Kim Taehyung
Tears appeared in my eyes and I placed my slim, thin hand right on the spot, where his palm had hit my soft cheek. The burning pain was still there and at the end, the first tear rolled down my cheek. Jeongguk has really slapped me. He, the one who has told me that he loves me.
Jeongguk has hit me just because I asked who this girl was. Actually, I could accept many bad things in my life, but when I was beaten or slapped, you crossed a border. And Jeongguk has just done that.
I ran out of the room, crying as long as I could get away from him. I didn't want to see him anymore. When I was in Jeongguk's bedroom, I grabbed my cell phone and called the first number on the top of my contacts.
Jeongguk hasn't followed me, let alone apologized to me and that hurt even more than the fact that he has slapped me just a few minutes ago. Probably, he didn't even feel guilty, this idiot... Sobbing, I waited for the person at the other end to accept my call.
"Taehyung?", Kihyun suddenly spoke up and he really sounded quite confused. I certainly didn't know why I called him, after all I wanted to stay with Jeongguk for the remaining days, but now I wanted to leave. As fast as possible. I wanted to get away from Jeongguk so I wouldn't have to be near him anymore.
"P-Please pick me up, Kihyun...", I murmured and sobbed loudly. Kihyun has become an important person in my life during the last weeks, like a big brother who I could trust with every inch of my body's. I trusted him and enjoyed his closeness very much. He comforted me quite often. And he never slapped me...
For a moment it was quiet at the other end of the line, then I heard Kihyun say with a serious voice, "I'll be there in 15 minutes."

With an empty glaze, I stared at the cup of hot tea that Kihyun has placed in front of my nose. I wasn't thirsty, but he still has made me one.
"What happened, Taehyung? I thought you wanted to spend the week with Jeongguk. After all, you couldn't wait for Irene and me to disappear so you two could be all alone". I still had tears in my eyes, slowly running down my cheeks while the right one was glowing in all the red tones that existed on Earth.
Sniffing, I wiped the tears with my big sweater briefly away. Even for dressing, I had been too disintegrated, because I just wanted to get away from there as soon as possible. I had put on the biggest oversize sweater and the most comfortable jogging pants.
In contrast to my red, swollen eyes and the equally red nose, one could think that I had had several existential crises behind me. I was completely exhausted. I would never have thought that Jeongguk would slap me, yet he still has done it.
"H-H-He... slapped my face...", I whimpered and buried my face in my warm hands when another wave of tears and sobs hit me.
"He what?!", Kihyun asked totally shocked and widened his eyes. He probably never expected his cousin Jeongguk to lay a hand on me. I repeated my sentence, sobbing and rubbed over my swollen to desperately get rid of those annoying tears, but more and more came. There was no end.
The raven-haired cousin pushed his messy hair back with one hand, mumbled a little swearword and walked up and down the big kitchen.
"Out of nowhere? Or did something happen?", he asked then and sat down next to me at the table, in order to stroke my back gently and give me some comfort which I really needed that moment. As well as I could, I told him what had happened, but from time to time I broke up my sentence to whine.
"Fuck, Taehyung...", Kihyun cursed angrily and rubbed over his forehead with his left hand, "No wonder why this idiot slapped you. I told you that Jeongguk has a shitty past that formed his character! And that girl was exactly the reason why Jeongguk swore to himself that he never wants to have a relationship again! Because of her, he also became this cold bad boy."
Confused I frowned. This girl is the reason for all this mess...?
"What happened between her and Jeongguk? Who is she?", I asked with a shaky voice, but Kihyun just shook his head and turned away. He obviously didn't want to tell me, but this time I wouldn't give in so easily.
After all, I got a slap from Jeongguk because I had asked who she was. And I would definitely get my answer.
"Please Kihyun...", I begged and reached out for his wrist, "I beg you from the bottom of my heart. Please tell me what happened... I'm completely lost right now because I don't know why Jeongguk reacted like this! Please, Kihyun..."
However, Kihyun released his wrist again and got up. He walked around the kitchen again and seemed pretty depressed. Kihyun certainly didn't want to tell anything about Jeongguk's past. But as I said... I wouldn't give up until I have my answer.
"Kihyun, please... I have accepted Jeongguk just the way he is. I didn't care that he was a bad boy! Fuck, I even stayed with him when he didn't want to have a relationship. I stayed unhappy in bed for several days but I still never leaved him! I beg you, please tell me!"
"Damn it!", Kihyun finally said with a loud voice and turned around to look at me, "Jeongguk is the reason why she is dead now, okay?! He pushed the girl on the picture in front of a moving car and she died!"
