After I got my papers and signed them Daniel and Donald got me and Malik loaded to go home. I can't lie I was so ready to go home.
Being in that hospital for all that time has me bugging. I wanted to stop by and see my sister before I go. So I sent my things down with Daniel and went to her room. I looked at her.
Tears begin to run down my cheeks. I can't believe this. This is all my fault. I should not have been so hard with her. I mean I wasn't with Jarod anymore so what did it mattered.
I walked into the ICU room and saw all the machines attached to her. I can't believe this is happening to Gabby. She was on a breathing machine and all.
I walked over and grabbed her hand. I put my head down and said a little prayer for her. I felt her hand moving in mine. I opened my eyes and looked up.
"Gabby?" I said softly.
She begin to open her eyes and look around.
"Oh my God. Gabby can you bear me?" I said getting anxious.
Gabby started coughing and looking around nervously. I ran and got the doctor. He came in and examined her and took vitals.
"Is she ok Doc?"
"Yes she's fine. We are gonna remove these tubes and see what she does."
I stepped back and watch them do what they needed to do. And I was getting excited. My sissy is finally waking up. I'm so glad of that. I thought I was gonna loose her at one point.
After they did what they needed to do I walked to her bed side. I grabbed her hand smiled.
"Sissy how are you feeling?"
In a groggy voice she spoke.
"I'm ready to get out of here."
"I know. And I'm ready for you too. I'm sorry for what I said to you. I didn't mean for that to happen to you." Michelle said.
"I know. I'm sorry too. I didn't mean to hurt you. Jarod planned that shit. And I didn't want this to hurt you. I was gonna tell you."
"Don't worry about it. I'm with Daniel now. And that's all that matters."
"How's Malik?" Gabby asked.
"He's fine. We got him loaded in the car. We both got discharged today."
"Discharged? Why was Malik discharged?"
"Well he took your situation a little hard so they admitted him in to control what was going on."
"Oh my God. Is he ok?"
"Yes. He's fine. Don't worry about him. We got him. We just need you to get better." Michelle told Gabby."
"Where's Donald?" Gabby said sadly.
"He's here too. He's been worried sick about you."
"You mean to tell me he's still here with me? After what I allowed to happen?"
"Yes. He is still here. That man loves you. And he's not trying to loose you."
"Where is he?" Gabby asked.
"He's loading the car."
As the sisters was talking there was a knock on the door.
"Come in." Michelle said.
In comes Donald and Malik. Tears ran down Malik face when he saw that his mom was awake.
"Mama!" Malik yelled and ran to her bed side.
He hugged her tight and cried.
"I'm so glad you are awake mama. I was worried sick about you." Malik said through his tears.
"I know you was baby. I'm fine. A little sore but I'm fine." Gabby said.
Donald looked at her from a distance. He had his head down and looking away from her.
"Malik lets give your mom and Donald some time to talk." Michelle said.
They walked out and left them in the room alone. Donald walked to her bed and sat down next to her. He didn't know what to say.
"Gabby I'm.." Donald said before she cut him off.
"Don't say nothing. I'm so sorry for what Jarod did. I never meant to hurt you. I swear. And when you broke it off with me I thought my life was over."
"I know and I'm sorry too. I don't want to leave you. I want to marry you still. I love you and I don't want to ever be apart again." Donald said crying.
He leaned down and kissed her passionately. Gabby wrapped her arms around his neck and deepened the kiss.
"I love you Donald."
"I love you too baby. I need you to hurry up and get well so I can take you home and make crazy love to you." He said biting his lips.
Gabby laughed and started coughing.
"Are you ok?" Donald asked.
"Yeah I'm fine. Just had to cough a little that's all."
The doctor came in and check her again. They said she was looking good. Donald was happy about that news.
"If you keep this up you will be going home in no time." The doctor said.
"Listen baby. I'm gonna take Malik home and get him situated and I'll be back to see you ok."
"That's fine. Just hurry back." Gabby said smiling.
Donald kissed her lips softly and walked out the door. There was another knock on the door.
"Come in. Gabby said."
When Jarod walked in she got pissed very quick.
"What the hell are you doing in my room?"
"Man chill the fuck out. I came to see if you was ok. And I need you to talk to your sister." Jarod said as he walked to her bed.
"I ain't helping you do a damn thing. You ruined my life and full think that's ok?" Gabby said raising her bed to sit up.
"Don't act like that. Cause before this little incident you was tonguing me down."
"You tricked me into that and you know that shit." Gabby said.
"I didn't do nothing. Well actually all I did was call you on your shit. So if that's what you mean then yes I did." Jarod said as he bit down on his lip."
"Get the fuck out before I call security."
"You touch that button and I promise you will regret it."
"You making threats now?" Gabby said.
Jarod leaned down and kissed her lips and said "I don't make threats I make promises."
Jarod smiles and walked out the door before he was seen in the hospital.
