i glared at sam for no apparent reason, just out of the corner of my eyes.
i could see fire squinting at me as she cocked an eyebrow, leaning back against the couch with her arms crossed.
"sam," she sighs, "are you going to deal with your best friend or not?"
the blonde looks up from his laptop to me, catching me glaring in a manner that was slightly obviously joking. he smirks and rolls his eyes.
"stop looking at me like that unless you want me to kiss you." he says smoothly.
fire cracks up laughing, nearly falling off of the armchair. i jumped off the couch, my face red and too warm as i ran upstairs to my room.
"i called it! i fucking called it!" fire screeches before falling back into a fit of wheezing.
