Their exams were over but not his annoyance.Preetha tried to convince karan but he seemed upset though.After their last exam ,she went to library with a hope to meet him.To her luck,he was there reading a book.As exams were over nobody was there in the library,so she sat beside him but he kept on looking the book.Enough of his ignorance,she shut the book which he was pretending to read and he looked at her.
Preetha(angrily whispring): thumhara padayi khatham hogayi hein.......aur kya padna hai?
Karan(sarcastic): achaa yeh baath mujhe nai patha.....thank you for reminding.
He again opens the book ,she snatches the book this time.
Karan(irritated): thumhara problem kya hein.....??
Preetha: thum?
Karan(reverting): aise baath hai tho mujse kyun baath kar rahe ho?
Preetha(angrily): arey ....thumse matlab thumhari iss gusse se problem hein.
Karan: Ok good.....ab mera book do.
Preetha: mein nai dunga jab tak thum mujhe maaf nai karoge....
Karan: ok keep it with you.library mein copies hotha hain.....patha heina.(angrily)waise bhi meri mafi kyun chahiye thumhe.......hum aapke hein kaun?
Preetha(seeing his eyes): mera sab kuch
He sees her and her eyes clearly shows how much she needs his apology.But he turns away his face.
Preetha(crybaby face): aur kitne din gussa rahoge? kitne dino se maafi maang raha hu mein?
Karan: achaaa......kitne dino se? last 5 days se baath bhi nai kiya mujhe
Preetha: exams heinaa......so pad rahi hu.lekin meine roz sorry message bheja hai thumhe....thum mujhe reply bhi nai diya?
Karan(angrily): kaise deta.....ha?(looks around and calms a bit) meri muh pe ek sorry message feka hai bas...mujse baath karne ki time hi nai hai thumhe...... aur mein uski reply karu.jab mujhe jaantha hai ki meri reply se thumhe farak hi nahi padega.mein kyun reply karu?
Preetha(with little tears,softly): thum aise kaise keh sakthe ho ki mujhe farak nai padegaa.......farak padtha hai bahot farak padtha hai.mein bahot der wait kiya hai thumhare reply keliye.........pata heina thumhe bahot busy rehthi hu exams time mein.sab mere paas hi aathe hein.......phone karne ka mauka hi nai mila.lekin thum sab jaanthe hue bhi aise baath karthe ho.
The little tears in her eyes softens his heart.
Karan: thum naa..........bahot bure ho.
Her tears comes out.
Karan(wiping tears): koyi bhi greeting cards,gifts dekar manathe hai lekin thum iss choti choti anknon se manathe ho mujhe........buri ladki.
She smiles.
Preetha: aur thum iss badi si smile dekar mujhe manathe ho.......bura ladka.
They both smile.They really missed each other and now smiling at each other is what they can do to relieve themselves.
Karan: Exams achese hua?
Preetha: Good.
Karan: Thank god your exams were over......chalo 3 din holidays heina.bahar chalthe hein kal
Preetha: nai karan......
Karan(annoyed): ab kya hua?
Preetha: wo.......sab ne tour rakha hai 3 din goa.kal subah hi start ho raha hu ham......
Karan: what?
Preetha: haa rishi ne mera naam mujhe puche bina include kiyaa......fir bhi mein mana kiya lekin wo keh raha ki agar mein nai jaau tho wo bhi nai jaayega.isiliye mujhe jaana hai.....
Karan: yaaar wo kabhi nai chodega kya thumhe...........thum usko kya lagtha hai?
Preetha(smiling): best friend
Karan: uska harikathe bilkul aise nai lagtha mujhe kuch aur hi lagtha hai
Preetha: What? kya baath kar rahe ho........thum jaanthe honaa ham dono best friends hein aur kya?
Karan(annoyed): haa mein jaantha hu lekin puri college ko aise lagtha hain ki thum dono best friends nai kuch aur hi hai
Preetha(holds his hand): mujhe bas thumse matlab hein......thum mujhe trust karthe honaa?(he nods) aur kya baath hein?
They look at each other and after a few minutes.
Karan: m....matlab thum free nai ho......??
Preetha: hmmmmm......
She gets a call from rishi and she pick up.
Preetha(in call): haa teddy bolo......ok...ok...mein aa rahi hu.
She puts the call and sees karan who understood what she wants to tell.
Karan: ha ha....mein samaj gaya.jaao.....jaao.....thumhara bf wait kar raha hogaa
Preetha: what?
Karan: matlab......best friend wait kar raha hai....jao.
Preetha: use bf nai bff kehthe hai......woh meri bff hein.....lekin thum meri bf ho.
He smiles listening her.He can know what he is to her in her face.
Preetha: Byee boy friend fir milthe hein.......
She goes and he can't stop smiling remembering her.
Karan(smiling): Bf......boy friend.
Preetha goes to rishi who is with other friends.
Preetha: bathao teddy kya hua hein?
Rishi: mickey thum aa gayi.....kaha thi itni der tak?
Preetha: bas yahi thi...thum bathao. urgently aane ko kaha.kya hua?
Rishi: tour ke baare mein discuss karna tha.
Preetha tries to give excuse in the last minute also such that she could go with karan.
Preetha: teddy mujhe aana hein kya? meri matlab aap log jaao mein fir kabhi aathi hu....
Rishi: thum nai aana heina?
She nods no and slightly feels happy as he might be ok.
Rishi: ok mein bhi nai jaungaaa......(to sandy) sandy mein nai aaraha yaar.aap log jaao
Aadya: guys rishi aur preetha ko nai aana hai so ham sab jayenge.
Sandy: Aadya shut up........
Aadya(angrily): hey thum mujhe shut up bola?
Sandy: haa bola....aur zyada bakwas boli tho firse bolungaa.
Aadya: How dare you.....mujse aise baath karogi.
Vicky: stop it aadya.......thum sabhal se baath karo aur hame baath karne do rishi se.
Sandy: yeah that's right.........rishi Kya hein sab?sab thumhareliye(seeing everyone) matlab thumne hi plan kiya heinaa.....ab achanak thum nai aaya tho kaise hoga sab.
Rishi: yaar mein sab thumhe baathaungaa.........agar mickey nai aaya tho mein bhi nai aaungaa.
Sandy: preetha dekhonaa thumhari wajah se rishi nai aa raha hai........aao naa
All of them plead her.
Aadya: yaar aap sab itna kyun puch rahe ho use.......wo aana nai chahthi hai hamare saath.lets all leave her......
Vicky: ek kaam karo thum math aao.......hame bahot acha lagegaa.
Aadya(pointing her finger): hey mind your words ok......
Vicky(turning down her finger,angrily): you first mind your words.......rishi preetha hamari dosth hein.agar wo dono nai aaya tho ham bhi nai aayenge.and don't ever talk to me like this......
Preetha seeing that its all because of her,
Preetha: Guys cool..... cool.........achhaa ok ok mein athi hu.
Rishi feels happy and everybody also.Sandy cools vicky and aadya's friends cool aadya.Everything becomes normal.
Preetha:teddy thumna..... bahot chalu hogaya
Rishi: aur thum bahot ziddi hogayi......
They smile and look at each other.
Sandy(correcting his throat): so love birds......?
They get shocked.Rishi smiles widely whereas preetha sees sandy angrily.
Preetha(loudly): oyyy kaun hein love birds.......kaun? haa
Sandy: shaanth baby shaanth...........meri jaan logi kya?
Rishi gets angry listening baby.
Rishi(angrily): Abey oyy agli baar use baby bulana ......woh nai mein teri jaan lungaa.
Now,sandy gets angry
Sandy(angrily): ek tho thujhe mein help kar raha hu thum mujhe dhamki de rahe ho.....chal hat.
Preetha(confused): thum isko kya help kar raha hein?
Rishi see sandy angrily while sandy see him annoyed.
Preetha: bolonaa......
Rishi: chodo mickey.....yeh ladka(stamping his foot) yeh ladka na pagal hogaya.
Sandy(murmuring): sab jaanthe hai ki kaun kiskeliye pagal hogaya hain
Rishi hears it and glares him.Preetha sees both of them confused.
Preetha: kya ho raha hai yaha?
Rishi: kuch bhi nai.....thum uska baathein chodo aur tour ke baare mein suno
Preetha not understanding anything nods and listens to him
Rishi: kal subah flight hein hamara fir rest and beach,next day treck,next day afternoon return flight.ok
Everyone nods.
Rishi: so guys ham sab kal milenge sharp at 6 at airport......all of you be ready.And one more thing.....Keep luggage as less as possible as we are going for treck.ok....
All of them go talking about next day morning.
Rishi: so mickey mein thumhe pick up karunga kal.....
Preetha(nervous): nai......
Rishi: y?
Preetha: actually mein hostel mein hu pichle 2 weeks se.....exams ki khatir.so I will come by myself thum tension math lo.
Rishi(wonders): ohhh ok........
He thinks why is she staying in hostel.
Preetha: bye teddy.kal milenge....
Rishi: hmm.....bye mickey
She goes and he smiles seeing her but still thinks about her.
NEXT DAY
All of them were at airport.Preetha was waiting for Karan's message while aadhya was doing her touch up and sandy,Vicky were waiting for rishi.
Sandy: yaar yeh rishi kaha hein......time ho raha hein check in ka ab tak nai aaya?
Vicky: aatha hoga.......meanwhile let's check our seats.
They were checking the seat numbers when they found out that preetha's name was not there.He rechecked but of no use.
Sandy: Vicky preetha ka name kaha hein?
Vicky: that's what i am searching yaar.......rishi mera jaan lega.
Sandy: let's go to help desk
They go and find out that preetha's ticket was confirmed in business class.
Sandyy: yeh kaise? Vicky thum aise kaise book kiya?
Vicky(confused): yaar meine college computer se hi book kiya hein......pata nai kaise hua.
Sandy: ab rishi se kya kahogi thum?
They get worry about Rishi's reaction.While preetha keeps on looking phone.
Preetha: meri phone nai utha rahi hein yeh....... kyun.lagtha hein fir upset hein trip ke baare mein.......kya karu ab?(looking at herself)unka favourite kurtha hein yeh......please gussa math ho.
She feels upset when she gets stumbled by a person.
