Jade's POV
I felt faint movement on my back as I slowly opened my eyes only to come in contact with a bare chest.
I looked up to see Dax smiling at me as he continued rubbing my back.
"Good morning, princess", he kissed the top of my nose as I covered my mouth to hide a yawn.
"Whatever happened to muffin", I mumbled as I snuggled closer into his chest and closed my eyes.
He laughed lightly and his chest slightly vibrated due to the effect.
"Wake up, muffin. It's noon", he said as he ruffled my hair.
"I'm very tired. Dancing all night as taken a serious toll on me", I spoke in a muffled voice as my mouth was pressed into his chest.
"Come on, we barely danced", he said making me roll my eyes at him.
"Says the one who dance all night", I retorted and he chuckled.
"Let's go have lunch, Mrs Langford", he said as he kissed the back of my hand.
"Sounds good", I said before leaning in and kissing him.

The entire day was spent with our family and friends who joined us at lunch at the Langford residence, my new home.
Throughout lunch, Dax hasn't left my side. He's constantly been holding my hand or my waist.
Our dads signed the agreement to collaborate their business and they're officially business partners which was another call for celebration.
The greetings, gifts and wishes were still pouring in from our special day; yesterday.
I noticed Fizzy and Pierre spend a lot of time together this afternoon. Things seems to be a little interesting between them.
Jamie who was tired of being a third wheel at some point of time walked up to a very bored Alex and were soon conversing.
The Langford residence was bustling with celebrations and conversations followed by a delightful luncheon.
After lunch everyone left back home including my parents.
Dax and I returned back to our room and plopped ourselves on the large bed.
"Muffin, I'm really busy this week, so let's go on our honeymoon next week?", Dax spoke as he took my hand in his.
I turned to look at him and he was already looking at me.
"Alright, that's not a problem", I smiled and he smiled too.
"Choose a place, love. Wherever you want to go", he said as he intertwined our fingers.
"Fly me to the moon and me play among the stars", I sang, trying to sound romantic.
"Alright, let me go find some friends at NASA", he said and we laughed.
"But tell me seriously, where do you want to go?", he asked.
"Um, I'd like to go to Brazil", I said after a moment of thought.
"Brazil? Why Brazil?", he questioned.
"I've always wanted to visit Brazil. I've read and heard that it's a very humble and beautiful country", I simply said.
"Alright, but it isn't a romantic place", he said.
"It doesn't have to be a romantic place", I said as a matter of factly.
"But we're going on our honeymoon so it has to be romantic", he whined making me laugh.
"Well, I don't really know of any romantic places", I smirked.
"I do, I do know", he smiled.
"St. Lucia is the best place to visit on a honeymoon", he said proudly.
"And how do you know that?", I asked.
"Because I looked it up in Google", he smiled and pulled me in for a kiss the umpteenth time today.

Currently, we were out on the streets because I wanted to try out street foods.
Dax wanted to dine at some fancy restaurant, but then here we were.
"I need two beef hotdogs with extra mayo and cheese", Dax said to the man who stood behind his cart.
"Coming right up", he said as he got to work.
"Sure", Dax mumbled with a grumpy look on his face.
The hotdogs soon arrived and were devoured by us.
We walked down the street with carts on either sides of us as we tried out some more food.
I tried kissing Dax quiet often so that he wouldn't be as grumpy as he was, but he would just turn his face around and act like an irritated kid.
At the last cart which was at the end of the street we had some really spicy dumplings and Dax wanted to drink water because of the spicy food.
"Muffin, I really need to drink water. This is too spicy", he said as he coughed.
"The man with the drinks is right at the start of the street", I said.
"Well, if you want to make it up to me go and get me water because I'm not walking through this crowd again", he said biting his lower lip.
"Alright, I'll go get it", I shrugged and turned around.
I quickly turned back and kissed him before walking to the other end of the street.
I watched him smile and I knew I had already made it up to him.
I walked into the sea of people as they began to surround me.
Dax's POV
I watched as Jade walked away to fetch us some water.
I felt guilty for sending her through the crazy crowd, but also loved how she showered kisses on me.
I'd kiss her to no end as soon as she'd return.
I decided to follow her because it was just too crowded, so I quickly rushed as I recognised her a few feet in front of me.
I kept my eyes on her as I pushed people past my way in attempts of getting closer to her.
Someone dashed me and I looked up to see a stern looking bearded man.
"Sorry", I said as I turned to look at Jade who wasn't in sight anymore.
I turned around to see that the man who dashed me had disappeared too.
I pushed myself farther into the crowd in search of her but couldn't find her.
Once I made it to the end of the street there wasn't any trace of her.
I looked all around among the strangers to find my wife only to be disappointed.
A black SUV rashly drove on the road across me and almost missed hitting a car, but that wasn't what I cared about.
I cared about Jade and she was gone.
All because of me.
