Joong's POV
"1, 2, 3, 4 and turn, step right, then forward! Nong Gulf! Focus! Again!" We groaned as P'Nam (the dance instructor) yelled at us to repeat the dance all over again.
It's already 5pm, we are already done with the steps but they said that we still need to polish them. Why is dancing so damn hard?!
"Joong, i can't do this anymore. My feet and arms are hurting, and i smell so bad." Earth, who was beside me complained as we continued to dance.
I laugh at him, "You wanted this, Earth. Don't complain. Besides, your soulmate is watching you like a hawk." The doctor gang's actually sitting in the bleachers in front of us. Of course, aside from P'Ben being the campus moon last year, he is here to watch over Earth. Like always. I mentally rolled my eyes.
"You two! What are you talking about?" We straightened our posture as we got scolded by P'Nam.
Earth and I looked at each other and shook our heads, "Nothing, P'. Sorry." I replied.
As we focused on dancing, i couldn't help but stare at P'Nine. He's currently roaming his eyes around and scanning the place. He looks so cute and tiny beside P'Ben and P'Dome. I want to pinch his cheeks but i'm pretty sure i would get a black eye in return.
So, instead of thinking how tired and sweaty i am right now, i decided to just watch P'Nine. How his eyes would travel back and forth, or how he played with his fingers, how he bounced his feet up and down, how he laugh at the things that P'Dome said, how he wiped the sweat that's running down his forehead. Everything about him just screams perfection. I'm lucky to have a soulmate like him.
I didn't know that the practice ended until Earth clapped his hands in front of me making me startled.
"Oi, stop staring at P'Nine. Our practice just ended, we can go home now." Earth shook his head at me and walk to where P'Ben was sitting.
I made a 'tsk' sound and turn to grab all my things. But, before we could all exit the room, P'Nam spoke.
"By the way! Before you go home, There will be a solo performance from each and everyone of you at the competition. So, i need you to think about what you're gonna do so that we could prepare the props that you will be needing. I need you to tell me by tomorrow, understand?" WHAT?! a solo performance?!
All of us were shocked and some started to whisper complaining about the said news. Then, the representative of the Business Administration faculty, P'Shan raised his hand to speak.
"But, P! We only have a few days left to practice! Approximately, 4 days. Some of us may not finish practicing by that time." We all nodded and agreed to what P'Shan said. It's true, the competition is getting nearer and they only mentioned about this now. Ohmygod, what am i gonna do?!
"Well then, make those 4 days count and be productive." With that, P'Nam turned around and fixed her things.
We groaned and some ran after P'Nam to further complain which i'm sure that wouldn't work, while the others just rushed to go home.
"Joong!" I turned around and saw Earth gesturing me to come towards him.
I bit my lip and hesitates. Should I? My eyes shifted to P'Nine who was surprisingly already staring at me. My heart suddenly started to beat faster. Damn.
I slowly walk towards them," Sawadee, P's. Earth, did you want something?" I purposely tried to avoid staring at P'Nine. Yes, I said that i won't give up on him. Yes, i said that i will fight for him. But, right now i feel so shy. Where the hell did my confidence go?
Earth sat down beside P'Ben and placed his hand on P'Ben's left thigh.
"Did you think about what you're gonna do on the solo performance? I think i'm gonna play piano and sing." Oh yeah, Earth is really really good when it comes to playing piano. Ever since he was in elementary, he would stop by at the music room for an hour after dismissal just to play piano. It took me 2 months to get used to it, though. I mean, i would just sit there and count the ants that were passing by the small window.
"Maybe i'll sing. Because, i can't dance for sure." I answered while they chuckled. Then, Earth nodded and gave me a thumbs up.
"That's true, you dance like a duck." P'Nine butted in.
I raised my eyebrows at him, "Oh really? Wait 'til you see me sing, then. I'll make sure you'd fall for me." I winked at him and he immediately pursed his lips. I smirked at that.
The others whistled and teased P'Nine, "And that's a point for Joong Archen, everybody!" P'Dome laughed and clapped his hands.
"Whatever, i'm gonna head home." P'Nine rolled his eyes and pack his things up.
This time, i decided to follow him. I'll always follow him.
"I better go now too. Bye P's! Bye earth! See ya!" i waved at them goodbye then i ran after P'Nine.
"P! Let me hold your things!" I tried to snatch his books from him but he swats my hands away.
"Joong, i have my own hands. Stop it." He glared at me and then he abruptly stopped in his tracks.
"Sht, Dome is my ride home." He cursed and ruffled his hair in frustration. I smirked internally. Chance.
Before he could turn back, i grabbed his hands.
"Let me take you home, P'" i softly said, similing at him.
He looked at me and then at our joined hands before he harshly pulled his hands away, "No thanks. I better go with Dome."
"But, P. We're already outside. I promise i won't do anything stupid! I just want to take you home. Let me take you home, please na." I clasped my hands together and pouted at him. I blink my eyes in a cute way to add more effect.
He stayed silent for a while, maybe a minute or two. Then, he sighed heavily and nodded his head.
"Fine, whatever." I squealed and clapped my eyes. He agreed!
"C'mon, P! Let's go!" But, before we could walk again...
"Is that Josh?" I looked at where P'Nine is pointing and saw P'Josh standing beside the bus stop sign.
Oh no. Not this time. Please.
I laughed awkwardly and tugs at P'Nine's shirt, "Uhm, P'Nine! My car is over there! Look! C'mon!" I tried to get him to walk where my car is parked but he didn't budge. He just kept on staring at P'Josh.
"Joong, what if—We can just also drop him off, right?" My breathe hitched and started to grip at P'Nine's shirt harder. I knew it.
No. I don't want to P'Nine. Am i a bad person if i say that i only want this time to be us?
I smiled and ignored the way my heart aches, "Ofcourse, P. C'mon let's ask P'Josh." I can never say no to you,P. I can't.
As we walk towards to where P'Josh is standing, i called his name. "P'Josh!"
He turned to look at us and he smiled immediately. When we're a step apart from him, i asked. "Are you going home na, P?"
"I am, nong joong. I'm just waiting for my bus. What about you guys? You're Nine, right? From the medical department?" P'Josh turned to look at P'Nine who's eyes widened. He was probably shocked why P'Josh knows his name.
I feel like i'm third-wheeling. What did i get myself into?
"Y-yes. Nice to meet you, Josh." I feel jealousy rising in my body when i saw P'Nine's cheeks turning red. P'Josh isn't even doing anything but he makes P'Nine's heart flutter. While, me....I sigh internally.
"You too, Nine. Anyways, did you want anything?" P'Josh smiled. Whenever he smiled, i feel like a bad person. He's so kind but here i am wanting to punch his face for making me jealous. I am a bad person.
I snapped out of my thoughts when P'Nine intentionally coughed.
"Oh right. Uhmm, you can ride with us P'. Since, we are going home and all, you can come with us."
P'Josh seemed hesitant at first, "Are you sure? Wouldn't I be a bother?"
A bother? Why would he be?
"It's okay, P'. It's getting dark also. Come on." I offered him a smile. This time it's sincere.
"Alright. Thank you." I walk ahead of them so that i could show them the way. But, as we walk, i think they're getting closer to each other. They talk about random things I didn't know about and laugh together.
I felt my heart clenched as i listened to them. I tried to keep my tears from falling. I cannot cry. Not here.
"We're here!" I stopped right infront of my car and tried to be enthusiastic.
I should come in terms that this is how it would be now.
They both got in, P'Nine in the passengers seat and P'Josh sat on the back.
"P'Josh? Where am i gonna drop you off?" I asked him while putting on my seatbelt. Completely ignoring the tension that is building up inside the car.
"Oh, at the Star High Apartment. It's just near the Mall." P'Josh answered.
P'Nine suddenly squirmed in his seats and turned to P'Josh with a surprised expression, "Really? I stay at Moon King Residences. We're neighbors!" They both laughed and high fived each other.
I bit my lip and diverted my eyes on the road.
I forced a chuckle, "Okay, P's. Buckle up. Time to go."
Before, I started to drive. I glanced at P'Nine. He was smiling so hard that it made my heart aches again. I wasn't the cause of it.
Throughout the roadtrip, I turned the music on but it was a terrible choice. I couldn't do anything about it because P'Nine was singing along and his voice was heavenly and angelic that I couldn't turn it off.

They say that we can all be reincarnated, or that we have atleast 7 lookalikes in this world. I wonder...Did Joong 2.0 already found his own soulmate? Or Did Joong 3.0 already got married? Maybe Joong 4.0 finally found his Nine in their world. Maybe all the other versions of me are already living their happy lives. Then, i'm happy for them. I'm really happy.

As i stole another glance at P'Nine. I started to question fate,
