The halls of the school were full with with the chatter of everyone there
It was Valentine's Day and guess who's alone......me
Of course it's just my luck! Being the "shy kid" nobody liked me
My date for the dance tonight stood me up! And it wasn't even to my face,HE TEXTED ME!
Now I was just going with my friends Thomas, Virgil , Roman,Patton and, Logan
God was he beautiful, his sweet brown eyes and hair that shined when the light hit it, I'll admit it I liked him ,no I loved him so much but I was so scared to that I asked someone else

Logan's POV
I walked in to the gym, music blared all around me
I looked around to see that all my friends were dancing with someone
Except Y/N
God of all people she should be dancing not standing around being a wall flower
She looked beautiful, she was wearing a f/c dress and her hair was up in a bun (if u have short hair ignore this)
Her of all people should be dancing and having fun
And right behind me I hear someone yell "if you keep staring she'll notice ya'know"
I turn around to see y/n's Best friend star
"If you like her so much you wouldn't just sit, staring"
Star was the only one who knew I liked y/n
"Just go ask her to dance"
"Well I don't want to bother her" I tried to sound logical but it was purely a act, to be honest I was just scared she would say no
"*sigh* listen Logan keep this between us but y/n wanted to ask you out but she was to scared To ask you"
I was shocked, she actually liked me like that
"Now are you gonna get going or what?"
"Alright alright I'll do it" ok I can do this
Y/n's POV
I take a sip of my fruit punch as I watch the people dance and laugh
All of a sudden I hear someone call my name, i look over and see Logan
Welp im probably a blushing mess
"Hello y/n" Logan oddly sounded.......nervous?
"Oh hey Logan"
"I-um wanted to ask you something"
"Oh what is it?"
"Ummm I wanted to ask if you wanted to...dance?"
Holy Crap he just asked me to dance alright y/n you can do this, just say yes
"I would love to dance"
Me and Logan walked to the dance floor

Me and Logan had been dancing for awhile....it's been awkward
We've barely talked, we only talked when we apologized for stepping on each other's feet
The last song was about to end
I can't just sit here and not do anything
Okay y/n make a move
"Hey y/n?"
"Hm yea Logan?"
"I'm sorry I probably ruined the dance for you" his head hung low as he said this
"Logan" the fact he thought he ruined the dance for me was shocking to me
"you didn't ruin anything at all, to be honest this is probably the most fun I've had in a while"
As I said this I held his head in my hands and looked in his eyes
All of a sudden I had a rush of confidence and kissed him
After a bit he kissed back
After a bit i heard someone yell
"YASS Y/N YOU GET SOME!!!"
We separated and I looked to see star cheering excitingly
I guess prom wasn't as bad as I thought it be
