Izuku's POV
Tomura and the others let me go a day ago. I went back to my house that I shared with Aika but nobody was there. I went to UA and surprisingly, I was met with friendly smiles and concerned faces.
They told me how worried they were and explained to me that Aika went on a trip with Class 1-A to a forest training camp. I asked them where it was and they told me all about it.
"She would be so happy to see you again." Midnight said. "Izuku...We're sorry for what we have done. We were just too selfish."
"Yeah...We were afraid of facing our own problems upfront. We were afraid to face the people, we were afraid of our reputation getting ruined, we were just afraid of what other people would think about us, what we would become." All Might explained. "We are truly sorry for pushing our problems onto you and troubling both you and Aika with our selfishness..."
"Please forgive us!" The UA staffs and teachers, even Nezu, said. They bowed their heads and I think some of them even cried.
I could feel their sincerity. I felt their regret. I felt sorrow, pain, and hope.
"...I-It's okay." I said, walking up to them. I hugged each of them individually. "It's all in the past. Everyone makes mistakes, big or small. It's just a matter of how we face them, how we solve them..."
I paused for a moment.
"And...I'm very thankful that you guys decided to mend your mistakes directly." I smiled at them, tears falling down my face. "I-I really t-thought...T-that I wouldn't b-be welcome here anymore...But I-I forgive you g-guys...And thank you..."
The teachers started to panic. They all looked so happy. I felt like I had a family again...I guess it was true...What Tomu said.
"A bond will always be a bond. It may change, it may be bad, it may be good...But once a bond, always a bond."
Aika's POV
I talked with Kota and he explained why he didn't like heroes. I felt like he was hiding something very important from me but I shook it off. I shouldn't push the kid too much.
After talking a bit more, Kota left back to the house. I think he was pretty worried about Izuku...Everybody is. But I felt a bit better after talking to the boy...
Maybe I was just in need of someone to talk to...
I sighed and went back to my training. But even as I was training, I couldn't help but worry.
Time Skip
Pixie Bob and Ragdoll provided us with food materials and told us to make our own food for today. I sighed getting ready to cook. I don't think the boys would be much help...
"We should make curry, there are enough ingredients..." Iida said.
"...I wonder if Izuku would've liked curry." Ochacho muttered.
"Hey, don't call him that!" Bakugou yelled.
"What?! You call him Deku!" Denki shouted back. "That's worse!"
"N-NO! It's not!" Bakugou yelled, turning slightly red. "I-It's a nickname!"
"What kind of rude nickname is that, Bakugou?" Tsuyu asked.
I groaned and clapped to gain everyone's attention.
"First, we should be cooking and second, to answer your question Ochacho..." I smirked as the others looked at me with anticipation. "Izuku eats any type of food as long as it is...edible. But his favorite food is katsudon..."
"I knew that before you!" Bakugou yelled, pointing at me. "Don't pretend like you know everything about him!"
"Well, I'm closer to him! He's my family member!" I laughed. "What are you to him?"
At that, everyone fell silent. I think they're feeling guilty or upset about Izuku's disappearance. I felt the same way to say the least. I sighed.
"Let's just get our dinner ready..." I said and the others nodded in agreement.
It was quite awkward and quiet when we first started cooking. I was very thankful when Mina broke the ice.
"Hmm...Why don't you make some fire, Todoroki?" Mina suggested. "It would be faster to do it that way."
"No. You shouldn't rely on others too much! Neither should we rely on quirks too much!" Momo said. "I'm going to make a fire on my own."
We just watched as she struggled to make a fire and Todoroki lit a fire for her in the end. He seemed to be sad once he started using his fire. I watched as Bakugou furiously sliced the carrots and laughed a bit. He glared at me and stuck my tongue out.
"Don't laugh at me!" Bakugou yelled.
Before he could even finish spouting his insults, he got cut off by a familiar voice. Hands covered his eyes and a mop of green hair popped up from behind him.
"Let go of me, you little piece of-"
"You little piece of what, Kacchan?"
Tomura's POV
"You guys are ready right?" I asked. "For the attack later on today?"
"Yeah..." Dabi sighed. "I miss Izuku already."
"I do too...Wait!" Toga sat up. "Back off, he's mine! I set my eyes on him first!"
"Uh, huh." Dabi shot Toga a glare. "Like I'll lose to you!"
I rolled my eyes as I shut them up. They are so childish. I can't believe Izuku, a high schooler, was so much more mature than them.
"I guess we all have competition then." I smirked. "It's not like I'll lose to wimps like you though."
"Ok boomer!" Toga laughed. "Let's see who he chooses!"
"Hey, don't you dare call me a boomer!" I yelled back. "I may be a boomer but Dabi a burnt piece of crap right here!"
"F*ck you and your ugly, wrinkled face, Tomura!" Dabi screamed, pointing the middle finger up at me. He huffed as he sat back down. "But we should be concerned about the heroes for now. I'll get my Deku afterwards."
"...We'll see about that." I turned to see Kurogiri cleaning the glass cups. "We never know who he'll choose."
"He barely has any connection with you, Kurogiri!" Toga laughed. "I hate to say it but, Tomura's the most closest to him...for now!"
"Yeah! He sent most of his time with me now that I think about it..." I mumbled. "He even told me a little about his past."
"Not fair! How come he told you about it but not us?" Toga complained.
"...I don't think you would want to know about it..." I shook my head, cringing when I recalled what he told me. "...I totally understand why it took him so long to talk about it...I'll tell you guys later."
"...Meh." Dabi sighed. "I'm going to get some rest before we go to the forest camp thingy. Byeeee!"
"You should go rest too, Toga. You'll probably be seeing Izu there." I yawned.
"Wait, for real?!" Toga yelled. I nodded, blocking my ears. "Yes! Wait...Can I bring him back?"
"...We should let him enjoy his freedom. Besides, he promised that he wouldn't leave us like this." I smiled as I remembered what he said.
"I'll come back and help you! Even if I can't stop you from being a villain, I'll try to help you the best I can!"
"Addition to that, he just left a day ago. I'm pretty sure the others would want to spend some time with him." I explained and Toga nodded. "I'm not sure about that Nezu, though. What kind of principal is he anyways?"
I frowned as I told Toga a short description about Izuku's problems right now. Toga was flaming mad to say the least. She was ready to kill the mouse thing.
After forcing Toga to get some rest, I sat by myself in the bar. Kurogiri was currently doing something with Muscular. I couldn't help but recall the times with Izuku. It was one of the happiest time of my life...Maybe heroes aren't that bad.
"Tomu! I'll be back so please wait! I'll help you get a better life so that you don't have to be a villain!"
"...I'll be waiting, Izuku." I sighed, laying my head down.
I clutched the small necklace Izuku gave me before he left.
"I believe you..."
