He kissed me. HE KISSED ME!

I push him away and walk to my office and lock it, noticing that Kinley was sitting in my chair doing something with files. She looked at me shocked.

"What's wrong with you?" She asked shocked by how I entered the room. She looked more scared than me.

"Umm nada, can you go in the meeting room and tell them I'll be there in five minutes." I said a little shaken up. He actually kissed me, that jerk! She leaves the room and close the door behind me.

I go to my computer to check my emails, I should be expecting a message from my floral company to tell me if they'll have white and pink roses in stock for the wedding in six months. Yes she's only giving me six months, not nine. I have to order the flowers, food, decorations, and everything else that goes with this giant wedding.

So, I know grace wanted a small wedding with only a couple people, she didn't even need me, but Blake and Damian wanted the best for her so it's going to be the biggest wedding I have ever done. I knew Grace wouldn't  be happy with the size of the venue the boys picked so that's why I showed her mine. It's a nice size, a great compromise on my part. Because I'm not here to make Blake nor Damian happy. I'm here to make Grace's dreams come true.

As I think about how I'm going to deal with these men, especially Damian, I looked through my emails. I see one from the bishop, and three from different catering company. There was also one from Williams. Who?

I click on it as Kinley comes back in. "Damian asked if you could hurry back, he has meetings to go to." As she rolled her eyes irritated I read the email. Then I realized who it was.

"Kinley, Keegan Williams asked me out on a date tonight." I got excited. She smiled brightly at me but lost it as she thought of something.

"The guys who helped you? Isn't Keegan married?"

"No, she cheated on him and he left her." I smiled, but thought of something else as well.

"Doesn't he have custody of his child?"

"yeah, he divorced her years ago." Kinley put her hand up surrendering and sat on the couch, "Well her name is Reagan, she's four and Lily's best friend."

"Cute name, but you better get in there before Damian finds out about your hot date with Mr.Billionaire." Kinley joked as I walked passed her.

"I might say no." I suggested walking to the door.

"No you won't."

"What makes you think that?" I crossed my arms before opening the door. She smiled and looked at me.

"Because you liked him even before he gave you the loan for your business, I'm your bestfriend Dia and I know all your business." She laughed as I shoved her deeper into the couch before leaving the room giggling back into the meeting room.

"I'm sorry, my assistant is being an idiot." I said realizing Blake and Damian had left, "Where's Blake?"

"He had a meeting to get too," Grace smiled, " Damian also had a meeting if you were wondering."

"Oh, I definitely wasn't." I smiled thinking of me being on a date with Keegan. My kids love him like he's their father. They're attached to him like magnets, and I love Reagan too.

"Why so happy?" She smiled looking at the binder.

"You can't tell your brother," I pointed at her with a serious face. She looked at me and put up her pinky. "I'm going on a date with Keegan Williams."

"My brother hates him Dia, you know that." She said looking sad all of a sudden.

"They're grown men now, and it was Damian's fault for kissing Keegan's prom date a week before the junior prom." I sat down, she looked at me like I didn't know the whole story.

"Yeah, because he had to show him that his girlfriend wasn't be faithful, he was just trying to help." See.

"He could've help after prom, or maybe had someone else do it don't you think?" I retaliated, "Instead I had to hear it from Caden's little friends that my boyfriend kissed her." as Kinley came in I tried to calm down my temper. Grace thinks she knows what happened but she really doesn't and it's not ok with me. she needs to learn that her perfect big brother isn't so perfect.

"Geo called about the floral stock, and I told Mr. Williams you said yes." She smiled and left closing the door. She just doesn't listen to me at all.

"She's the worst assistant in history." I laughed as Kinley came back.

"Hello Gracie."

"Hi Kin." Grace said as she left.

"But she is your best friend, I remember you found out Damian kissed Caden and you broke up with him and didn't go to prom," She teared up as I reached under the table to give her a tissue so she could finish, "Then Kinley texted everyone and instead of going to the lame prom that I couldn't  go to because you know I was only in the tenth grade, we all went to your house and watched Gremlins, ate ice cream, just us girls."

"Don't forget Leo and Carlos." I giggled sitting across from her as she laughed.

"Those idiots, how are they, do you know?" She asked.

"Um yeah, Leonardo is married to a beautiful woman with three kids, two boys and they just had a girl a couple months ago, and Carlos is also married but to Lena Arches."

"Are you serious? They're still together?" She seemed shocked.

"Girl yes, with twin boys," I smiled, "Anyways, we had the best night."

"Yeah, but then two days later you and Damian got back together and you took him to your senior prom next year." Grace said smiling looking back at the binder.

"That was like how many years ago Grace." I said as she giggled.

"Oh, you really need to talk to my brother." She said looking up.

"No he needs to stay away from me, I have a life to live and I can't do so with him breathing over me, he broke my heart and threw it away, not the other way around." I calmly told her.

"Come on Dia." She whined.

"Grace, you weren't there when he kicked me out, you didn't feel the pain that flowed through my veins," I felt a tear roll down my cheek to only realize that I was crying, "He didn't hear me out, he called me things, I was the woman he supposedly loved, I was his wife."

"But he wants to talk to you, to tell you what happened."  She stood up trying to prove her point more. She doesn't know how he talked to me that day. I didn't do anything wrong to him, I loved him. With all my heart. He was my everything, but now my babies are.

"I don't care, he had no reason to kick his wife out, it was our house." I got louder. She thinks she knows what happened like she was in the kitchen listening or something. She wasn't, she knows her brother, yes, but she doesn't know our relationship.

"Why'd you leave so easily then?!" She yelled.

"I was too tired to fight back, I had problems of my own other than his nonsense." We were just going back and forth, fury running the both of us. She thinks I should give her brother another chance but I know what he did to me, AND SHE DOESN'T!!

"Nonsense, someone told him you were cheating on him!" She yelled.

"And he chose to believe them and not his wife." I calmly said trying to control my temper. I have to go pick up Bubba tomorrow and I can't have Damian and his crazy family messing up my family I worked so hard for. When Lily was born she could've had a birth defect. If I didn't work my butt off and if I didn't have Keegan, Lily wouldn't have made it. He saved her and me. That's why I'm so happy Lily is so smart and outspoken, because I wouldn't of had her.

I didn't even realize that I was crying now, " I'm sorry Dia, I didn't mean to make you cry." She came around the table and hugged me. I broke down into tears. Hot painful tears, and only I knew why. The tears and the pain that came with them wouldn't go away until I gave my truth away.

Right now, "I still love him." I whispered in her ear.

TWO DAYS LATER

"Shhhh, it's ok Bubba." I rocked back and forth in a rocking chair. It was 9 pm and Olly and Lily were just watching me rocking Bubba with wide interested eyes.

"Mommy, what's his name?" Lily asked desperate.

"Yeah, he's been here for a whole day now." Olly ended off.

"Well we have to wait for aunt Callie to get here tomorrow and Keegan," I say putting bubba in his crib, "Now come on, you guys have a big day tomorrow."

"Like what?" Lily said getting up and helping Olly too.

"We're going out all day with Keegan, the park, the movies, and ice cream." I smiled as they cheered. I shaved them and walked out the room behind them.

"I can't wait for mommy." Olly jumped.

"I know how you feel baby," I smiled at the thought of being with Keegan all day playing with the kids. They love him and he loves them very much, it'll be great, "Ok to bed with you gremlin's."

As they came for their kisses, I felt fulfilled. They went straight to their rooms and I did the same. Waiting for Bubba to cry. Yes, I have no hope of sleep tonight. He's only one year old and in a new environment.
