Rua Pov
Yesterday night after talking with Ruth I was happy and giddy to know that she is going to stay with us here I missed Ruth so much she always had my back when I needed it. She is one of those people who know how to keep me grounded and slap me if it is necessary. Eli's cry pulled me out of my thoughts looked at him and saw him already staring at me with his blue eyes as if he wants to comprehend what am I think off I smiled at picked him up from his crib I love carrying Elijah he so cute that I want to carry him everywhere that when I realized two things 1. I never met Eli's dad I dont even know how he looks like and never did he come to check on him nor called anyone to know how he is doing worst he didn't even meet me his son's nanny what father is he I mean come on any father would be interested to know what is happening in this kids life dont they and specially a child who is not even one year old seriously when I meet him he is going to get it. 2 this is worst than the first I only have one week to spend with Eli after a week I have to join the university and I will not be able to meet Eli anymore after this week. the thought of leaving Eli is just making me cry I dont know how will I be able to go through not seeing this bundle of joy. On that I still have to talk with Mrs. Williams about me quitting the job as a nanny. Just then Mrs. Williams enters the room with a bright smile on her face.
"Hello Rua. How are you? and How is my little baby boy doing?" She asked taking Eli from my hands.
"Hello Grace. Am fine and Eli doing great. How are you?" I said
"Well am doing great knowing that I have the best nanny to take care of my grandson" She replied and I felt guilty for what am going to say next but I cannot ignore it as well either.
"Uhh Grace i wanted to talk to you regarding the job"
"Okay. What is it Rua" She asked
"Grace I cannot be Eli's nanny anymore because my university is going to next week and I would be busy with the work there so I would not be able to work anymore I hope you understand. I said
"You really want to quit because we can still work this out you know I could help you and..." I interrupted her and said
"No no Grace am happy to know that you want to help but I can manage I just wanted to inform you at the earliest so that you could find another nanny for Eli" I said
"Rua please think about it again if you want I can pay to more.."
"No Grace its not about the pay if possible I would work even if you do not pay me but I want to focus on work and this is what I want please." I said
"Alright if that's what you want" she said with sadness in her voice
"You know Rua if you want you can take an off for the day and come back tomorrow morning I will take it from here" she said
I thanked Grace and left the mansion because I couldn't stay there if I haven't said before I am very emotional person. I didn't want to stay alone I went to park near by and sat there looking at kids playing it was nice and peaceful then I though I could make this week memorable to both Eli and me or I made note of what I wanted to do the entire week starting form park to aquarium's to zoo park and many other place and though I would also buy something for Eli as a fare well gift from my side to him. After making the notes I was about to leave when I bumped into someone. I looked up and saw who I bumped into it was a man he was looking at me with mischievous eyes and a smirk which showed arrogance and that when I realized he had his arms around me and I immediately moved away from his embrace.
"Hey Sweetheart. Am Blake, Blake Robbinson" He said
"Hi" I replied and was about to walk away when I called me again.
"Hey, if I remember correctly I just introduced myself dont you think you should do that same" he said
"I dont know may be I dont want to introduce" I replied
"Why? dont you think am handsome" He asked with a smirk plastered on his face
"No I think you are the most arrogant person I know Blake so if you excuse me I would take your leave" I said and walked away from him only to have him walk by my side that's exactly what you get when you walk away Uhhhh
"What is it Blake" I asked
"Nothing Sweetcheeks" he said. Did he just call me Sweet cheeks.
"Don't call me that " I said
"Okay babe" He said
"DONT"
"Sweety pie"
"No"
"Cutie"
"Dont"
"little flower"
"What the hell Blake what do you want?" I yelled
"Name"
"All this you did only to know my name why?" I asked
"Its cute when you are all agitated you know that Cutie" He said
"Dont call me that Blake" I said
"So tell me your name then if not get used to hear me calling you with that name" he challenged
"Okay Rua, Rua Roy" I replied
He looked at me for two minutes but it felt like an hour and people he spoke "Rua Roy hmmm.. you know maybe I know you wait a minute" he said and removed his phone and was calling someone more like video calling someone and that's when I heard him.
"You better have a good reason calling me Blake otherwise I will not think twice to send people behind you." the person on the phone said
"Okay so I met a girl today in the park and...." he didn't let blake finish his sentence and started speaking.
"That's it am cutting the call Blake I dont have time to listen about your next prey and I pity whoever that girl is because she doesn't know what a manwhore your are." He said and I was laughing
"Am very much honoured to know that you think of highly of me but I wish you to see the girl because I want to spend my rest of the life with her. " He said and I was glaring at him pretty hard he saw what I was doing and just smirked before turning his mobile towards me.
When he did I saw him working and he wasn't even looking at the screen. "dude say something to her" Blake said
"Hi whoever you are congratulations you got yourself a manwhore and yes I accept this relationship you have my say in it." He said still not looking at the screen.
"Oh my god Thank you Thank you so much you just made my day bro" Blake said jumping
"You know if I were you I would atleast look at the girl who the manwhore is getting tide too you know Brother" I said
With that said I saw my brothers head turn towards the screen with a such a speed that I thought he might break his neck when he saw me he was shocked. "So you are okay if I get married to this manwhore here" I asked
"What the fuck are you doing with him" Om yelled
"Language" I said
"Oh fuck language what are you doing with Blake and where is that Assole?" he said
"that assole is right here by my side and enjoying his best show" I replied
"You two do realize that I am right here and can hear everything that you are saying" Blake said
"I know" we said in unison
"So brother-in-laws are we now Om. ohh how much I like this I finally did it" Blake said.
"Never in trillion years you will be my brother-in-law assole." Om replied
"Why am the best your sister could get you know" Blake said
"No, I would rather have my sister die with a cat in her old age than get her married to you" Om said and it was hilarious.
"What brother are you"
"A good brother. A brother who loves his sister to death and would not let anyone hurt her and specially an idiot like you" Om replied
"Whatever bro but I really like you sister and am gonna try every possibility to try hit on her" with that said he cut the call.
"You do realize that you just 1. cut the call on my brothers face 2. and digging your own grave right.
"Oh yes I do realize that I did both of them but its nothing that I cant handle it right" he said
"Over confident much" I replied
"yeah come on I will drop you home. I dont want my chances to become Om's brother-in-law go waste." he said and started walking towards the park entrance.
I looked at him and smiled at his behaviour. He is nice. I shouldn't have judged him immediately. And I walked towards him to the entrance.
