have to do that."
Jaune: "I'm an Arc. And we don't back down on our word. Now, are you going to stand there and laugh at me, or do you wanna dance?"
Pyrrha: "I would love to dance."
The two of them went to the dance floor and Nora and Ren join them.
Team RWBY went back inside and they Team JNPR dancing and Jaune wearing a dress.
Blake: "What on earth is Jaune wearing?"
Yang: "I don't know but it's sure is funny!"
Y/n: "There you girls are. So how was the air?"
Ruby: "It was good. Weiss is calm down a little."
Y/n: "Well that's good to hear."
Then the spotlight pointed at Y/n and everyone gave him space.
Y/n: "Wanna see me dance? Alright then."
He grab the same Fedora out of nowhere and dance.

Everyone starts clapping and whistling.
Yang: "That was awesome! How did you do that sliding backwards?!"
Weiss: "And where did that small fireworks come from?"
Y/n: "I don't know. But I'm glad that it's there."
