How the hell did I end up like that?
Oh, let me get this straight...
My name is Y/n. I am seventeen years old and I have an older brother who is nineteen.
While I am that quiet kid who likes to stay home, study, read about nature, animals and other information, he is that 'extrovert' -who is basically smoking behind my parents' backs... I have tried to tell them what he does a lot of times, but they just do not believe me!
That is, because they trust him a lot while they see me as a five year old girl who needs her brother everywhere with him...
My parents left for a trip that would last for four days, leaving my brother to 'take care of me' because I am 'too young to take care of myself'.
Here I was, being on a stupid strip club with him and his five asshole friends who would tease me all the time...
I felt horrible!
I was alone, I felt violated, uncomfortable and the worst of all..
I could do nothing about it!
I could not just leave!
I was in a foreign place with lots of weirdos that would probably rape me from the first moment I would dare leave my brother and his crew...
I felt like crying. Dying.
As much as I would try to avoid talking or looking at them, it was impossible.

One of his friends said while I just stared at .... Nowhere.

All of his friends laughed.

"Y/n, they are talking to you."
Still, I did not speak.
I yelped when he pinched my arm really hard, "Talk."
"What do you want?! I can hear them, you know! I just do not want to talk to any of you!"
It was the first time I talked back.
I felt like something bad was about to happen, so I got up and ran out, not even hearing him through the crowded noise.

Tears from frustration formed my eyes as I rubbed my temple, stepping out of the cursed building to take some fresh air.
As soon as I thought I would find peace, I felt a strong grip on my arm.
"What are you thinking?!"
"What are YOU thinking?! Where the hell did you take me to?! I did not agree tone included in this shit!"

"Fuck you! I will do whatever I want! That is ENOUGH! I can not stand your stupid babysitting ass all around me! I am done!" I yelled through tears, feeling frustrated from all this, since it has been happening for several years.
I ran away from him, thankfully I was faster than him -or he was slower than me- so he could not catch up with me.
I let out a sigh. "I should call a taxi to take me home.."
"How about I take you home, young lady?"
I turned around me to see a ma around fifty, wearing a ripped white shirt and jeans. He looked as if he barely shaved, or one word to describe his whole appearance...
Rapist.
Or.... Anything else you would think of.
He had a car beside him.
My heart started to beat fast. I swallowed hard and tried to remain calm.
"Um... Uh, no thanks... My brother will take me."
"Your brother? Did you not just start your would call a taxi? And... Who were you running from?"
"Nobody... I just wanted to run since.... I felt energetic. Anyway... I should get back, my brother-" I gasped as he took out a gun.
"Get inside the car, now."
My eyes widen in fear.
That's it. I am going to get kidnapped, raped and killed by an old man because I left the strip club and ran away from my brother and the others, now this is my fate, this is his it will all en-

I gasped as I saw the man falling limp to the ground, blood running out of his head.
Shaking in fear, I looked in front of me to see a man dressed in yellow clothing with a black mask and a red frown. He was holding a gun in his gloved hands.
He stared at the dead body that stood a few inches away from me, before his 'eyes' turned to me.
"...."
"...."
..... Someone in my place would have screamed.
I did not.
I just saw someone getting killed right in front of me.
But it was not that ...
That.... Weird man, killed, psychopath.... Just saved my life.
Would he also be the one to end it as well?
"Y/n, what the hell?!"
I turned behind me to see my brother, staring at the body in fear.
I turned to look for the masked man, but.. He was not there.
I turned to my brother, "I did not do anything!"

Four months later. . .
"Sweetie, are you sure you-"
"Yes mom, I am sure. I can go on my own."
"I am just worried... Why don't you-"
"No, Kyle is not coming with me. I can go alone."
I said with a final decision as I left the house.
What happened at that day.... Was all caught from security cameras. It showed everything. Me running away, the rapist...
That masked man.
It was all over the news. Titled as 'Killer Or Guardian?' 'Killer protects girl from rapist' 'Killer saves girl from getting kidnapped' etc...
Also, my parents learned exactly where Kyle had taken me to. They learned everything, they finally believed me. But they were still concerned by the fact that I almost got kidnapped...
However, they could finally treat me like a young woman, not like a young child anymore, so it was a good sign.
I was going to a nearby town to see Dolly, a beautiful Yorkshire Terrier dog that was abandoned.
Dolly was a sweet dog, she was always happy to see everyone, especially those specific people that would feed her, play with her or take care of her from time to time, just like I did.
People could not afford to take her to their homes, not even I could since my parents disagreed, as she lived on the streets.... But she was always happy nonetheless.
For a thirteen year old dog, she sure was happy and energetic. My instinct told me that she would live for more than just fifteen years...
Now, it was dark and late, also cold, and I was super worried... I wanted to make sure that she would be somewhere warm...
That is why I had made her a DIY little doggy house with a warm bed inside!
It was not heavy at all so I had no troubles...
When I finally saw her, she looked a bit cold. Once her eyes were locked with me, she shook her tail and ran to me. I placed the little house down and embraced her.
"Dolly, hi! How are you, girl?" I laughed as I hugged her close for comfort.
I showed her the bags I held and smiled. "Look what I've got you! Food, water and toys! And.... A new little house just for you!"
I showed her everything as she ran around in happiness.

After a few minutes, I managed to settle everything. I put her house in her favorite spot and gave her a bowl of food and water and after making sure that she played, I put her inside the warm bed as she curled.
"This should keep you warm... I need to get going, the others will be worried. I will see you tomorrow again!"
She closed her eyes and slept. With a satisfied smile, I got up and started to leave.
