You were injured on the latest hunt against demons. Being stabbed by an unknown blade, that prohibited Cas from healing you. The wound would soon send you into a coma.
Sam was busy researching the blade, hoping to figure out what it is, while Dean was trying to locate the remaining demons from the hunt, and Cas was looking for a spell to help heal you.
No process had been made. Dean couldn't find the demons, Sam couldn't find out what the blade was, and without knowing what the blade was Cas couldn't find a healing spell.
"Come on! There has to be something! What about Rowena? Have you tried contacting her?"
"She said she'd look at it in a few days"
"We don't have a few days!"
"Dean, we're doing everything we can. We just have to wait"
