"Thanks" Kuanlin said upon reaching my home.
"No problem"
"So..."
"What"
"You already have a partner for prom?" He asked.
"Not yet"
"Cool! Be mine!"
We stared at each other's face. It was an awkward silence.
"I-I mean,, be my partner for prom. Yeah"
I nodded. "Sure"
We smiled awkwardly.
"Um, bye...?"
"Oh yea. Well, bye."
I got out of the car and went into my house. Before closing the main gate, I turned around, and he was still there.
He opened the car window.
"See you tomorrow." He grinned.
