All heart breaks are not open

Nor all wounds shallow,

The biggest wound of all

Is the heartbreak we swallow, 

In silence without a murmur

Or a word of protest...

Every weeping eyes aren't seen

Nor all tears stream,

The tears that hurt the most 

Are the ones we just keep,

Away from the prying eyes

Hidden in our sighs...

All laughter isn't real

Nor every smile sweet,

The biggest laughter is the one

For which we have to

Sometimes dig deep...

Every tinkling voice isn't happy

Nor every tone gay,

The hardest part of all is to

Speak when you do not want to say...
