Kai
Kai knows about your mother. He's known since the second you two met. He thought it might be a good idea to teach you to defend yourself.
"Ok Y/N, throw a solid punch" Kai says as he steadies the punching bag. You punch hard, throwing your wait into the punching bag "again" he says
"Your going down punching bag" you trash talk
"Your gonna wanna work on your trash talk before you get into a real fight" Kai laughs. You punch the punching bag until your knuckles are bruised
"Ok, now try to dodge my punches" he says
"Wait wha-!?!?" He doesn't give you time to finish before he starts throwing punches at you. He ends up chasing you around the training room and tackling you to the floor. both of you laughing like crazy.
Zane
Zane has asked you a few times to let him teach yo how to fight. You said no because you believe that violence is never the answer, but Zane still asked. One day you finally give in.
He is teaching you how to throw shurkins.
"Concentrate Y/N. Think about the shurkin hitting the target in the middle" Zane says as he throws his shurkin. it hits the bullseye
"I will try" you say. You close your eyes, opening them just in time to see your shurkin hit the wall beside the target. you hang your head in disappointment
"You will get it. It just takes practice" he says. Zane positions you and tells you to throw. You miss again, and again, and again
"I will try one more time" you say and pick up the shurkin. You position yourself like Zane taught you to. You close your eyes, aim and throw. You open your eyes and see that you almost hit the bullseye
"I hit the target Zane!! I hit it!" You tell and hug him. He laughs; something that he rarely does.
Lloyd
You and Lloyd are in the training room at the monastery. You are not a ninja (yet), but Lloyd wants to teach you how to defend yourself. Your excited to be learning from the gold/green ninja.... but due to your clumsiness your not doing very well.
You try to walk across the balance beam while trying to dodge balls. You stumble and fall to the ground
"Ugh! I give up! I can't do it!" You yell in defeat
"Y/N, don't worry, you'll get it" he says. You get on the balance beam again. And fall again. You and Lloyd train all day.
Cole
Cole is teaching you how to fight, just in case your ex shows his face again.
"Ok; punch..... kick..... punch..... kick...... punch" Cole says. You have been punching this dummy for two hours!
"Cole this is getting boring and my knuckles hurt. Can't we do something else" you ask and look to your bruised knuckles
"Ok it's time to practice your swordsmanship" he says and hands you a sword. He grabs a sei off of the wall. He charges at you. You drop your sword and run out the door. Cole chaises you back into the training room and corners you.
Jay
You and Jay got bored. Him being the genius that he is suggested that he try's to teach you how to fight
"Ok" you sigh and worry about what's going to happen
"Here" Jay hands you his nunchucks and lines you up with the training dummy. You hit the side of the dummy and the nunchucks bounce back and hit you in the side
"Oof" you let out at the impact knocks you back
"Oh ya. hehe, I shoulda told you that they bounce back until you get used to them" he says and smiles apologetically
"That woulda been a good thing to know" you say and look at him, than at the nunchucks in your hand. You smirk and raise them into the air. Jay gets the memo and starts running, you laugh and run after him.
