Blizzard: Francis, we can't deal with two Infinites and two Crystals! We gotta do something about that!
Francis: Hmm... I know! I've made this gun which creates portals to other universes.
Blizzard: Aha! We distract the clones, then you shoot the gun and create a portal, then I'll kick them in!
Francis: Good idea. Well, let's get to it! Those villains aren't gonna kill themselves!
Blizzard: Right!
Thirty minutes later...
Blizzard: Dang...
Francis: You've done some great damage to us, but it's not enough to take us down!
Infinite: Grrr...
Machito: You think?!
Smesh: We'll kick your asses!
Francis: Uh uh uh! You triggered my trap card!
Crystalonetta: Wot?
Francis shot the Portal Gun, which created a portal behind the clones of Infinite and Crystalonetta.
Infinite Clone: Wha?!
Francis: NOW!!!
Blizzard: Get fucked, bitches!
Crystalonetta Clone: Wait, what-
Blizzard kicked the clones into the portal, and flipped them off as the portal closed.
Infinite Clone: WHOAAAAAAAAAA!!!
Crystalonetta Clone: OOOOHHHHH, SHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIT!!!
Infinite Clone: Crap! Are we gonna die?!
Crystalonetta Clone: I hope not!
The two continued travelling through the portal, which turned from minutes into hours.
Infinite Clone: Argh... How long is this gonna take? Actually, are we even GOING anywhere?
Crystalonetta Clone: We must be! I don't think they sent us to some Void...
Suddenly the portal exit opened, leading to an alternate universe.
Infinite Clone: Oh, never mind!
Crystalonetta Clone: Finally, we're getting somewhere!
Infinite Clone: Here we come!
The two fell out of the portal exit, as it closed.
Infinite Clone: Ow...
Crystalonetta Clone: Where are we...?
Infinite Clone: Not sure... We seem to be in an alleyway... Let's have a look around.
Crystalonetta Clone: Okay, honey.
The clone couple walked out of the alleyway and were amazed by what they saw.
Infinite Clone: HORI SHIATO!
Crystalonetta Clone: WOW!
It was a futuristic looking city, full of advertisements, signs, posters, and lots of neon.
Infinite Clone: It's... It's beautiful...
Crystalonetta Clone: Yeah... But doesn't this place seem... Familiar...?
Infinite Clone: Now that you say it... It IS familiar! But why...?
Crystalonetta Clone: Hmm... I'm not sure...
The two started to walk and look around, people around them were playing games, chatting, and eating.
Infinite Clone: Wow... This place seems to be crowded.
Crystalonetta Clone: And mostly everyone is playing games? Wait...
Infinite Clone: Are we in the...
Crystalonetta Clone: Meta Runner universe...?
Infinite Clone: We are...! Oh my god!
Crystalonetta Clone: Man... This is so cool, but it's so weird without any of our friends here...
Infinite Clone: Defiantly... Damn it, Blizzard... Oh well, at least this place is safe!
The clone couple then started getting surrounded by people.
Crystalonetta Clone: Uhhh... Can we... Help you?
Boy 1: Wow! Sick costumes, you two!
Girl 1: They look so realistic!
Boy 2: One of them is Infinite from Sonic Forces, while the other is a pretty cute wolf!
Crystalonetta Clone: Hehe... Thanks...!
Infinite Clone: But we're not wearing costumes... We're real animals!
Girl 1: Wait, really?
One of the boys closely looked at the clone couple.
Boy 1: Oh my... They ACTUALLY are real!
Boy 2: WHAT?!
Girl 2: That's so awesome! But how are they even here in reality?
Infinite Clone: Actually... We don't come from this world.
Crystalonetta Clone: We come from a different universe.
Crowd: Sayyyyy Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat?
Infinite Clone: We were dealing with a threat, then we got kicked into a portal by some asshole, and now we're here!
Boy 1: Wow...! That's REALLY interesting!
Boy 2: Still... It's nice to meet some video game characters!
Girl 1: Yeah!
During the commotion, someone was watching from around the corner.
Tas Corp Spy: Hmm... That's weird... It's like the situation we're currently dealing with. Hmm...
The Spy tapped his earpiece.
Tas Corp Spy: Lux, you there?
Lux: Hmm? Yes, what is it? I'm busy dealing with Tari and Theo.
Tas Corp Spy: I hate to interrupt your work, Lux, but you better come to my position and see this.
Lux: It better be something good. Lux out.
The spy continued to watch the clones talk to the crowd, as Lux walked to Belle who was playing a game.
Lux: Hey, Belle?
Belle: What is it, Lux?
Lux: I just got a report from one of our spies... He says there's something interesting going on nearby.
Belle: Well, let's go check it out. I bet it's nothing THAT special.
Lux: Judging by what's happened recently, it could be anything. We shouldn't let our guard down. We'll let Tari and Theo off for now.
Belle: Sure, whatever.
The two hopped into a car, as Lux tossed a controller to Belle. She began to drive while whistling.
Infinite Clone: We'd like to stay and talk, but me and my wife would like to have a look around. We're new here.
Crystalonetta Clone: Yeah, sorry!
Crowd: Bye!
The clone couple walked off while holding hands.
Infinite Clone: If we're stuck in this universe, then I hope our friends back home can survive.
Crystalonetta Clone: Me too... What are we saying?! The real Infinite and Crystal are back home, they'll protect everyone we care about! They'll kick Francis' and Blizzard's asses!
Infinite Clone: Damn right!
Crystalonetta Clone's stomach growled. She was quite hungry.
Infinite Clone: Heh heh, I'm hungry too, sweetheart. Let's go get something from the cafe over there.
Crystalonetta Clone: Sure-
Before they could walk in, a car pulled up behind them, as two people got out.
Lux: Alright, let's see what he was talking... About...
Belle: W-what...?
Infinite Clone: H-hi there...? Are you fans? Want an autograph?
Lux: Well... That spy wasn't joking around after all.
Belle: Oh my...
Crystalonetta Clone: Spy?
Lux: You two, come with us.
Infinite Clone: What?
Belle: Just follow Lux's orders, and nothing serious will happen.
Crystalonetta Clone: No!
Infinite Clone: Hey, beat it! We're not doing anything with you!
Lux: They're not complying. Call in some reinforcements.
Crystalonetta Clone summoned lightning in her hands.
Belle: W-whoa! Calm down there!
Crystalonetta Clone: How about no?!
Lux: Hurry up, one of them has the power of lightning apparently!
Infinite Clone: You don't know who I am, huh? I'm the... Hero of the Multiverse's clone!
Lux: Wait... What?
Belle: Hero of the Multiverse...? We've heard of that guy! You need to come with us. With your power, Tas Corp could become invincible!
Infinite Clone: My power will not be used for evil!
Lux: Ugh... So be it.
A ton of armored vehicles stopped near Lux and Belle.
Crystalonetta Clone: Oh, shit!
Lux: Last chance.
Infinite Clone: No! Get out of our sight!
Lux: Do it.
An APC fired a laser at Infinite Clone, which made him scream in pain and fall to the ground.
Crystalonetta Clone: HONEY!
Belle: You next...
Infinite Clone: Wait... Don't...! She's pregnant!
Lux: Pregnant? Hmm... Fine.
Two guards handcuffed Crystalonetta Clone, and put the two into a car.
Infinite Clone: Ugh... What did they... Do to me...?
Lux: Your powers have been taken away... For now. I know what you're capable of, even if you're not the real deal.
Belle: Yeah. Hey, can someone shut those two up before they start rambling? I need to concentrate while driving on the road.
A guard shot a tranquilizer dart at Infinite Clone and Crystalonetta Clone.
Infinite Clone: Agh! Y-you...
Crystalonetta Clone: Y-you'll... Pay for this...
The clone couple passed out, as Belle took a sigh of relief.
Lux: Good. I have plans for these two.
Belle: Hmm?
Lux: Our technology is very advanced, and I say... We turn these two into Meta Runners.
Belle: Whoa...
Lux: They'll have great gaming skills just like you, Belle. And we can use them to easily capture Tari and Theo.
Belle: Good idea. So, are you just gonna remove their arms?
Lux: No... I have something ELSE in mind.
Belle: Lux, you get really creepy when you're serious...
Lux: I'll take that as a compliment.
Belle: *Facepalm*
After a while, the two arrived at Tas Corp and carried Infinite Clone and Crystalonetta Clone into the building.
Lux: Here's my plans for these two. Get to work.
Tas Corp Employees: SIR, YES SIR!
Belle: While I'm at it, I'll play some games. How long will this plan of yours take, Lux?
Lux: Half a day, possibly.
Belle: Mmhmm...
Lux: I'll go ahead and keep an eye out for Tari and Theo. Her abilities are going to be super useful. With her, and those clones combined... Tas Corp will be unstoppable!
Belle: Heh, damn right. Later, Lux.
Lux walked out of the room, as Belle continued playing her game.
Twelve hours later...
Lux was looking through some security camera footage, as an employee walked in.
Tas Corp Employee: Lux?
Lux: Yes?
Tas Corp Employee: It is done. Want to come see?
Lux: Defiantly.
Tas Corp Employee: Follow me.
Lux followed the employee into another room, and gasped.
Lux: Wow... You and the others... Did an outstanding job.
Tas Corp Employee: Hell yeah we did!
Infinite Clone and Crystal Clone had been completely changed. They were no longer in their normal bodies. Instead, Infinite Clone was in a human body with white spiky hair, a blue eye and a yellow eye, a dark jacket, grey pants, red shoes, and a silver Meta Runner arm.
Lux: Excellent! And what about the girl?
Crystal Clone was in a human body too, with long light-blue hair, sapphire eyes, a dark-blue shirt, dark shorts, navy-blue shoes, and a diamond Meta Runner arm.
Lux: Beautiful. Wait, what about her pregnancy?
Tas Corp Employee: Don't worry, we sorted that out. She's still pregnant.
Lux: Phew.
The two then started to wake up.
Infinite: Ugh... What the hell...? Why does everything hurt...?
Crystal: Same here... Owie...
Lux: Ah, you two are awake. Feel any different?
Infinite: A lot...
Crystal: Yeah...
The two looked down and saw that they were in new bodies, they screamed and began to freak out.
Lux: Hey, calm down! We only created new bodies for you, nothing else.
Infinite looked into a mirror and looked at his new human self. Crystal did the same and gasped.
Crystal: We... Actually don't look that bad.
Infinite: Heh, you guys tried to keep us close to our animal forms?
Lux: Not only that, you still have your animal traits too.
Infinite looked behind him and saw his tail. Crystal touched her head and felt her wolf-like ears.
Crystal: Wow...
Infinite: I don't know how you guys did that, but that's cool!
Lux: Now... You may of seen that we gave you Meta Runner arms. We want you to help us represent Tas Corp!
Belle: Trust me, you'll get to pretty much play games all day like me. I mean, that's what this world is all about!
Infinite: Hmm... Sure.
Crystal: We'll do it!
Infinite: *Thoughts: But not for long... We're gonna escape from this place. I just hope I still have my abilities...*
Lux: Glad you two are aboard. I'm sure when your baby comes, it'll be a great gamer like the both of you.
Crystal: Hehe, yeah.
Belle: Come on, then. Let's go! People are awaiting to see my skills!
Lux: And this show will be even better with you two around!
Crystal: Let's go!
Infinite: Alright, let's game!
(WHOA! Unexpected Meta Runner story?! This is something I've wanted to do ever since Meta Runner was announced back in December, but I wanted to wait until it came out so I could learn about the characters a little.)
(I'm so excited to do this story! And yes, this story will be taking place at the same time as Meta Runner. Tari, Theo and other characters will appear. But you'll all see what I have planned for this story soon. ;) )
