Thea's POV
When I woke up it was completely dark out. Rey was fast asleep beside me, and I smiled at the fact she comforted me and wanted to make sure I wasn't alone. She was such a great person and sister. She has been alone her whole life, and she doesn't deserve Luke's childish attitude.
Luke.
I got up, careful not to wake Rey, and went to Luke's hut. Entering after knocking, I shut the door behind me and faced an awake Luke with my arms crossed.
"You'll teach Rey," I demanded. He scoffed.
"No, I won't. You of all people should know why," he threw back at me and I had enough of this.
"I'm tired of your childishness, Luke. Enough of this 'i'll never teach another generation of jedi' crap. I know you're afraid, but you need to face reality here. You had one student, one, who went bad. That's his mistake and that's on him. Not everyone you teach will be like that. Look at me," I said and bent to his level. "Am I like him? I am living proof that you were an amazing teacher and didn't fail. Because you didn't fail Kylo... Kylo failed you. The sooner you get that through your head the better for all of us. We need you. My sister needs you. I need you.Not to mention, you owe me this."
He sat there for minutes in silence, going through everything that I said.
"I'm sorry," he whispered to me. I looked up at him. "I shouldn't have left you, Han and Leia. I was just so ashamed." Why was he ashamed?
"Honestly Thea... I thought you'd join him," he revealed and I furrowed my eyebrows at the thought.
"Why would you think that?"
"You're a dyad, Thea. I know you loved him. I thought he would've turned you, but I should've known better. I know how strong you are," he genuinely smiled at me and I returned it. "I couldn't leave you behind without some form of protection."
"You had those already with the force to temporarily block our dyad," I confirmed. He nodded.
"Leia told you," he said.
"To convince me to join Rey in seeking you out," I said and we actually shared a laugh. I missed moments like these. I know it would never be like before, but I did miss him.
"So, I assume the force connects you guys again. Have you seen him since you got to the island?"
"Yes, twice so far, but we can't see each other's surroundings and I made sure Rey didn't tell me where the location is," I assured him. "You know Ben is still in there, right?"
"You always had hope for him." I didn't want to argue about it, so I went back to the main reason I was here.
"Now, go out there and tell Rey you'll train her. At least try. I promise you she's a good student," I told him and he sighed before standing up.
"I missed you, Thea," he told me and I smiled.
"I am pretty amazing," I told him and he rolled his eyes before giving me a hug.
"Same Thea, as always," I laughed at his comment and watched him head out the door and over to Rey. It's time to see my sister shine.

I fell asleep in one of the stone huts, and woke up with the sunshine on my face, peaking in from one of the stone gaps. I sat up and tensed when I felt Ben once again. I looked up and by the look of his scar, he was in the hospital room. I saw him push away something, probably the care droid, and we stared at each other for a few seconds.
I felt so much anger. I was angry at him, so angry. I grabbed my blaster from beside me and shot at him with no hesitation. I saw him jump in his seat, grunting, and expected for his stomach to be shot as he put his hand to it, but he was unaffected. I severed the connection and saw that I ended up making a hole in the wall. He was still there, I felt it.
I shot up from my spot and headed out the door.
He was looking for me. I took a few steps before I turned, and smiled as I saw him slide into a hallway like a goof with a concerned but needy look on his face. I quickly frowned, trying to hide the fact that I actually smiled because of him, and when our eyes met I felt more anger.

He held his hand up to me. "You will bring Luke Skywalker to me." Was he really trying a corrupted jedi mind trick on me? I rolled my eyes.
"You really think that would've worked?" I scoffed at him and he lowered his hand. We stared at each other and I felt myself start to breathe out in anger.
"Thea, are you oka-"
"You're going to pay for what you did. All of it," I sneered at him. He looked taken back. I felt tears in my eyes, but I held my ground.
"Thea, I didn't-"
I heard a door open behind me and I turned to Luke, before glancing back at Kylo to see realization cross his face.
"Luke," he stated. I turned back to Luke as he pointed ahead of me.
"What's that about?" I looked to what he was pointing at and with the connection gone I saw he was referring to the hole in the wall my blaster caused. I walked up the steps and passed by him as I muttered "Kylo pissed me off."

I stayed behind for Rey's lesson, but not before wishing her luck and that she had this. I took the day to meditate and practice my jedi skills, knowing I needed to keep up with them since we're at war.
Before I knew it, it was the end of the day. I changed clothes on the falcon, putting a coat on as well since it was raining, and I stepped off the ramp only to turn towards the ocean and see Kylo there.
Seriously, force? What did I ever do to you?
"Why is the force connecting us more?"
"Would you leave me alone already?! You lost. We won. I reunited with Luke. Get out of this story, you've done enough to him already," I stated and he took a step back and I regretted what I said right away at the hurt that washed over his face. He seemed to think for a moment before snapping his head at me.
"He never told you what happened, did he? The night I destroyed the temple, did he tell you the real reason why?" He asked with urgency as he stepped forward.
"I think you forget I've known you.. Well, I knew Ben all my life. I know everything I need to know about you. And quite frankly I don't want to know more. That's the whole point of me being here, Kylo Ren."
"That may be true, but not everything. Ask him," he suggested with urgency and I furrowed my eyebrows for a moment. What am I missing that's so important? Does he think that it will change how I feel about him now? I highly doubt it. Then he smiled as he looked down, hands behind his back. "And you can't be trying that hard to get rid of me, Thea. The force connects may connect us, but our instincts and emotions control it. You miss me."
I scoffed. "So, you've gone psychotic as well as delusional? Huh, well that's good to know I guess," I shrugged.
"You have that look in your eyes. The look you gave me in the forest when you called me a monster, but you also have that look when I told you I loved you." I gasped and looked away from him. Just when he thought he had me I laughed under my breath before moving towards him.
"I honestly didn't know dark side assholes could still have the word 'love' in their vocabulary, but oh boy did you prove me wrong," I said sarcastically. I went silent and stared at him with a serious expression in a split second. "You are a monster." I knew deep down that I didn't believe the hateful words coming from my mouth, but being hurt, angry and on the opposing side doesn't have the same intentions.
Kylo stepped towards me slowly, looking at me as if to intimidate me, but he still managed to have my breath get caught in my throat as he was a inch away from me. "Yes I am," he whispered.
But you don't have to be.
