You giggled softly as the kitten lost its balance on its hind legs, it's tiny claws caught in your loose bandages, it would've fallen off the bed if you hadn't put a hand under it and caught him before he fell. It didn't seem to register the save and continued to chew and nibble on the loose strings from your bandages.

Luckily, your burns had healed and it was just cuts across your palms now, you replaced your bandages with your father's help, Recovery Girl brining one of the school nurses with her. A woman, Pro-Hero: Lady Eve, a therapist within the school, she had the unique ability to create single-minded animals from her own imagination, using her quirk, primarily, to help students with anxiety or stress. She was also a great counselor, a close friend to you.

The kitten you held now was only a part of the woman's imagination, a figment of the mind and yet the cutest thing you've ever seen.

She glanced over from her place at the lab table, peering into a kaleidoscope from her place across the room, "She likes you," she chuckled.

"And I love her, yes I do!" You made kissy, baby noises as you lifted the kitten to your face. She placed a paw on your cheeks, purring lightly and you laughed, cooing lovingly at the creature. You turned towards your father, holding the kitten out, "Here! She's so fluffy!" You offered with a laugh.

The man shook his head at you, snickering lightly in his seat beside you. "She seems to be attached to you, besides--" he raises a brown, playful pit bull in his skinny arm's, "my hands are full." You laughed at him. He sighed inaudibly, smiling lightly, he was pleased to know that she wasn't as upset anymore, even cracking cracking a smile his way.

You reached forwards, rubbing the short fur in top of the dogs head, giving kissy faces to the pit bull that was close to hopping onto the bed and licking your face for the attention.

You didn't need to be in the medical wing anymore, mostly just sticking around after Recovery Girl's work in order to go over some work, you had completed your research for the pills you were making for your father. You had waited so long and now that he had finally chosen a successor and his time limit was shortening faster than before, you knew this was a better time than any.

Recovery Girl was supposed to come back after treating another student, technically classes were still being held and she was still the primary doctor in the building.

You finally put the kitten down, it's paws clinging to the sheets, nipping at the cloth as you stood. You groaned slightly, sore in some areas, mostly in your shoulder's and thighs, balancing most of the weight of the robot in those areas. Your father stood to help you, you reached a hand out, "It's fine, I'm fine," you assured him, before straightening.

You walked past him, taking your clothes from the hangar, thankfully they weren't too bad looking. Once you out your lab coat on, it would cover up most of that he damage. Your sweater was mostly ruined but, not too bad that you couldn't wear it, you turned back towards your father. "I'm gonna go change, my shift with Recovery Girl starts soon."

Toshinori glances from your bandaged hands back up to your face, before nodding. "Ok, yeah, I'll pick you up when you're done, if you'd like?" He suggests.

You smiled, chuckling shortly. "Sure, thanks, Dad," You said before leaving the room to change.

Toshinori stands there, glancing backwards as he finds the kitten on the bed fade away, the pit bull falling asleep on the bed, before fading himself. He let's out a small breath from his nose, "Lady Eve, do you have kids?"

The woman doesn't look up but nods her head, "Yes, I do. I see you're having some trouble there, All Might," she stated, turning in her seat.

"I'm not sure what to do. I keep messing up," he sighs to himself, looking away from the door you dissappeared through. "I just want to let her know I don't mean too." He finds himself sliding back down back into his seat.

He felt her hand on his shoulder. "Raising a child can be difficult, especially when it's on your own," she said, "What you need to focus on is letting her know you care, and that's all you really can do. Parenting isn't easy, it never will be, unfortunately," she rubs his shoulder before stepping away. "There's no short cuts either."

"Well, what if you've done that and you've proven it to yourself...but not to her?" He turns slightly, his lips press together in a thin line.

She paused at that, before glancing back at him. "Then, she doesn't hear it often enough." She sits. "Or you're just not trying as hard as you think you are."

The moment you closed the door, looking up, you find yourself confused at the scene in front of you.

Bakugo was yelling, heatedly, at Shouto, who was sitting down, arms crossed with an annoyed stare. Izuku in front of them trying in vain to settle the situation, laughing awkwardly as Bakugo swings arm around to point at another boy with dark - purple hair, whom looked oddly familiar who tiredly rolled eye's. A dark-haired boy watching the guys go at it, laughing faintly, rubbing the back of his messy hair with a canine, toothy grin.

"Guys?"

They all turned immediately, seeing you walking over from the room, the hallway illuminating with every step you took. Everyone seemed to freeze up as you halted to a stop, rising to their feet, Izuku was the first to run over, followed by everyone else.

"(Y/n)! Are you ok?! We heard about what happened! You must've been so cool out there!" Izuku gushed, his eyes shining like stars as he gaped at you, his hands balled up in front of him in excitement. You began to wonder what he had heard.

"I'm fine, really!" You assured with a bright smile. "These'll be off by tomorrow." You wiggled your bandaged fingers at them, but that did little to ease them, their eyes immediately going to them.

"You're still hurt, you dumbass! How can you say you're fine!" Bakugo yelled at you, blowing your hair back and making everyone around him wince.

Shouto glared at him. "I should freeze your tongue and see what you have to say then," he spoke and you chuckled lightly before Katsuki growls at him.

"Then, I'd never hear the end of it. Most of your words are primarily screams ya know, Katsu," you laughed. Katsuki screaming at you in response, blushing harshly, Shouto lightly breathing a laugh, while Izuku sweatdropped with a small chuckle.

Kirishima and Hitoshi watched from the sidelines, surprised at the interaction, the trio of boys were all so different, their personalities colliding violently with them in a room together. They wouldn't have imagined that they were actually telling the truth of being friends with you, but here they were, joking and yelling your way and you were doing the same.

If anything, it made them feel alittle self-conscious, shifting from left to right they urged themselves to stay put, say a few words and walk away. But, it was more than that, if everything in the school exam worked out, they wanted to be your friends, someone you could rely on. After all, you were much more than they could've imagined you to be.

You giggles subsided before you gasped, taking a huge breath as if you remembered something, eliciting the boys attention. "Izuku!" You smiled widely up at the boy, making him jump, "I heard you did great! I wish I could've seen it!" You clapped your hands together, excitedly.

Katsuki scoffed. "This quirkless loser? I bet he pissed himself and didn't get one hit in!" The ash blonde boy balked out a laugh.

You shoved him lightly. "I'm the one who's been training with him, ya know. If ya took the liberty to go on a run with us, once in a while, maybe you'd see," you put a hand on your hip.

"I don't need you two weighing me down, I'm fine in my own," he refused the offer, his hands behind his head.

Izuku sighed but smiled sheepishly. "Thanks (y/n)-chan, but I didn't really do anything special. In fact, I'm not sure I did all that great," the boy deflated, you frowned slightly before flicking him in the forehead.

He yelps and jumps back, rubbing his forehead while you giggle. "Hey! Why you do that?" He cried.

"Well, you're not gonna get in with that attitude, ya know. I heard that you were incredible, so we're gonna wait for your letter and then decide. Which, I don't think you have to worry about." You gave him a wide, toothy smile.

Izuku felt a weight lift off his shoulders, and he smiled right back, it reached his eyes and his heart lifted. "Right!"

You giggled before turning towards Katsuki as you found him letting out a puff of air, "And yes, I know you blew up half the robots, Dad told me. You're such a destructive piece of work, ya know that?" You poked his shoulder, knowing it would annoy him, crossing your arm's.

He scoffed, looking away with a heated look. "Shaddup wench! At least, I passed! I mutilated this fucking test!" He declared. "Why're you giving me such a hard time about it! Huh?!" He bared his teeth at you.

Izuku sweatdropped, Shouto shakes his head with a sigh.

You weren't fazed. "I never said you weren't amazing, which you were, as usual," that seemed to boost his ego, he straightened up alittle, his frown dissipating. "Did you even count how many points you got?"

Katsuki shrugged, but you could see the pride on his face. "I stopped counting past 70," you sweatdropped at the number and Izuku let out a horrified yell.

"70?!? Ahh!!!" He began to scream, freaking out as his thoughts drifted back to the final moments of his exam, where he hadn't been able to get a single point. "I hardly got a point, how am i gonna get into the school with that on my shoulders?! Oh god, what what am what am I gonna do?! What if I--no, ah, what about--" he began to murmur, rejecting and suggesting solutions aloud until no one could understand what he was saying.

Katsuki only proceeded to smirk, you let out a small sigh before shaking your head.

You found yourself standing in between the two boys before raising a brow at Shouto, "Wait a minute, how did you know I was hurt?" You wondered.

"I didn't."

You looked to the side wondering if he was going to elaborate. "And..." you hinted, stretching the word. He blinked at you as if he said everything he needed to say. "Ok, Sho, work with me. Tell me who told you I was here?"

"No one."

Oh my god, I can't do this...

It's already been a long day.

"Then, how could you know I was still here?" You asked him, sighing at his to the point answers.

Then, he chuckled at you, you looked at him oddly. "You asked me to walk you home." You blushed harshly, pinching the bridge of your nose before rubbing your temples, I need help with my memory. I can't keep doing this to people. "Bakugo and Midoriya were still here and they told me what happened." He revealed.

You laughed awkwardly. "It's been a long day, I'm sorry, Sho," you laughed sheepishly. He shook his head, rubbing your forearm comfortingly. "How long were you guys waiting anyway?"

"Only a half hour, the nurses wouldn't let us see you." Izuku answered.

"A half hour of my life!" Katsuki interjected. "Come on, wench! Get dressed so we can go home!" He crossed his arm's.

You shifted from one foot to the next, "Um, I can't leave actually," they looked at you confused. "My shift starts in a few minutes," you began to walk backwards, the closet door behind you. You opened it, "You guys know that I work with Recovery Girl."

Izuku started geeking out again, Katsuki blowing out a puff of air as he realized you weren't walking back with him. "Sorry, Sho-kun, I was supposed to go home and change when I asked if you could walk me back, but--"  you glanced up at the clock as you pulled out your lab coat. "I guess I have no time." You sighed.

Shouto shook his head. "It's fine, you have work to do."

You walked over with an apologetic smile before wrapping your arm's around him, "I'll see you tomorrow?"

He embraced you back. "Of course." Smiling lightly.

You pulled away, moving towards Katsuki, "You look like you're about to have a seizure calm down," you giggled as he glared at Shouto, he rolled his eye's at you before pulling you by your wrist so that you collided with his chest. Hugging him, leaning your head back to look at his harshly blushing face, "On for training next afternoon?"

He pulled away, "Don't be late, like usual."

You gaped at him. "I'm always early! You're the one who's blowing up the yard before I even get there."

"Why don't you just do what I say and stop complaining?"

"That would make you happy, wouldn't it?" You placed your hands on your hips, narrowing your eye's at him.

"Hell yes!"

"Then, no." You laughed as he scoffed at you.

You then jumped up in front of Izuku, throwing your arm's around him, "You're gonna tell me exactly when that letter gets there. I wanna know everything, we'll be training until them. Every morning, like usual."

Izuku looked alittle unsure even while he let his hands rest on your waist. "I don't know, (y/n)-chan, what if I'm just wasting your time. I don't even know if I--" you flicked him in the forehead. He yelped again.

"Ow! I'm pretty sure it's bruising up there," he whimpered, confused. "What?"

"You're getting one of those everytime you downplay yourself," you promised him. His eyes softened at the reminder and he smiled before wrapping his arm's tightly around you.

You giggled, before you both pulled away. "I'll see you guys later?" They all gave their own agreement. "And please try to...get along? Ok?" You knew asking was pointless but maybe they'd try?

Bakugo turned, beginning to stomp out of the hall, "Like I'd even try with these extras! Call me when you get home, wench!" He grumbled.

Shouto shook his head, before nodding towards you to which you smiled, before he turned walking out.

Izuku waved towards you, smiling widely, "I'll see you tomorrow, (y/n)-chan!" He then began began to run after Shouto, maybe to strike up a conversation.

You giggled faintly before turning, freezing as you found two boys staring at you, you raised a brow. "Are you guys waiting for--" you paused, narrowing your eye's as you seemed to recognize them. "Hold on--er, Kirishima?" You wondered, pointing to the daft haired boy who produced a toothy grin at you having remembered.

"Y-yeah! Glad you remember me!" He rubbed the back of his head. "I saw what happened, gosh, what you did out there was so manly!" He put his fist up, his eyes watering at your, er, manliness.

You raised a confused brow but took the compliment. Laughing lightly, "Oh, Thanks!"

Then, you turned slightly seeing the purple haired boy standing beside him, "You're that boy from earlier! The one that saved that little perv and the girl!" You gasped before smiling widely.

Hitoshi's eye's widened as you said that, you thought that he saved them? What the hell happened to your memory? "We never properly met," he extended his hand to you. "I'm--" he was surprised when you took his hand, interrupting him with a smile.

"Hitoshi, right?"

He was alittle stunned but was reluctant to let it show as you both let go of your hands. "I heard that girl say your name, I may be blacked out but I can get bits and pieces," you rubbed the back of your head with an awkward laugh.

"I hope you guys didn't stay because of me, it already past noon!" You looked at them guiltily, putting a hand to your cheek.

Kirishima only smiled. "The days just starting for most people, anyway. And I couldn't leave without checking up on you, first!"

"I agree," Hitoshi lazily followed off of Kirishima. "I needed to make sure you were ok, I'm glad you're well."

You blushed, "Awe, guys, I really appreciate it, thanks. I'll assume you now, that I'm great. I'm glad you guys stuck around, I'm looking forward to seeing you guys when you're accepted." You smiled widely.

Kirishima chuckled lightly. "I'm kinda nervous, but you seem pretty sure about people you meet getting in."

"I'm tell you straight forward if I didn't think you would, I promise you that." Both boys sweatdropped at that, but you giggled at their reactions.

"Kirishima, you're quirk is super strong! Literally, actually," you complimented him. "I bet you've been training really hard to perfect, I saw your moves during the exam," you admitted. "That kind of quirk must take at toll on ya, but the way you bulldozed your way through those bots was incredible!"

Kirishima perked up. " Ya think?! It's still in need of some work, I'm trying to get to my manliest, but that's why we're here right?"

You smiled, humming. "Right!"

"Oh, and Hitoshi-kun!" The purple headed boy looks at you, his lips set in a thin line, pressing them together as his pale face turns pink, as he heard the added touch to his name, you were leaning up looking at him, your eye's wide in wonder. "I'm not sure what your quirk is completely, but you totally took over me, I wasn't in control! It was so weird, yet so cool!" His eyed widened, you thought his quirk was cool?

"You--huh?" He was dumbfounded.

You giggled. "Your quirk, its like puppetry, right? That's like one of the best counters to a villain, ya know how they love to have an entire monologue."

He hummed in understanding, a hint of humour in his voice. Before he looked at you thoughtfully, he had never thought of his power that way...he guessed no one had really pointed it out like that.

"I really hope to see you guys in a few weeks! It'll be great to train alongside you!" You looked between them.

They both nodded before Kirishima chuckled lightly. "Yeah, but those guys, your friends here before us, seem to be pretty possessive of you, ya know. I doubt they'd really let anyone close to you if they could help it." He laughed cheekily.

"Especially the loud one," Hitoshi adds, his eyes narrowing at the mention of the ash blonde, they had gotten into a few arguments over the last hour, none pleasant to say the least.

You put a hand to your head before pushing your hair back, sheepishly. "Oh, sorry about them. Mostly, Bakugo. He's always like that, you might get used it," you breathed a small laugh. "I've known them for the longest so we're all pretty close, although they all have some type of unfettered problem with one another," you sighed.

"Then, it looks like you've got your hands full."

"It does, doesn't it." You and Kirishima chuckled.

Kirishima then began to leave, "I hope we can meet again, (y/n)!"

"Same here, Kiri!" You waved him off.

You smiled as he left before finding Hitoshi leaving silently, until he turned. "(Y/n)," he started, you looked at him, turning fully. The atmosphere had changed, his smile gone and his eye's darkening. "During the entrance exam, you came to help me, us," he began, your head tilting to the side slightly. "You were the only one that made a move when everyone else ran away, you--you risked getting crushed just to save us. I'm actually not sure if you didn't, I thought I killed you by making you fire off that blast, the robot came down right on top of you," his hands clenched up into fists as he recalled the horrible moment. "And yet, you said I saved them, is there something wrong with your memory or are you just taunting me because you have a physical quirk?" He turned, asking you harshly.

You raised a brow, surprised. "Why would you think I'd do that? You did save them, unless you think you leaving them to die would've been better?"

He looked taken aback at your response. "I didn't do shit! Are you just mocking me!? What are we lower quirk users--" you cut him off.

"Why can't you take what I said?" You wondered.

"What?"

"Why don't you think you saved them? I never said I didn't, because I know i played a part," you placed a delicate hand on your chest. "But, you don't seem to want any credit at all. Because if I remember correctly the only voice I could hear was yours, over all that chaos, I could hear you and not that perv or the silent breaths of the girl in the rubble," you walked up to him, shoving a finger into his chest, he stayed silent. "All I could hear was you. And if you didn't say a thing, if you ran away like everyone else, I don't think this would be a happy time," you admitted. "So, you can either accept you're a hero or reject the concept onto someone else all together, which one will it be?"

He looked at you, stunned into silence. Unable to say a word, he opened his mouth and closed it. You tilted your head seeing the wheels turning in his head, you smiled softly, straightening up. "I'll see you later, Hitoshi," you turned, taking delicate steps forward walking down the hallway. "Looking forward to seeing you at school!" You raised a hand before glancing back at him as you turned down the hall.

The boy let's a breath he didn't realize he was holding, looking down thoughtfully before smiling faintly. You were really something...
