I'm holding hands with Eddie! I squeeze Eddie's hand. I'm careful to not squish his hand. We get many dirty stares, I don't care. When we get to the store, we get anything we need. We pay and walk back to my house. I can see Eddie tear up. I keep him outside so I can talk to him.
"What's wrong?" I ask.
"My Mom doesn't want me hanging out with you and Beverly. You guys are my only friends!" Eddie yells. I hug him and he smiles. When we head inside we start to make brownies.
