Veronica's POV
The limo took us straight to the garden we were getting married at.
There was a aisle, with flowers on each side. At the end there was fairy lights and a little "stage" that me and Archie would say our vows at
We were far away from the wedding though. Most of the people had arrived, and some still coming.
B- "Are you nervous?"
V- "Yeah." I couldn't stop moving, I would tap my feet eagerly, and play with pieces of my hair"
Then we started to hear music. That was our queue.
Cheryl and Toni insisted on going first, so that it was starting off "Good"
They walked down, hand and hand. People smiled, other people stared in disgust because they were "two girls"
Then it was Katy and Betty to walk down. When they got to the end I got even more nervous.
And then it was my turn. As I started walking, I put on a smile. Archie's face made me giggle a bit, and he mouthed sweet words, to be honest he could probably tell I was nervous.
Then the priest started going on about how we were "in love". I couldn't really hear anything, I was so focused on Archie. I could tell he was also focusing on me.
P- "Do you, Veronica Lodge take Archibald Andrew's to be your husband?"
I froze. I then looked over at my parents, and everyone. They were all waiting for my answer.
I then looked back at Archie
V- "I do"
P- "And do you, Archibald Andrew's take Veronica Lodge to be your wife?"
A- "I do."
P- "Well that bring said, you may kiss the bride"
Our lips crashed together, and we kissed passionately. Everyone was cheering and clapping, some people were even crying
A- "Oh no, why is everyone crying Ronnie" Archie whispered
V- "Because they're happy for us"
A- "Oh yeah"
Now it was time to head to the reception. Archie and I took our own limo, and everyone drove or got a ride.
Me and Archie were told to "wait" until everyone was inside
A- "Hey Ronnie"
V- "Yeah Archie?"
A- "You look so beautiful"
V- "You look very handsome yourself."
We then started kissing again. We were told to go inside now.
When we started walking in, everyone was sitting at these really fancy tables. There was banners, string lights, balloons and decorations everywhere.
Then a song started to play. A slow song.
It was the song me and Archie picked out, for our first dance"
Archie pulled me out on the dance floor, and we started to slowdance.
A- "You better enjoy this, I took private lessons."
V- "I love it"
A- "Why the fuck are people cryin again? Seriously?"
V- "Archie those are your family members"
A- "So?"
I laughed as we continued to slow dance. Once it was over, people started clapping again.
We then went to sit at the table our party was at.
V- "Kevin!"
K- "Veronica!"
We started hugging
K- "I'd like to introduce you to my boyfriend, Fangs"
F- "Nice to meet you"
V- "You too"
I then sat down with our friends my parents came over shortly after
Hi- "How are you doing Veronica?"
V- "I'm better"
Hi- "Me and your mother have to fly home tomorrow to finish some unfinished buisness"
V- "Okay"
We were interrupted by a waiter coming over
W- "Hello, have you taken a look at the menus?"
V- "Yes. I'd like a ceasar salad, can I also get some sparkling champagne with that?"
W- "Of course"
W- "What would the groom like?"
A- "I'll have chicken wings and some champagne please, and don't just pour a little bit like you're at Buckingham palace"
V- "Archie be nice!"
A- "what it's a joke?"
They had chefs bringing out everyone's food, like I'm talking they must've been preparing all day.
K- "The food is so great"
A- "Yeah, they actually gave me quite a bit of champagne"
J- "Shut up you alcoholic"
A- "What? Says the one who's ordered three"
J- "One was for Betty but she didn't want it so I drank it"
K- "Children calm down"
C- "Hey Toni, come dance with me"
T- "Okay"
Throughout the night people congratulated us, some of them didn't even know we were forced to get married.
B- "Juggie come dance with me"
A- "Good luck with that, he doesn't dance-"
J- "Of course I'll dance with you"
A- "bro you soft"
V- "I'm going to go find my old friend, Nick"
I then walked over to Nick, he was outside smoking a cigarette.
V- "Hey Nick"
N- "Veronica Lodge, too bad your parents made you marry Red."
V- "He's actually a good guy"
N- "Oh yeah? Is that what your parents want you to believe?"
V- "He's more of a gentleman then you'll ever be"
N- "Oh yeah?"
V- "Fuck off, just go home."
He then started to lean in to kiss me
V- "What the hell is wrong with you?"
N- "You weren't complaining back in riverdale"
I admit, I had a tiny crush on him back in riverdale, but that was over two years ago
V- "Leave Nick, or else I will call the cops."
N- "Alright, fine. I'm not gonna waste my time on a whore like you"
I then confronted his parents and told them to leave too, they left taking there gifts with them
A- "Hey Ronnie everything okay?"
I told him about what Nick did and said
A- "I swear to God if you wouldn't have kicked him out I would've killed him"
V- "How about we go and dance?"
A- "Okay"
As the night went on, more and more people started to leave. By the end it was just Mary, Fred, Jughead, Betty, Cheryl, Toni, Kevin, Fangs, My parents, and Katy.
The lights got turned on, and we started cleaning up the reception. There were also janitors and other people helping. It took us about two hours to finish
Hi- "Alright Veronica, me and your mother are headed out. We'll see you when we are back"
V- "Bye mom, bye daddy" we then hugged and they went to say goodbye to Fred and Mary.
B- "Jughead"
J- "Yes dear?"
B- "I'm not feeling good. Can I stay at your place tonight"
J- "Of course, what's wrong?"
B- " just a headache"
J- "Okay. I'll tell Veronica we're headed out"
V- "Hi Jughead"
J- "Hey I just wanted to let you know me and Betty are headed out. She's not feeling good"
V- "Okay. Bye guys thanks for coming!"
I hugged them both and then the rest of our guests left, leaving me and Archie
A- "Well, I guess we better head back to our hotel"
V- "Okay. I have one last surprise when we get there"
A- "I can't wait"
