Veronica's pov:
I woke up to the sound of my parents fighting.
I walked over to where my phone was charging on my dresser and checked the time.
It was 10:30am.
I put on my pearl necklace that daddy gave me and walked into the kitchen, only to see my parents fighting.
"She is only eighteen Hiram!" Mom yelled at dad
"What is going on here?" I asked Smithers
"No need to worry Ms. Veronica."
He said, sounding not very convincing
I was still curious, so I walked over to my parents
"What the hell is going on here?" I yelled over them
"go to your room, veronica" mom yelled "not until you tell me what the hell you're fighting about" I screamed back
"how about you come into my office and we will talk about it" dad suggested
I then started storming towards his office, my mom and dad behind me
my dad sat down in his chair, sitting across him was mom and I.
"when I was a bit younger, I made a deal with someone who lived in riverdale at the time." He stated
It was silent for a minute
"Go on" I demanded
"he needed money for his company, and I was willing to help him out but I wanted a favor in return"
I nodded my head, gesturing him to continue, I was really confused. What could be so bad my parents were fighting this bad about?
" you are getting married, in 3 months to a boy name Archie Andrews"
"Is this some sort of joke?" I scoffed "No Veronica"
V-"I refuse, I don't even know this guy and you want me to fucking marry him" I scream with pure anger "this was your dads doing, not mine" mom yelled
"Can't you just call it off?" I cry
"we signed legal documents"
By then I started to cry.
A few minutes had past by and I realized there was nothing I could do so i had to make the best out of it.
"When can I meet him?" I mumbled quietly but loud enough to hear
- "we are flying out tomorrow. Ninety days start tomorrow" mom whispered
