Three days later
Blair's POV
The last few days went by like the wind. We went sightseeing and I was not disappointed by what I was witnessing. Everything here looks like straight off paradise.
The perfect weather with the occasional drizzle was my favourite. It brings a wave of freshness as we wandered around in this picturesque surrounding.
Coming back to the present, we are now just relaxing along the beach. The boys were enjoying the salty blue water, only a few meters from where I was.
As for me, I was laying peacefully on beach lounger, trying to get some color under the scorching sun. With my sunglasses shading my eyes from the harsh sunlight, I went through the pages of my thick book.
Completely oblivious of my surrounding, I was abruptly disturbed when I felt my book get knocked out of my hands out of no where. Wasting no time, I sat up to see a volleyball laying next to me.
Sliding my sunglasses onto my head, I looked around to find the person who threw the ball. I caught sight of a tall blonde making her way to me. Her silky hair was swaying from side to side as she jogged her way to me. She had the body of those stereotypical instagram models, with her long legs and defined abs.
"I'm so sorry," she said with a huge smile as she pointed to the volleyball.
Bending down, she picked up my book which I completely forgot about.
"Oh don't worry about it," I said as I passed her the volleyball.
"I'm Scarlet by the way," she said as she shot me a killer smile.
"I'm Blair. It's nice to meet you."
I watched as she was fiddling with her fingers and occasionally she would push loose strands of hair off of her face.
"Also you look beautiful... I love that bathing suit on you," she said.
Looking at my plain swimsuit, I couldn't help but smile at the compliment.
"That's so sweet of you... You look amazing as well... I mean have you seen your body," I said as chuckled.
Caught off guard, I noticed how her eyes were sparkling as she was smiling at me. Not really thinking much of it, I smiled at her.
"Well I do my best to maintain it... Anyways, I was wondering if um maybe you would like to go out... Like dinner maybe," she said as she gave me a nervous smile.
The smile I had on faded away as I felt my cheek heat up upon hearing her words.
Well that's a first, I thought to myself as I stared at the goddess standing in front of me.
"I'm actually married," I said as I gave her a tight smile, lifting my left hand and showing her my ring.
"Oh well that's awkward. I was really looking forward to getting to know you," she said as her stares were piercing through me.
"I'm really sorry," I said.
"Don't sweat about it... I better get going. In case you change your mind, I'm staying in room 4810 for the next week," she said before winking at me and finally walked away.
My mouth was hanging open as I watched her figure distance from me slowly.
"What just happened," I asked myself as I felt my mouth run dry.
I was just frozen in disbelief for a few seconds as I took in what just happened. Just then, the boys were making their way out of the water.
Instantly, my gaze fell on my dear husband. He ran his hand in his hair causing it to stick back. The salt water was dripping down all over his well built body. Without a doubt, he caught the attention of people around but he didn't even seem to notice. I couldn't help my eyes lingering onto his bulging muscles and down to his perfectly sculpted abs.
"The water was so nice. You should have come, Blair," Cyen said as I handed him his towel.
"Why do you look like that," Stephan said as he frowned.
"Like what," I said as I tried to calm down.
"You were blushing... Your cheeks are red," he said as he pinched them.
"It's nothing... I just got hit on," I said, mumbling the last part.
"You got what," Cyen said as he looked at me in disbelief.
"Oh stop lying. No guy came up to you... I just saw that really hot girl come and talked to you," Nathan said as he had both his hands on his hips.
I let them take in what Nathan just said for a few seconds so that they could get what I meant. As they finally got it, they all looked at me with their mouth opened in utter shock.
"Oh that's hot," Nathan said as he smirked at me.
"That's my wife, you idiot... She is my sister," Cyen and Stephan grunted respectively before hitting Nathan on the head.
I couldn't help but laugh as I watched the three idiots glaring at each other.
An hour passed by as we continued talking. Nathan was his usual annoying self as he couldn't keep himself from adding his small sarcastic comments every now and then.
"Oh oh, you remember when the Lennox boys used to scare away all the guys who would try to approach you," Stephan said as he shook his head.
Sighing, I felt all the memories of my past coming back to me.
"Oh boy... Don't even get me started. I regret having all of you in the same school. No boy would even want to talk to me," I said as I groaned.
"Well that's understandable. Have you seen you face," Nathan said as he smirked at me.
I looked at him in disbelief as my lips slightly parted.
"That asshole," I thought to myself as I glared at him.
"Nate," Cyen said in a dangerous tone while glaring at him as well.
"Anyways, I could never even go on a decent date without Knox terrifying the guy to death before," I said as I shook my head.
Stephan was laughing.
"The Lennox can be real scary," Stephan said.
"Good thing that you at least were able to go on that date with Fitzgerald the other day," Nathan said out of blue.
"Shut up Nathan, that wasn't a date. We were just talking... Besides you were there," I said as I smack his arm in annoyance.
"You went on a date with Fitzgerald," Cyen asked as he looked at me menacingly.
"Did you even listen to me at all? I said it wasn't a date," I said, yelling the last word in his face.
Cyen didn't even flinch by my action but he simply turned to Nathan swiftly.
"And you were there with them? What were you doing with them," Cyen asked in a harsh tone as his face was taunt.
Shaking my head, I hid my face in my hands as I groaned in frustration. Stephan was clearly enjoying the whole ordeal as he was trying his best to suppress his laughter. Well it's good to know that at least someone is enjoying my misery.
"What are you yelling at me for? You should be thanking me. I was there to keep an eye on her," Nathan said as he pouted.
"What an infuriating child," I thought to myself.
"I don't need a babysitter.... Unbelievable," I said as I was done with all this bullshit.
Not wanting to stay there for another second, I got up and walked away with the excuse of going to get a drink. If I stayed there just a few seconds more, I would have probably done something that I would regret later.
Walking away, I took in deep breaths as I tried to calm my nerves. Sometimes I feel like just strangling him.
Nathan's POV
"Listen, I know Blair... She loves making friends and I know she is telling the truth," Stephan said as he looked at me.
"I'm not doubting that at all. Anyways, you were being a dick again... You better go and apologize to her right now," Cyen said as he glared at me.
I can't believe him, I was just looking out for him.
I just rolled my eyes and sat back. Sighing, I put on my sunglasses.
"You better get to her," Cyen said as he had a blank expression on.
"You guys are real pain in the ass," I said as I finally got up and made my way to where she went.
Reaching the poolside, I look around for the crazy woman. Thankfully, I found her just a few feet away from me.
Upon reaching her at the edge of the pool, I grab her upper arm, making her stop. I heard her gasped as she turned around to face me. Her hand was resting on her chest as she breathed in heavily.
"You dumbass, you scared me," she said as she glared at me.
"Calm down there grumpy... Anyways, I apparently have to apologize again though I don't know why," I said.
She just rolled her eyes and shook her head as she looked at me.
"I guess I should be apologizing now," I said as I scratch the back of my neck.
Her month lifted into a smile as her eyes twinkled in the sunlight. I noticed the faded dimple on her right cheek as she was smiling. Her flawless skin was glowing under the sun.
"Here it goes... I'm sorry for being jerk again," I said as I came out of my thoughts.
I looked at her, waiting for a respond but she just stared at me with a smirk playing on her lips.
"I'm not really convinced," she said as her crossed her arms across her chest.
I unexpectedly caught sight of her breasts which were pushed up by her action. Quickly realising that I was staring, I looked back up to her face.
"Maybe this will," she said as she walked towards me.
Frowning, I was completely confused as to what she was doing. Just then, she did what I least expected. Using both of her arms, she pushed me with all her force.
As I felt myself falling back, I grabbed onto her arm and pulled her with me. In a fraction of second, I found myself being submerged into the chlorinated water.
Feeling the shallow floor of the pool against my feet, I pushed myself up. Getting my head out of the water, I gasped for air as I pushed my hair back. The water was cascading down my face as I slowly opened my eyes.
While opening my eyes, I saw Blair coming up as well. Her hair stuck to her face as she breathed in heavily. Unconsciously, my eyes fell onto her lips. The water was perfectly gliding down and onto her lips, causing it to glisten in the light.
I caught myself as I was drifted in some crazy thoughts. She started laughing out of the blue as she looked at me. She looked so relaxed and carefree while pushing the hair off of her face.
"Well that didn't go as planned," she said.
A smile broke onto my lips as I looked at her. This woman is really something.
Walking out of the pool, I looked back to see Blair walking up behind me. Just then, an evil idea sparked up in my mind as I watched her walking out.
Smirking, I approached her and just pushed her back into the pool, causing the water to splash onto me.
I busted out laughing as I watched her emerge from the water. She blew off the water as it washed down her face. Her face looked priceless as she was pointing at me.
"Aww look at the little wet puppy," I said.
"Asshole," she grunted as she walked to me.
"Oh come on, you love me," I said as I pinched her cheeks.
She smack my hands as she glared at me. Man, if glares could kill, I would be in hell right now.
I couldn't help but chuckled as I watched her frown and ready to hit me more.
"Man you are so aggressive," I said as I rubbed my hands.
She simply shot me the deadliest glare ever before punching me one last time. I grinned as I knew it would always be fun to mess with her.
