imagine a new life,
with a backyard full of kids,
and a loving wife.
No, it's not you and I,
the possibility doesn't exist,
stop thinking about us,
what you got to do is resist.
Resist the thought of us,
us ever being together,
it's not going to happen,
forever equals never.
You try to make this work,
but I have more issues,
than Vogue or People,
"Don't hand me a tissue."
Trying gets old after a while,
after you realize that there's no chance,
you and I don't exist,
and no, there's not a guy named Lance.
Imagine a new life,
we're a lie,
forget about us,
so darling close you eyes.
