After the postmortem and completion of the cremation of Mr. Sinha's body, Brigadier Chandok along with other male faculty members and a few cadets return back to the academy. On their way back to the academy Brigadier Chandok's car happens to pass through the field where the fateful incident happened to take place, something he would not forget ever. He asks the driver to stop the car there.

Getting out of the car Brigadier Chandok walks towards the spot where everything had happened. Tensed Major Nair tries to stop Brigadier Chandok,

"Sir humara yahan rukna sahi nahi hai."

But Brigadier Chandok doesn't seem to have heard Major Nair at all.

Major Nair feels skeptical of getting out of the car but finds himself bound to get out of the car. But before exiting, he makes sure that no one is there around.

"Sir!"

The driver's voice skips Major Nair's heartbeat. Controlling his rate of heartbeat he asks the driver, acting to be pissed off, to hide his fear,

"Kya hai?"

"Sir ye wohi jagah hai na jahan....",

the driver trails off, gulping his saliva out of fear.

Major Nair understands the unsaid.

"Haan to?",

asks Major Nair, maintaining the pissed off tone.

"Nahi, waise hi puch raha hun Sir.",

says the driver, smiling nervously.

"Sir shayad aap sahi keh rahe hain Brigadier Sir ko wakayi yahan utarna nahi chahiye tha!",

says the driver, fearing.

Major Nair shakes his head, frustrated and unlocks the door of the car to get out of it.

"Arey Sir ab aap kahan ja rahe hain?",

asks the driver, out of fear.

Turning to address the driver, Major Nair says,

"Jahan Brigadier Chandok ja rahe hain.",

rolling his eyes he turns and walks towards Brigadier Chandok, leaving behind a terrified driver.

"Par... maine sunna hai aisi jagah par aatmayein bhatakti hain.",

the driver talks to himself more than he tells it to Major Nair who by now has gone out of earshot.

Brigadier Chandok walks to the place and stands just in front of the place where Mr. Sinha happened to have had the most uncanny experience of his life.

Major Nair keeps staring Brigadier Chandok as gets departed from the car.

👻👻👻👻👻

Time elapses.

Major Nair standing at a far away distance from Brigadier Chandok stares him, puzzled. But more than getting impatient he gets curious. Curious as he doesn't understand what is Brigadier Chandok doing standing there at the same point for last five ten minutes as if he has turned rigid.

As the impatience takes a toll on Major Nair, he decides to walk further to see what has caught interest of Brigadier Chandok so much that he has almost forgotten to return back.

Reaching him at a slow pace, a bit terrified, Major Nair stands behind Brigadier Chandok. He doesn't understand why he fails to say anything to him at all. He rather stands next to him.

Suddenly someone addresses them from in front of them,

"Arey aap log yahan kya kar rahe hain?"

What make Major Nair's every nerve ending to rise are the two reasons : first is the fact that no one could be seen there in front of them who could possibly have asked the question. And second - the voice of the person he knows well - Dr. Shalini!

Major Nair looks around as it becomes impossible for him to accept the fact that Dr. Shalini could be heard without her being present there in person.

In a state of horror Major Nair turns to look towards Brigadier Chandok but goes numb out of shock.

Brigadier Chandok without turning to look towards Major Nair, in a serious tone tells him,

"I know. Maine bhi suna!"

Major Nair, bringing out his handkerchief rubs off his sweat.

"Dr. Shalini hi to mujhe yahan haath pakad kar le ayi.",

says Brigadier Chandok, seriously, but staring in front of him throughout as if there is someone in particular he is staring towards.

When does Major Nair start chanting Hanuman chalisa, he knows not.

All he could see is the whole scenario encircling him to be running at a pace of a vampire that they show in movies or serials. Kinetic speed at it's zenith point.

If this goes on for long then he doesn't know whether there is the presence of Dr. Shalini in front of him or not but he would definitely need Dr. Shalini's help if not Brigadier Chandok.

"Sir... Sir please aap chaliye yahan se. Please.",

requests Major Nair, too terrified to elaborate to convince Brigadier Chandok further.

"Par Major hum Dr. Shalini ko yahan akela chor kar kaise ja sakte hain?",

asks Brigadier Chandok, turning to look towards Major Nair, knitting his brows as if he is finding him being ridiculous.

"Arey kahan hain....",

puzzled, terrified Major Nair, raises his voice on Brigadier Chandok unintentionally.

But soon he realizes he has crossed limits and hence trying to calm himself down as much as was possible for him in the given circumstances of horror, he says,

"Ka...han... Kahan hai yahan koi Sir? Koi bhi nahi hai.",

Major Nair fakes his smile.

"Major how can you be so insensitive to ignore the presence of your fellow faculty member altogether?",

Brigadier Chandok shows his disappointment in Major Nair, knitting his brows.

Major Nair realizes that he needs to deal with the situation calmly and doesn't have to get hyper about anything. Hence fighting with his accelerating rate of heartbeat he tries to calm himself down. At least he shows to be getting calmed down in front of Brigadier Chandok and says,

"Okay! Okay! Theek hai hum... hum Doc... Dr. Shalini se puch lete hain ke wo humare saath jana chahti hain ke nahi. Okay?"

Saying so Major Nair turns to look at his front finding no one there except for the eerie silence that is prevailing there. But for Brigadier Chandok's sake he had to do this, hence plastering a smile on his face, calming himself down he to no one; to the eerie silence he talks,

"Oh, there she is!"

He adds further, keeping his act on,

"Kya aap humare saath chalengi Dr. Shalini?"

He quickly adds,

"Nahi?",

knitting his brows as if disappointed on getting a negative reply from Dr. Shalini.

Then he turns to look towards Brigadier Chandok and tells him,

"Yein to mana kar rahi hain Sir. Nahi jana chahtin yein yahan se."

Brigadier Chandok gets sad and bows his head, lowering his eyes.

"Chaliye koi baat nahi hum chalte hain. Academy mein milte hain okay?",

Major Nair acts to be talking to Dr. Shalini again, turning to look towards his front again.

As he turns to walk towards the car, Brigadier Chandok, in all serious tone calls him,

"Major!"

Major Nair halts immediately as his tone skips his heartbeat.

He doesn't turn to look toward Brigadier Chandok but asks him, stammering,

"Ye..s... Sir...??"

"Tumne Dr. Shalini se baat nahi ki na?",

Brigadier Chandok asks in a serious tone.

Major Nair looks heavenwards and thanks god that at least Brigadier Chandok has realized that Dr. Shalini ain't here. He turns to look towards Brigadier Chandok and tells him the truth,

"Yes Sir maine...."

But before he could continue, Brigadier Chandok intervenes and says,

"Because Dr. Shalini is standing just to the right of you!",

and Brigadier Chandok stares an almost lifeless Major Nair standing in front of him as he reveals the truth to him.

Major Nair for sure has dealt with many kinds of people and situations throughout his life, but none of his experiences till date has made him to learn the art of dealing with a situation such as this one. And in a time of crises such as this one whom should he turn to - Brigadier Chandok? who himself is the reason of such a mess?

But wait is Dr. Shalini really standing behind him?

With a throbbing heart; sweaty forehead, Major Nair slowly turns to face the biggest horror of his life! And as he turns he discovers in front of him as mentioned by Brigadier Chandok - Dr. Shalini Singhal! But what catches Major Nair's eyes that didn't catch Brigadier Chandok's is her eerie smile. That smile doesn't belong to the Dr. Shalini they know, this Major Nair is sure about.

"Dekhiye na Major, main tabse inhe keh raha hun ke ye humare saath chalein hum academy hi to ja rahe hain. Par ye hain ke kuch bol hi nahi rahin.",

says Brigadier Chandok, disappointed, turning to look towards Major Nair for some moments then looking back towards apparently Dr. Shalini.

Major Nair gulp his saliva to moisten his throat as he keeps staring Dr. Shalini without blinking his eyes.

Dr. Shalini then turns to look back towards Brigadier Chandok and asks him in a tone as if mocking at them; teasing them,

"Ijjazat hai?"

Major Nair widens his eyes on hearing that. And whatever little time passes between her asking the question and Brigadier Chandok's replying, Major Nair tries to run his mind and realizes that Brigadier Chandok must reply in negative. Although Major Nair already starts shaking his head into negative but unfortunately he gets late in wording the same and Brigadier Chandok replies,

"Of course apko ijjazat mangne ki kya zarurat? Wo academy to apki hi hai, chaliye.",

and he smiles.

Hearing that Dr. Shalini smiles too.

The only person whose expression is not even close to smiling is the otherwise villain of KMA, who this time failed to plan something brilliant to save Brigadier Chandok, himself and the academy from this Dr. Shalini. He is none other than Major Nair!

👻👻👻👻👻

Shutting her laptop screen, Neelu rubs her eyes out of tiredness. She then looks towards the clock hanging in front of her on the wall and check the time - it is 2 am. She must feel sleepy but these days she seems to be deprived of sleep.

The fact that she needs to get up and turn to walk to her bed gets each of her hair at the back of her neck to rise! Her upper lips collect sweat beads as if condensation is taking place at the highest speed. She could feel the heating up of the rear part of her neck. Why the hell did she not sleep along with her roommate? That way she wouldn't have to go through this eerie feeling all over again. Even with the air conditioner on she feels like getting stuck in an arid region of the world!

She shouldn't have watched those horror movies whichever she has watched till date. Annabelle! Damn that is just a doll, just like any other doll and that too in the movie for god's sake. She rolls her eyes, trying to give herself all the strength she needs to get up and reach her bed which is barely seven-eight steps afar from her laptop desk.

But Annabelle - isn't it a real incident?

Popping up of the sudden thought in her mind takes away all of the little courage that she managed to muster throughout this whole time.

She knows if she turns to look towards her bed she would see no one other than her friend occupying her own space on the bed like each night she does and leaving ample space for Neelu to tug herself into the bed and drift into a sound sleep. The problem doesn't lie there. The real chaos is about the deep impression that gets on the bed each night since last week as if instead of two there are three people sharing the bed!

The way the mattress shakes sometimes in the middle of the night as if someone changed his or her position in his or her sleep and these are the moments subtracting the moments when her friend changes her position while sleeping. How can Neelu possibly explain that to anyone that this is a third person who is involved? And the night before the last night.... Oh! What can she do to erase the memories of it?

She kept staring at the impression on the bed. When did her eyes close on their own accord, she knew not. As she changed her position and turned towards the window side, she could feel the filtered moonlight penetrating into the room and kissing her face. But wait, what was that blockage? With her eyes still closed, she knitted her brows frustrated by the obstacle. When that carried on for further few moments, Neelu finally chose to open her eyes whilst shouting at her roommate out of irritation,

"Kya hai...."

Initially her heart skipped a beat as her eyes got hold of no one in front of her who or what could possibly become the reason of blocking the moonlight. But hell, it was still blocked!

But how could that be possible?

She kept staring the window she could surely feel the presence of someone there. The fade outline of a human figure seemed to be made up of nothing but smoke. Smoke but of colour that couldn't be exactly termed as 'white'. It wasn't milky white just the impression of white. But that was enough for her to give her the idea that she wasn't hallucinating.

The foul smell filled the nostrils of both the girls. Where on one hand a wide awake Neelu covered her nostrils to save herself from the torture but the expression imprinted on her face could give away her state of fear to any onlooker. There on the other her roommate woke up out of irritation that the foul smell was becoming a reason of.

"Neelu ye badboo kahan se aa rahi hai?",

asked her friend in irritation, blocking her nose with her hand.

Neelu got yet another mini heart attack. How she was still alive she didn't know. She turned to look towards her roommate in horror - oh! finally they were sharing some weird stuff, otherwise Neelu had started feeling that something had gotten into her head and was trying to play with her visions.

"Khidki band kar na...",

scolded her roommate in her state of dizziness.

"haan... haan...",

Neelu replied in a jiffy, clumsily.

Climbing down the bed in a state of horror, Neelu first looked around to make sure that there was no one around her but despite being able to see no one around indeed, she couldn't help herself from feeling someone's walking along with her. Walking towards the window, Neelu looked up towards the moon before shutting the window, her nostrils still covered with her hand. She smiled and made herself believe that indeed there was no one, not even outside at the garden.

Oh how good it feels when the realization dawns upon you that your fear was useless. You wasted your energy in letting your body get drained out of fear.

'There is nothing outside. I am in here! In your room!'

Did she really hear that?????

The whisper!!

She immediately turned to acknowledge whoever was standing behind her. Indeed she wasn't hallucinating. She rotated her eyeballs in quick succession left - right - left. Where was he? Who talked to her? How could any guy enter girls' hostel? And that too at that hour of the day?

So many questions got clouded in her head. She could feel her nerves thumping inside her brain. So clouded her head was that the voice of her roommate didn't get registered.

A hand rested on Neelu's right shoulder. And she shouted in horror. Without wasting another moment she turned to know who it was to teach that person a good lesson for scaring her. But what met her eyes shook her all the more she could feel her mind collapsing; it was stopping to work; she needed doctor!

And before she could think further, her friend appeared in front of her almost scarily than magically!

"What?",

asked her friend, herself in a state of horror on receiving such a reaction by Neelu.

Neelu kept staring her friend with her eyes wide opened as if she was some kind of spirit than her living friend.

"Ring gir gayi thi baba! Itni dheeli hai ye. Baar baar gir jati hai. New khareed kar isse pehnna chor dungi.",

said her friend, looking towards the ring, making a puppy face.

"Main patli ho gayi hun kya itni?",

asked her friend, wondering why had her ring gone loose.

Getting up she slowly walks towards the bed, consoling herself throughout that this night won't be like the previous night. She won't get through anything unnatural. Motivating herself as much as she could, Neelu finally gets into the bed. This was still easy as compared to the amount of courage she needs to shut her eyes and drift to sleep.

With her eyes wide open she stares the ceiling. They say if you keep staring at a point it gets easy for you to fall asleep. But Neelu can bet that she can prove this theory wrong!

The loud rumbling sound of train hits Neelu's eardrums. Neelu stirs in her sleep. Already the sleep agreed to have peace with her so late and now this disturbance to wake her up yet again. But soon her knitted brows relax as she enters into this dark, as dark as ink of colour black, alley. This alley seems to be a lengthy one. She is waiting.... she is waiting for it to end. Slowly as the time passes by Neelu gets impatient to get out of this alley. This isn't a lengthy one, rather a never ending one! Where is its end? She gets frustrated as it doesn't seem that she is approaching the end anytime soon. Her chest expands and contracts in quick succession.

Water drops get poured on her forehead - only that they are getting poured by her own skin - pouring the water drops to the surface of her forehead!!! It feels as if she is at a loss of oxygen. But she is unable to pump in the oxygen! Only if anyone could tell her that all she needs to do to get rid of this experience is switching off her mind and opening her eyes.

The loud honk of the train wakes her up with a jerk and immediately she takes in as much oxygen as she could. Breathing in and out at quick succession. She needs to wipe off the sweat beads that got collected on her upper lip. As she rests her palm on her upper lip to wipe off the sweat she removes her hand immediately in horror on discovering her hand dirty - as if she has laid her hand on grease. Grease that are common in railway stations!! This revelation makes her body to lose its energy. In order to get a grip on herself she involuntarily fists the corner of her bed sheet but hell, the bed sheet gets messed up because of the grease!

It's been hours that Rajveer and Naina have left the haunted place. Tired emotionally, mentally, physically Rajveer gets strength to drive as quickly as possible and reach the academy only because of Naina's silence that she has adapted ever since they entered the jeep. He glances towards her every now and then just to assure himself that she is really with him because the kind of silence that is prevailing inside the jeep that makes Rajveer to feel that this is one of his lonely rides!

Ever so slowly, Rajveer places his hand on Naina's shoulder and calls her out calmly,

"Naina!"

Immediately Naina jerks his hand, looking towards his hand,

"Chu... chuyiga mat mujhe. Mat chuyiye mujhe."

That comes as a shock for Rajveer. He creases his brows as he gets hurt to see her in such situation.

He tries again after all he cannot shut her down and let her deal with this supernatural experience all by herself.

Of course it is not only Naina but Rajveer too who is affected by the incident. Henceforth he won't take any such situation if described by anyone ever as ridiculous or not worth his time. But at the moment he is more concerned about her than about himself. Pondering into the feeling whatever he went through and what he felt like, he knows he needs to keep it at the back of his mind as for now.

"Naina please mujhse baat karo. Kuch kaho! Mujhe nahi samjh aa raha ke tumhare dil-o-dimag mein kya chal raha hai.",

says Rajveer, getting at the edge of his patience.

Naina staring at the laughing Buddha at the cabinet of Rajveer's jeep, drowning herself into the feeling of horror says,

"Humein aise akele nahi ana chahiye tha bina kisi ko bataye."

As ridiculous as Rajveer finds her to be to say like that, he also understands that she is deeply shaken.

"Naina wo bus ek hadsa tha. Just like any other incident that took place in our lives.",

Rajveer says, his tone reflecting his tiredness and frustration.

Naina turns to look towards Rajveer, shocked,

"Bus ek hadsa? Sir ye dusra hadsa tha!",

reminds Naina.

Rajveer goes quiet, focusing on his drive as he realizes what is she talking about.

"Pehle apko kho dena. Apse durr rehna. Aur ab jab apko wapas paya tab bhi har pal apko kho dena ka darr. Ye apko choti baat lagti hai?",

asks Naina, glaring him more out of shock than out of anger.

"Dekho Naina, we need to get out of this. Mat socho uss barey mein. Jo hua; jahan hua usse wohin chor kar agey badhte hain.",

says Rajveer, returning back to his calm tone, too tired to waste his energy in shouting at her.

Also he understands that she doesn't deserve this treatment. She needs to be treated patiently, calmly.

Naina looks away out of the side glass of the car trying to drift her mind.

Rajveer looks towards her and shakes his head. Focusing back on the drive, Rajveer plays the studio in his jeep and starts singing along, looking towards Naina at times and at times focusing on his driving.

'Khubsurat baat ye,

char pal ka saath ye,sari umar mujko rahega yaad.

Mai akela tha magar,
ban gai wo hamsafar,
wo mere sath ho gayi.

Ek ajnabi '

Naina switches off the studio, not in mood to hear music and get distracted from her thoughts.

Rajveer looks towards Naina as she switches off the studio, then completes the line,

"Hasina se

Yun mulakaat ho gayi
Phir kya hua ye na pucho
Kuch aisi baat ho gayi"

Sighing he focuses back on driving.

Something enters Naina's mind and she widens her eyes. Turning to look towards Rajveer, she asks him,

"Apko yaad hai uss motel mein jab...",

her heart skips yet another beat as she realizes what she is about to discuss with him and slowly she cascades her eyes.

Rajveer who was attentively listening to her, his eyes although ahead on the road asks her,

"Jab? Jab kya Naina?",

completely oblivious to what Naina is thinking and was about to share.

Although she understands that this is a serious discussion that she is having with Rajveer and she really wants it to keep it serious, but the incident of course cannot be said and heard without getting through the tickling sensation and everything that they felt at the heat of that moment. Naina squeezes her legs together to calm down the throbbing of her intimate area. She looks towards Rajveer and feels jealous of his calm attitude. But of course for creating havoc in his mind and get him as restless as Naina has turned at the moment, she needs to first remind him of the moment. He after all cannot be expected to read Naina's mind all the time without giving her pain of speaking herself.

Rajveer waits for her to speak, almost impatiently.

"Kya hua Naina? Bolo...",

prompts Rajveer, creasing his brows, keeping his eyes on the road.

Naina takes a deep breath and closes her eyes, calming herself down, with her eyes still closed, Naina in a single breath says,

"See hum dono mature hain. Hum dono ko apni personal life; professional life aur serious issues alag alag rakhni chahiye."

Rajveer looks towards her completely losing his mind. What the hell does she mean by that? Why would she say that?

Grinding his teeth, Rajveer lets her know,

"Naina I am mature enough to understand that. Tum ab please bataogi ke hua kya kyunki mujhe ab gussa aa raha hai.",

warns Rajveer.

Naina finally tells him,

"Hum jab saath the, tab kisi ne darwaza knock kiya tha...."

Rajveer tries to understand which incident is she pointing towards. It doesn't of course take him much time to realize. And as soon as he does realize, it doesn't take him even a moment to remember the whole incident.

"Haan to?",

asks Rajveer, getting curious.

"Sir... uss waqt jab aap... aap nahi the room mein.... main akeli khadi thi to mujhe laga....",

Naina feels extremely hesitant, shy and angry on herself for letting it happen.

She gulps her saliva, keeping her eyes cascaded and trying to calm herself but her rate of heartbeat doesn't listen to her.

Naina looks towards Rajveer and Rajveer looks towards her for some moments. Naina speaks further,

"Koi tha wahan!!! Mujhe laga aap hain."

Rajveer gets shocked to hear that. He stares Naina in utter shock.

"Tumne mujhe bataya kyun nahi Naina?",

Rajveer shouts at her.

Naina gets scared at his sudden outburst.

"Mai..n... main darr gayi thi. Samjh nahi pa rahi thi ke kya karun.",

she says, stammering.

Rajveer looks towards her for some moments and his eyes fall on Naina's neckline. He slowly, his eyebrows stitched together, with his index finger corners her hair and focuses on the bluish spot on her neck. He lightly brushes his finger on the scar, aware that it might hurt her.

Hurt she does get and hisses in pain, closing her eyes. Rajveer's eyes immediately focus on Naina's expression and in a serious tone, he inquires,

"Kya hua hai yahan?"

"Kya hua hai?",

asks Naina in confusion and turns a little towards Rajveer to read his expression.

He seems to be tensed. Naina then adjusts the rearview mirror of his jeep and gets shocked on discovering the spot.

"Ye... ye kab hua? Mujhe pata kyunki nahi chala?",

asks Naina in confusion and horror looking into the mirror to notice the mark properly.

Rajveer looks towards Naina whose back is now turned towards him in order to get a proper glance of the wound, all serious.

"Naina tumhare shareer par ye nishan hai aur tumhe hi nahi pata ke kya hua?",

scolds Rajveer, pissed off.

Naina turns to look towards him and nervously says,

"Aap chilla kyun rahe hain? Theek hai na nahi pata chala to."

"Zaroor aap hi ne kuch kiya hoga.",

she accuses, although not getting mad at him.

Closing his eyes he shakes his head. Opening them he tells her confidently, his voice still raised,

"Nahi Naina maine kuch nahi kiya tha. Aur kiya bhi ho to ye nishaan.... ye mera diya hua nahi hai I am sure. I would never hurt you like this Naina."

Naina turns to look towards him and asks him,

"To kya aap mujh par shaq kar rahe hain?",

although having full faith that he is not. After all when that doesn't make any sense - his doubting her.

"Naina...",

Rajveer begins to speak further, that Naina intervenes, her voice cold out of horror,

"Koi mere paas aya tha!"

Rajveer gets shocked to hear that.

"Haan... haan uss waqt mujhe bhi ajeeb laga tha. Lag raha tha ke wo aap nahi ho saktein.",

Naina remembers vividly.

She rubs her hand on her scar, tensed.

"Yahin... theek yahin...",

Naina trails off.

They both go numb.

"Wapas pohnchte hi dawayi laga lena.",

orders Rajveer, but his mind doesn't seem to get relaxed and he looks towards Naina again, concerned.

"Aaj kitni shanti shanti si nhi lag rhi guys?",

asks Yudi to Huda and Ali, sitting inside their room.

Huda and Ali turn to look towards Yudi and smirk.

"Haan yaar aaj subah se Shalini Ma'am bhi nhi dikhi.",

says Huda, keeping his poker face on, as if really missing her a lot.

Yudi's face glows instantly and he looks towards Huda.

"Haan yaar main bhi yahi soch raha tha.",

says Yudi, looking towards Huda as if he has gotten some power that can sense what's going on inside one's mind and heart and this has turned to be as a boon for Yudi.

"Bohot yaad aa rahi hai unki.",

says Huda, acting to be missing Dr. Shalini badly and looks towards Yudi, controlling his laughter.

Yudi who could feel the depth of Huda's words, without looking towards him replies,

"Haan yaar bohot miss....",

and suddenly Yudi realizes that they are trying to make fun of his and looks towards them before asking,

"Wait... are you guys making fun of me?",

furrowing his brows.

Ali laughs silently.

Huda laughs too.

"Dude not fair okay!",

warns Yudi to both of them.

Huda and Ali laugh further.

"Oye Alekh ruk.",

calls out Pooja walking behind Alekh.

Alekh stops and turns to look towards her.

"Bol.",

says Alekh as if doing favour on Pooja by speaking, but that's how Alekh is - moody!

He turns back in front of him.

Wrapping her arms around his upper arm Pooja walks with him and asks,

"Kahan ghoom raha hai akele akele? Baki paltan kahan hai?"

"Honge saath mein wo. Apun to aise hi ghoom raha tha.",

says Alekh, and goes quiet again.

"To tu unke saath kyun nahi hai?",

asks Pooja, gauging his mood as they walk forth together.

"Tu bhi to unke saath na hokar apun ke saath hai.",

says Alekh and looks towards Pooja.

"Naina ke bina rehne ki aadat nahi hai na. Isliye kuch acha nahi lag raha.",

says Pooja, her chirpy tone changes to a serious one.

"Kyun wo tera Usool hai na. Uska dimag kha na ja kar.",

says Alekh, indicating forward with his hand.

Pooja slaps down his hand lightly. Alekh laughs a little.

"Kahin tu apun ko Ali ko lights out ke baad tujhse milane ke liye to nahi bolne ke liye ayi hai?",

Alekh looks towards her in surprise as this idea enters his mind.

Pooja then slaps his forehead lightly, acting to be annoyed of him.

Alekh laughs.

"Dekh apun ko neend nahi ati raat ko apun manta hai par iska matlab ye nahi ke apun apni raat girls hostel mein bitaye wo bhi akele.",

teases Alekh.

"Dekh Alekh pitne ke kaam mat kar.",

warns Pooja, indicating her index finger towards him.

Alekh laughs further.

"Wo aa jayegi jaldi.",

smiles Alekh, trying to lift her mood.

Pooja looks towards Alekh and smiles. Pooja cups Alekh's face with her left hand, pressing his cheeks with her fingers, smiling.

"Chal ab tu bata.",

orders Pooja, walking further with him.

"Apun? Apun kya bataye?",

asks Alekh, looking towards Pooja.

Taking a deep breath, Pooja looks towards him and says,

"Dekh Alekh main janti hun tera aur Naina ka connection subse strong hai. Magar tu mere saath bhi koi bhi baat share kar sakta hai."

Alekh looks towards Pooja and smiles.

"Neelu se baat hui thi. Wo shayad kisi baat se pareshan hai. Aur apun ne uski baat ko seriously nahi liya.",

says Alekh, feeling sorry for that.

Pooja feels bad for Alekh.

"Kya keh rahi thi wo?",

asks Pooja, concerned.

"Pata nahi ajeeb si baat kar rhi thi. Keh rahi thi uske hostel ke kamre mein koi hai..",

says Alekh, furrowing his brows.

"Koi hai? Matlab?",

asks Pooja, confused.

"Wohich to apun ko samjh nahi aya. Apun ko to laga uske roommates ki baat kar rahi hai. Pata nahi ajeeb ajeeb baatein kar rahi thi.",

says Alekh, thinking.

"Apun ne to uski baat ko mazak mein le liya tha tab. Par ab...",

Alekh trails off, regretting.

"Ab tujhe bura lag raha hai. Apni galti samjh aa rhi hai.",

Pooja completes it for him.

Alekh stares Pooja and smiles a little.

"Baat karle usse Alekh. Call karle usse. Ruk.",

saying so Pooja brings out her mobile and forwards it to him and says, smiling,

"Ye le."

Alekh smiles and declines the phone and says,

"Apun ko sochne de pehle kaise manana hai usse. Fir baat karlega apun usse."

Pooja smiles and nods her head in agreement.

"Uff... mere ye dark circles kaise ho gaye?",

asks Dr. Shalini to herself, making a puppy face, looking herself into the mirror.

"Ye sub kuch Captain ki wajah se hua hai.",

Dr. Shalini blames her best friend, pointing an index finger towards the mirror, narrowing her eyes.

Laughing, she says,

"Koi baat nahi Captain apke liye to main wrinkles bhi chehre par bardasht karne ko taiyar hun fir ye to mamuli se dark circles hain."

She remembers Captain Rajveer fondly, smiling, and says, folding her arms over her chest,

"Captain apko wapas academy mein dekh kar mujhe kitni khushi ho rahi hai wo main apko bata nahi sakti."

"Maine to umeed hi chor di thi uss accident ke baad ke main apko firse kabhi dekh paungi.",

says Dr. Shalini, sadly.

Smiling back again, she says,

"Lekin Captain Rajveer itni jaldi haar maan jaye aisa kabhi ho sakta hai?"

Laughing lovingly, she says,

"Apne to maut ko bhi chakma de diya Captain. Waise I must say I am impressed.",

appreciates Dr. Shalini.

"Lekin mujhse zyada to koi aur impress hui hogi apse Captain.",

says Dr. Shalini, teasingly.

"Kahan hain aap Captain. Bus ab aap jaldi se ayiye aur Naina ko apne dil ki baat bata dijiye. Mujhse aur wait nahi ho raha ye janne ke liye ke finally how are you going to propose Naina.",

says Dr. Shalini, excitedly, clapping her hands.

"But apke ane se bhi kya hoga? Naina hai kahan yahan? Wo to apne ghar gayi hui hai.",

Dr. Shalini gets sad as she remembers.

"Na Naina yahan hain aur na aap!"

As soon as she says this, feeling bad about it, her heart skips a beat as her mind starts working and she connects both the situations. With her eyes wide open, Dr. Shalini indicating with her index finger says,

"Ek minute..."

"Naina apne ghar gayi hui hai.",

she indicates towards left side with her right index finger.

"Aap kahin bahar gaye hain kisi kaam se.",

she indicates towards right side with the same finger.

"Kahin....",

she quickly starts understanding the whole situation and exclaims in joy,

"Captainnnnnn Rajveeeerrr!!!!"

Clapping her hands in excitement, Dr. Shalini shakes her head in disbelief.

Frowning, she says,

"Mujhe to batana chahiye tha!"

"Koi baat nahi aap aiye wapas fir main batati hun apko ke Dr. Shalini se jhoot bolne ka nateeja kya hota hai.",

she says, determined.

Then frowns again.

"Aao!",

Dr. Shalini puts her body weight on her hands which are resting on the table and cries in pain as she gets sprain on her right wrist.

She searches her chest of drawers for the medicine to apply on her wrist and bandage it.

"Uuf... yahin to rakhi thi. Ab kahan chali gayi.",

she curses her luck whilst searching for the medicine.

Finally she gets the first aid box and applies the medicine and wraps the bandage around her wrist with a little difficulty.

Dr. Shalini sighs in relief on having finished with the bandaging.

The window of her room shuts by the wind blowing outside. Walking towards the window she opens it to feel the air on her face and exclaims,

"Wow!"

Snapping her fingers, all happy, Dr. Shalini talks to herself,

"Chalo Shalini iss mausam ka maza liya jaye. Apne cadets hone ke dino ko firse jiya jaye."

Rubbing her hands in excitement, Dr. Shalini leaves her room, locking it behind herself.

Major Nair honks the horn of his jeep to get his way through the traffic.

"Pata nahi ye log cheentiyon ki tarah gadi kyun chala rahe hain.",

says Major Nair in anger.

"Relax Major. Abhi raasta clear ho jayega.",

Brigadier Chandok tries to boost him up.

Major Nair shrugs off Brigadier Chandok's words knowing that that won't happen easily.

Dr. Shalini who was sitting at the rear seat, stares at the road, without blinking her eyes even for a moment.

Major Nair speeds up the car and rushes through the traffic, finding his way without much difficulty. Sitting next to him, Brigadier Chandok looks impressed.

"Major, I am impressed. Yahi to hoti hai ek ache soldier ki nishani koi bhi obstacle se na ghabra kar uska datt kar mukabla karta hai aur sahi raasta bhi nikal leta hai. Well done Major! Well done!",

laughs Brigadier Chandok in appreciation.

But the appreciation instead of making Major Nair feel wonderful about himself; makes him to rather wonder in horror - how did it happen? The steering wheel was surely out of his control. Who the hell then had controlled it? Major Nair doesn't understand why his mind commands him to turn and look towards Dr.Shalini.

👻👻👻👻👻

Dr. Shalini smiles staring Major Nair, a stare that conveys him that she knows that he knows her truth but she is confident that he won't dare disclosing it in front of Brigadier Chandok. Major Nair gets terrorized on receiving such stare from her and chooses to stay quiet.

After sometime the car retrieves its balance. Major Nair wipes his sweat and speeds up. Soon they reach the academy. As they exit the car, Major Nair keeps an eye on Dr. Shalini,

"Major Chalein?",

smiles Brigadier Chandok.

Major Nair gets compelled to walk with Brigadier Chandok, leaving behind Dr. Shalini.

Reaching to a certain distance, walking next to Brigadier Chandok, Major Nair chooses to turn to see Dr. Shalini and gets shocked to find her absent from there.

Dr. Shalini doesn't realize that she is being followed by someone who is the replica of hers. The moment when the spirit plans to enter Dr. Shalini's body, Huda happens to reach there and suddenly the spirit decides to captivate Huda's body and soul and that is exactly what happens!
