The drive is spent in comfortable silence as I direct us towards the hills once we grab some food at a drive through. The car is in park and Z has already moved to the back and grabbed the food by the time I squeeze between the front seats. Time flies by in easy conversation with my legs in his lap as I throw fries at him. "So why the drive?" He finally asks, ending the light talk. I sigh "I met with Ash for lunch today. He uhh...apologised about the single, they didn't know how to approach me about it and Calum wanted to tell me himself" his grip on my legs tightens slightly. "They drilled it into his head that it's a bad idea obviously. Anyway, long story short I have the entire album if I want it." Silence follows. "You mean, like the entire thing? "But yeah all of it, although it's not 100% that all of the songs will make the cut and all that contract stuff" I clarify, climbing over him slightly to grab the CD. "You...want me to listen to it with you?" The dread head offers. My hands continue to rummage in the compartment between the seats for a second before I find what i need.
