MIKE
It's Tuesday and as usual, I woke up and got ready for school. I ate breakfast and I left the house. I got on my bike and rode to school.
I walked to class and like always, I walked into Mr. Clarke's science classroom. I was always early.
"I need to grab something from my office. If Lucas or Dustin or Will knock on the door, let them in." Mr. Clark said leaving.
I spent 20 minutes at my desk writing down ways to tell El that I was bi.
"Whatcha writing?" Will asked as I jolted up.
"I-Uh...nothing..." I said scrunching up the piece of paper.
Will sat down next to me. I looked at him smiling. We waited as everyone filled into the room. Eventually, Dustin and Lucas entered.
Mr. Clarke entered the room and began the lesson.
Knowing that Will liked me and that I liked him back, I looked at him out the corner of my eye. I noticed that he did too.

The day went by pretty quickly. As soon as the last bell went, I raced to my locker then I grabbed my bike and rode to Hopper's cabin.
When I got there I checked the time.
3:30. Perfect!
I have half and hour to tell El before Hopper gets back.
I did the secret knock and El let me in.
"Hey! I missed you!" She said as she hugged me. I felt so bad doing this to her.
"Hey...I missed you too..." I said pulling away.
"Mike...what's wrong?" El asked. I sat her down.
"There isn't any good way to tell you this..." I said. I was prepared for her to slap me or something along those lines.
"What is it?" She asked more confused.
"I-I'm bi..." I said.
"What is bi?" El asked. I was so not prepared for this...I mean of course she wasn't gonna know what it is.
"It means I like boys and girls..." I said.
"I like boys and girls! I'm bi!" El said happily.
"Uh...no...that's not what I meant..." I said.
"No? What did you mean?" She asks.
"It means when someone like boys and girls..." I said sighing.
"So you like Will?" She asked. I was a bit taken back.
"What? Why would you—" El cut me off.
"I see the way you look at him. You both stare at each other. Besides...I kinda use my powers to spy...and I know that Will likes you too." El said.
"I hope you understand..." I asked.
"Yeah...I understand. You like Will but your with me..." She said.
"We can still be friends..." I said.
"Friends. Just friends." She said smiling. I hugged her.
"I better go. I don't wanna be here when Hopper comes back." I said standing up.
"See you later Mike..." El said as I shut the front door behind me.
I got on my bike and rode home.

I arrived home and went up to my room. I put my bag next to my desk and got into my pj's.
As I laid down I thought about Will and only Will. I felt a little guilty breaking up with El, but at least we're still friends. Besides...I want Will.
I like—no. I love Will and maybe one day...he will be mine and only mine.
I closed my eyes and fell asleep.
