*Whispers*
"Hey Lassie."
"Jake? How did you get in here?"
"My sexy voice and charming looks?"
"Again, not buying it."
"Okay I may have bribed the guards with chocolate chip cookies and a sob story, but it worked didn't it?"
"...you didn't have to come here."
"Of course I had to come here. If not for your sake then for mine. I told you I never wanted to hurt you remember?"
"You weren't the one hurting me."
"Yeah well let's just say I hate the fact that anything would ever hurt you. Now scoot over."

"I know you're scared Blaire, and I'd be lying if I said I wasn't, but you're young and you're strong and you have so many people that care about you and a whole team of doctors fighting for you. I can't promise things will be okay but I can promise I'll be here for the ride, no matter what."
*Yawn*
"Jakey, why are you so nice to me..."
Blaire closes her eyes and her breathing regulates. And that's when I take the time to whisper softly.
