That damned time of the year again.
That time when the germs are floating around and they decide to land on a random, innocent person, turning them into their victim.
And coincidentally much, you were that random person.
"I'm sick, Tooru" you said again with a nasal voice. "Tell Sassan that I can't come today and that I'm sorry--"
"Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait" said Mutsuki when you wanted to close the door to your room and go back to bed. "Do you really think I'm gonna leave you alone for the whole day? When you're sick? Never"
"Tooru, c'mon" you tried to reason with him, but he wasn't listening and picked you up the bridal style to carry you to your bed. "Mutsi, you'll catch the cold from me"
"We're either healthy together or sick together" he said, placing you on the bed before he covered your body with the comfy, fluffy blanket
"But Sassan--"
"Sensei will understand" your boyfriend interrupted you, smiling warmly at you. Goddammit, you couldn't even be mad at him when he was like... this
"Screw you, I can't be mad at you" you muttered, turning your back at him as he awkwardly chuckled
"Did you take medicine?" He asked as he sat down on the bed to cuddle with you
"I did" you replied, hiding your face that was burning either from the fever or embarrassment or even both
"Did you really?" He asked, a little unsatisfied with your answer
"Are you calling me a liar?" You asked, turning to face him, but he stopped you, holding you by the waist as your back was facing him
"I just want to make sure that you're going to get well soon" he said as you blushed harder, not knowing if it was because of him or the fever, or even both
"You smooth jerk" you muttered as he hugged you tightly. "...I love you"
"Love you too, dear" he whispered softly in your ear before he kissed you on the top of your head, making you feel soft all of a sudden
"Hey, Tooru?"
"Yeah?"
"Will you cuddle with me for the rest of the day?"
"Of course, my love"
"B-but... Will you cuddle with me for the rest of my life?"
By now, Mutsuki's face was as red as a tomato as you just literally proposed to him, but you, being an airhead from time to time, didn't realise it at first.
"W-wait, Tooru--"
"I-I would love to" he muttered as he tried to hide his blushing face in strands of your [H/C] hair
Time skip
The next day
And instead of making sure that you'll get better soon, Mutsuki caught the cold from you. So the two of you were now lying in your bed, hugging each other under the warm blanket as you tried to talk with each other to kill some time, but instead you either had voice cracks, a high pitched voice, a too nasal voice or no voice at all.
On the other hand, when the others were out or at work, in charge of the two of you was, surprisingly, Urie. But Urie being Urie, of course, he tried to say no at first, until he had no other choice, but to say yes.
The tall man with dark purple hair came into the room with a box of medicine, wearing a medical mask to avoid the germs in that room and a scowl on his face, looking at Mutsuki like he was kinda disappointed.
"You had ONE job" said Urie, looking at Mutsuki who was facing him with his back
"Maybe..." started Mutsuki, having a nasal voice. "Maybe if we stay like this and don't move... We won't see the disappointment on his face"
"Jokes on you" you replied in a whisper. "I can't move at all"
"(I'm surrounded by idiots)" Urie sighed frustrated before he left the room
Guess Mutsuki was right.
You two either are healthy together or sick together...
