Chapter 3 - Mind blowing
“Sorry talaga Drei, kung di lang nagdamot tung si Rocky edi sana lagi mo kaming kasama noon pa, kaya lang wala eh di sinabi na mag 2 years ka na palang nandito nakatira sa Pinas.” Sabi ni Jowelle while shaking his head.
“Oo nga edi sana you didn’t get so lonely.” Justin added.
Natawa nalang ako sa pang aasar nila. Si Rocky pala may kasalanan kaya di nila alam na nandito na ko sa Pinas, sabi nung kambal may girlfriend daw kasi si Rocky na selosa at alam niyang di siya papayagan nito na makasama or Makita ako kaya daw siguro di sinabi ni Rocky sakanila para daw pare-pareho silang di ako Makita.
“Guilty si gago.” Van snickered.
Lalo tuloy akong natawa kasi nakasimangot na si Rocky.
“It’s ok, ano ka ba and I wasn't lonely you know I also have the capability of making friends. Ano ko loner?"
Ngumiti lang naman sila sa sinabi ko "And I guess you guys were busy as well.”
“Yeah, college is well… college. Frustrating and exhausting than ever.”
Tumango naman sakanya sila Jow.
“You’re all graduating right? Except Roland and Bryan?” I asked.
They nodded.
“Hmmm. I see, buti pa kayo.”
“Ikaw? You studied in States right? May mga nacredit ka na siguro na general courses, anong year mo na ba?” tanong sakin ni Bryan while the other guys are are engaged with different topic.
“Well, medyo complicated eee irreg Alamo na. May mga nacredit naman most of the general courses kasi yung iba natake ko na nung highschool palang nacredit naman nila dito thank God, like English 101,Spanish, French, Mandarin, Calculus. Mga course ko ngayon pang third year 3rd year 1st sem na.”
“Great sabay sabay tayong gagraduate nila Roland next year!” Bryan exclaimed.
Napatingin naman ulit ako kay Roland.
Kung ipagkukumpara sila, Roland seems to be the real bad boy while Bryan seems to be the good guy. Nasa aura ni Roland yung angas, he's trouble.
Nung tinignan ko si Roland para nya pa rin akong tinutunaw sa mga tingin nya, ewan ko kung ako lang ba nakakapansin pero he is drinking his beer…sexily.
“Anong major mo?” Tanong ni Roland, obviously alam nyang BSBA student din ako.
“Financial Management. You?”
“Marketing din.”
“Oh nice, BSBA ka din pala.” Sabi ko kunwari di ko alam.
“Yup.” He said popping the ‘p’
“Actually Ryan and I are blockmates.”
He added.
And because of that napatigil ako.
“Oh.” Was all I could manage to say.
Seryoso? Bakit hindi ko siya nakikita lagi? Hindi naman yata sila close ni Ryan.
Parang nabasa naman nya yung nasa utak ko.
“We’re not friends though,” so that answered my question.
I just nodded, I don’t really want to talk about Ryan.
Maya-maya nagpaalam sila Van at yung twins may lalapitan lang daw silang group of girls, tapos si Rocky iihi lang daw, so I’m left with two strangers.
Medyo awkward kahit parang naging close na kami dahil sa mga kulitan at kwentuhan namin simula pa kanina.
And speaking of awkward, hobby na yata ni Roland na gawing awkard yung situation when it comes to talking to me.
“So, is there a thing between you and Rocky?” he asked smiling.
“Oo nga, wala na bang chance para magkabalikan kayo?” nakangiti ding tanong ni Bryan.
I smiled and shook my head.
“No, there’s nothing going on between me and Rocky and there will be no chance for us to get back together.” I said honestly.
“Bakit naman? As far as I know you and Ryan are no longer together right?” Roland said casually.
Bakit ganon sa dating ng pananalita nya pakiramdam ko marami siyang alam tungkol sa’kin? Damn
“Yes, we’re not together anymore but that doesn’t mean I want to jump to a new relationship, besides mas gusto ko yung ganito lang kami ni Rocky, mas nagwowork kami as friends.”
“Oh, I see. Pano mo naman nasabi?”
Tinignan ko lang silang dalawa bago ko uminom ulit ng beer and I smiled, “We tried so many times to get back together tuwing uuwi ako ng Pinas kaya lang it’s just not working out. Seems like it’s just really a puppy love saka ang bata pa nga kasi talaga namin non’ parang wala lang din barkadang sweet lang we didn't even get a chance to be alone.” I said shaking my head.
Then Roland grimaced.
"So you guys didn't????" he asked knowingly and because of that I laughed. Siraulo talaga to.
"No, we didn't." I said still laughing until Rocky came back.
"What are you guys laughing about?" he asked as he sat next to me.
"Nothing." Roland, Bryan and I said simultaneously.
Then we burst out laughing again.

Time flies when you're having fun next thing I know nasa labas na kami ng Tides it's already 3:27 am
"Are you sure you can drive?" Van asked for the nth time with concern written all over his face just like the other guys.
"I jst fcking answered that while ago. I said I'm sober, I can manage." I answered, getting really annoyed.
Si Bryan medyo lasing na kaya nauna na siyang umuwi kanina, while Jowelle left earlier with a girl he just met.
So it's just me, Van, Rocky, Roland and Justin.
"I could drop you off guys, I'm fcking okay. I swear. Get in. I'll give you a ride." sabi ko sakanila, wala kasi silang dalang kotse, si Bry lang at yung kotse naman nila Jow ginamit niya.
When we pulled out from the parking lot I asked immediately where I could drop them off..
They're all tipsy or drunk, I cannot tell.
We're just laughing and screaming inside my car and singing along with Jason derulo's song Wiggle, if that's the definition of drunk well I guess I might be drunk as well. lol
"Can we just stay in my condo? It's the nearest place we could crash, you can't drive anymore Drei don't be so stubborn." Van Suggested.
Medyo bumibigat na din yung mata ko, drunk driving isn't a good idea. Saka hindi lang ako ang mapapahamak pati sila.
"Right, whatever. Lead the way." I told him while the guys agreed as well.
Pag dating naming lima dun sa condo nya, I borrowed one of his shirts washed my face, drank a glass of water so that I won’t get a hangover then I crashed to his bedroom, I plopped myself down to his couch comfortably, ang laki kaya nung couch ang lambot pa atleast dito ako lang mag isa. Eh sa kama, king size nga apat naman sila.
Ayoko din silang katabi hindi naman sa ayaw, nakapagsleep over na kami ng ilang beses noon pero kanina pa kasi nila ko pinagtitripan kaya medyo inis din ako sakanila bago kami umalis ng Tides and ayoko ng amoy alak katabi ko.
“Good night douchebags.” I mumbled tumawa lang naman ang mga walangya.
When I woke up it was already 10:30 am and I’m really hungry and when I look around they’re still snoring except Van.
Wala na siya sa kwarto.
Nag cr lang ako to clean up and to make sure that I look presentable enough then I made my way to his little kitchen.
“Morning Andeng.” Pang aasar nya, kagabi pa nila ko iniinis using that nickname duuuuh it’s so probinsyana.
“Stop calling me Andeng.” I whined while I sat down to one of the kitchen stools.
He smiled sweetly, knowing he’s getting into my nerves “Coffee?” he asked.
“Sure, thanks.”
“How’s your head?” I asked him he looks pained kasi.
“A little hang over.” Sabi nya sabay upo din sa may kitchen counter sa tapat ko.
“So why did she leave?” I asked curiously. Hindi ko kasi siya masyadong natanong kagabi kasi parang ayaw nya pag usapan pero kanina kasi sa kwarto nya nakita ko sa may likod ng pintuan ng closet nya yung picture nung babae, actually picture nila kaya eto nacurious na naman ako.
They look cute together pa naman sayang.
I’m talking about his girlfriend, nag lilive in na kasi sila dito for almost 6 months tapos bigla nalang daw siyang iniwan last 2 months ago. Yun yung kwento nya kagabi, they’d been together for almost 1 year and 7 months.
He shrugged, “Well, busy lang kasi ko sa thesis saka sa OJT tapos siya rin working student kasi siya, you know… model model.. party organizer.. so we don’t have enough time and she doesn’t understand that I’m really pressured alam mo naman na ayoko talaga nitong degree program ko si Dad lang nagpilit. Tapos yun lagi naming pinag aawayan, time, communication, understanding.”
I just nodded.
“Then one night, I came home from school I saw that she packed her things and left..”
Napatigil ako sa kwento nya, how btch. Bigla nalang siyang iniwan. I feel sorry for Van, he doesn’t deserve a girl like that. He’s the sweetest guy for me tuwing susunduin nila ko sa airport binibilihan nya pa ko ng flowers.
“She just left without talking to you first?” tanong ko tapos parang tumawa siya ng nakakaloko or parang tawang naiinis na nasasaktan.
“She left a post it note saying that it’s not working out.” he shrugged.
I shook my head, “That girl didn’t know what she just lost.” I said and smiled at him. Sa totoo lang naiinis ako hindi deserving si Van sa kahit anung pananakit, he's a great guy.
Ngumiti lang din naman siya sakin.
“Do you want to get her back?” I asked.
“Hell no, what do you want for breakfast?” he asked changing the topic
“Bacon and egg.” I said beaming at him.
So ayaw nya na pag usapan, ayoko na nga mang pry.
“Ham and hotdog.” Dagdag naman ni Roland tapos umupo sa katabing kitchen stool ko.
Then he smiled at me.
How can someone look so good and damn sexy early in the morning???
Yung buhok nya gulo-gulo pero in a sexy way, tapos naka boxers lang siya and then white t-shirt na hiniram nya din yata kay Van or sakanya yun kasi fit na fit sakanya eh baka may mga gamit na din sila dito, I don’t know.
He’s just so sexy.
Nakakainis.
“See something you like?”
“No, all I can see is a douchebag who kept calling me Andeng last night.”
Tumingin siya sa'kin na parang nangungutya.
“Wanna see my abs?” pang aasar na naman nya.
“Cocky. Wanna see my abs too?” I said while drinking my coffee. Kala nya siya lang may abs eh no. Pagtingin ko nakatingin siya sa’kin simula sa legs ko paakyat sa mukha ko.
“Couldn't you be more obvious? “ I teased.
Sasagot pa sana siya when the doorbell rang.
“I got it.” Sabi ko kay Van nag luluto na kasi siya.
Pag bukas nung pinto halos matawa ko sa biglang paglaki ng mata nung babaeng nasa harap ko. I immediately recognized her. She's Van's ex-girlfriend.
“Who the hell are you?” – “What are you doing here?”
Sabay na tanong naming nung ex ni Van.
“Again, who the hell are you?” pagtataray nya.
I crossed my arms a little self-conscious of my attire.
Ikli kasi ng shorts ko tapos ang laki ng shirt ni Van sakin mukha kong nakapanty lang.
Pero nakakagulat tong babae na 'to. Walang manners pano kung kapatid pala ko ni Van edi bad shot na siya. This girl needs to learn her lesson.
“Again, what are you doing here?” tanong ko ulit.
“Why are you at my boyfriend’s condo?” she asked back.
“Ex-boyfriend.” I automatically corrected. “I live here. What do you want?” I asked smiling. She clenched her jaw at that statement.
“So you’re the new whore.” Sabi nya it's exciting that she’s trying to get me angry, too bad nag eenjoy ako sa ganito.
“Your anger is amusing girl. Again, what are you doing here?"
“Gusto kong makausap si Van, I came to see him.”
At dahil nga nature ko ng matuwa pag may nagagalit or naiinis sakin mas lalo kong nag eenjoy asarin sya.
“He doesn’t want to talk to you and to see you.”
And by this time alam kong napatigil na sa pagluluto si Van and I can smell Roland as well, I know he’s just 5 steps away from me, obviously wanted to see who’s at the door and what’s happening.
“And how would you know that.” Tanong nya sakin at nagkibit balikat lang ako.
“Because you’re the btch that hurt him; you left.” I pointed out.
“And you’re the rebound slut that’s screwing him. He doesn’t love you sweetheart, stop trying.” she said defensively and I smirked.
“And the sex is mind blowing.” I retorted, narinig ko naman na may nagtawanang mga lalaki sa likod ko.
“You are nothing to him.” She hissed, I think I hit a nerve.
This is fun!
“Maybe not but I’ve had him begging for more all night long, something you never managed to do.” sagot ko sakanya.
Tapos ayan na naman yung mahihina at nagpipigil na tawa na nanggagaling sa may living room sa likod ko.
Probably all of them are awake by now.
“I’m not leaving until I see him.” She crossed her arms.
“Hey Van, honey..” I called out sickly sweet to annoy her more.
Tapos lumingon ako at nilakihan ko siya ng mata para magets nya yung ginagawa ko at para sakyan nya yung trip ko.
“Yes hon, who’s there?”
She was furious when he came up behind me and wrapped his arms around my waist.
Ha, take that!
Halata sa mukha nya na inis na inis na sya.
“She’s back.” I sang and looked back to see him, his smile disappear and it was replaced instantly with a look of hurt and anger.
I really feel bad for him.
“Joey.”
“Hey baby.” Sabi ni Joey then she smiled as sweet as she could and I coughed when his grip tightened which cause him to loosen up immediately.
“I’m sorry.” bulong ni Van
“It’s alright.” I went to move and he held me in place.
“Hindi mo ba ko papapasukin?” tanong nya kay Van.
“No.” he didn’t hesitate to say
“Well then can we talk alone?” she asked eyeing me.
“No.” sagot nya ulit.
“Van I miss you.” Sabi ni Joey kay Van and I’m sure van’s rolling his eyes.
“You made your choices, it’s done.” He pulled me back into the unit and shut the door as she protested.
“Btch.” He mumbled and I held in a laugh.
“Agree.” Sabi ko.
“Anong sabi nya sayo?” he asked me habang pabalik na kami sa kitchen and I waved dismissively, she never got under my skin.
“Oh you know, I’m your new slut and you’ll never love me and I should stop trying, I’m nothing to you. You know the things the normal ex-girlfriend says when she’s all pissed off.”
“I’m sorry.” He said apologetically.
“You don’t have to worry Van. I saw Drei handled herself very well.” Sabi ni Roland na natatawa tawa pa rin habang bumalik dun sa may counter.
“I never thought you’re into dirty talk.” He added.
Nagtawanan naman sila Justin and Rocky, probably narinig din nila yung mga sinabi ko kanina hahahaha.
I just rolled my eyes at them.
“I just wanted to teach her some lesson. And she’s trying to get me mad, too bad I enjoy things like that kaya I pissed her off by saying those things, kinky.” Nagtawanan naman sila.
“Di ka pa rin talaga nagbabago.” Sabi ni Justin.
"What?" I asked innocently.
“Brat.” Sabi ni Rocky habang umiiling-iling pa.
“I’m not,” I answered and went back to drink my coffee sa tabi ni Roland sa may kitchen counter.
He leaned down until I felt his lips to my ear, “Bad girl, you were feisty back there." That sent shivers though my body.
"Mind blowing sex uhh?” he whispered again and then smirked at me.
"And I like the begging part, by the way."
I froze.
