Chapter 16- Iona's mate?
Breyanna's P.O.V
Friday Morning at 9 am.
"Breyanna!" Lani calls
"Yeah!" I answered sleepily
"Someone's knocking on the door," Lani says in the same tone.
"Lani answer it." I groaned
"No, you answer it." Lani turns to lay on her stomach
"I hate you!" I grumble
"Love you too." Lani gave me a toothy grin
I got up and stomped to the door.
I pulled it open with a force and I was face to someone's chest
"What?" I asked moodily
"Oh! Breyanna there are guests coming today at 10," Jacob's voice cast through my ears making my heart crack painfully
"Ok!" I answer as I turn around to lock the door,
"Breyanna-" I cut him off sharply
"I am not a morning person so do not test me!" I growled over my shoulder
I slammed the door in his face and I ran back to my bed,
"Breyanna!" Lani called as I groaned in annoyance
"Shh!" I hissed as I closed my eyes ready to sleep
"But-"
"Shut up Lani."
"Breyanna we have to get up!"
"No, we don't now shh."
"It's 9:27, and the guests are coming at 10."
"So what? It's not important to me!" I got up and stomped to the bathroom.
I took a shower for 4mins then I wrapped my fluffy white towel around my body then I walked out, I saw Lani sleeping on her bed,
"LANI! GET THE HELL UP!" I roared
Lani jumped up in fright
"Go and bathe!" I narrowed my eyes and Lani chuckled nervously
I walked to my closet and took out a white blouse with little yellow sunflowers on it, and blue damaged jeans it was cut on both knees and on the thigh, I collected my white Adidas sneakers.
After I finish putting on my clothes, I comb my hair back and let it flow down my back.
"Lani!" I called
Lani walked out of the bathroom.
She had on a white Adidas t-shirt and black jeans with her white Nike sneakers: her hair in a neat bun.
"Let's go!" She says
I nodded and walked to the door, I opened it then walked out.
I started walking down the hallway on my way I saw Sese and Iona.
Sese had on a white button-up shirt with a red rose on the left side of her shirt, she folds the sleeves at her elbows and black jeans that stop at her knee, with her black Jordans. Her hair in a neat ponytail,
Iona has on a black hoodie and blue jeans, with her black jordans.
her hair in a ponytail, with her baby hair resting peacefully on her forehead.
"Goodmorning!" I said
Iona scoffed and started mumbling things like: "I have lack of sleep and you are saying good morning"
I chuckled lowly and followed an annoyed Iona and a frustrated Sese down the hallway,
We reach the staircase and there we saw Adea and Quanda
"Morning," I said Adea flipped me off and stomped downstairs moodily
Quanda nodded at us and followed Adea downstairs,
Lani and Sese literally ran into the kitchen for pancakes that were made by Jessica
I looked at Iona to see she has on an uneasy expression on her face,
"Are you OK?" I asked
Iona's P.O.V
"Are you OK?" Breyanna asked with concern gracing her face,
"Yeah," I lied through teeth because this morning I had a fuzzy feeling in my stomach,
Breyanna eyed me before nodding stiffly,
"IT'S TIME THE GUESTS ARE HERE!" A pack member yelled
I walked outside of the pack house with Breyanna and the girls on my tail, then two black SUV stopped in front of the packhouse
The first SUV car opened and Ezekiel step out, I felt my heart and breathing stop,
"Are you okay?" Quanda asked in the mind-link
"Y-Yeah!" I answered
Then the second SUV door opened and Samuel and a girl step out, and I started breathing unevenly
Then my parents step out, and I started to hibernate,
Alpha Justin walked up to Ezekiel and told him something, Ezekiel nodded stiffly
"Iona Starlight please come forward," Alpha Justin stated loudly
"Are you ready Iona?" Breyanna's voice rang through my head
"I think," I answered
I took a step forward and walk till I reach up to Alpha Justin, my mother stood in by Ezekiel side and cried as she sees my face, my father looked away. Samuel's eyes started to moisture
Ezekiel goes to hug me but I moved away and he let out a low whimper while I looked at them with a blank face,
"Why did you called me alpha?" I asked while looking Ezekiel in the eyes,
"UM.....He asked for you Iona," Alpha Justin answered
"OK! Alpha I'll be in my room so don't call me to see these pathetic people," I growled
Alpha Justin nodded before clearing his throat
"So your rooms are on the fourth-floor, rooms 1, 2 and 3," Alpha Justin said
I turned and walked back to the pack-house with Breyanna hot on my tail,
I reached my room and then I broke down my tears blinded my sight, I felt warm arms wrapped around me and I looked up to see Breyanna hair and Sese's white shirt.
Adea and Quanda walked in my room,
"It's ok!" Breyanna cooed
Suddenly my eyes lids started to feel heavy as I closed my eyes, and let sleep take over me.
