The big day had come.....everyone was downstairs setting up to start the haldi function......Juhi and arjun were already sitting at their spots with a curtain between them.....resulting them to not see each other....all the guest had arrived .....the arrangements were done....and now it was time to start the ceremony.....
Bela:"chaliye bhabhi ji pehele aap suru kijiye arjun ki haldi..."(taiji comes and applies haldi on arjun followed by other adults....chachaji chachiji...vivek vishaka all apply haldi to arjun....)
Chachaji:"baccho an tum bhi ek ek karke haldi lagado..."
Naina:"ji chachaji ji....(naina goes and applies haldi on arjun while arjun smiles at her....and after each and everyone sameer also applies haldi...)
Sameer:(taking some haldi in his hands)"arjun..."
Arjun:"hmm..."
Sameer:"sorry....(arjun looks confused while sameer smirks and smudges haldi on his whole face...all laugh....)
Arjun:"tumhe toh ne tumhari shaadi me bataonga...."
Sameer:(looking at naina)"meri shaadi ko toh time hai...abhi tum aapni shaadi ka mazza lo..."
Chachiji:"chalo naina ab yeh arjun ki haldi Jake juhi ko lagao..."(naina went to juhi side and everyone again applied haldi on her....)"naina ja Jake yeh bachi hui haldi bhagwan ji ke samne rakhde"
Naina:"ji chachiji..."(here sameer gets up to go and wash his hands with haldi on....and on the other side naina goes to get the haldi bowl......both don't see each other and bumb into each other causing the haldi in sameer hand to be on naina shoulder and a little bit of haldi from naina bowl on sameers dress....and they both got lost in each other..)
Taiji:"o bai bholuram theek toh ho na tum..."
Sameer:(coming to his senses) "ji ji taiji...naina tum theek ho...."
Naina:"haan ...sorry chachiji saari haldi toh gir gayi. ..."
Rishtedar 1(R1):"arre naina tune toh shagun kar diya.....agar dulha dulhan ki bachi haldi kisi lardka ya lardki pe gir jaye toh kehete hai ki agla number shaadi ka unka hota hai....arre beena behen me toh keheti hoon naina ke liye bhi rishta dhoondna Suru kardo...."
Taiji:"ne wah neki aur poch poch....maine toh already dhondna start kar diya .....iski bhi jald se jald shaadi karwani hai...waise bhi bina maa ki bacchi hai...saari zimadari toh humhari hi hui na...."
Vivek:"aare per itni jaldi kaise behenji....abhi toh naina college me hi hai....college Toh khatam hone do..."
Taiji:"aare bhaisab...college jake kya kar legi yeh lardkiyan.....aage Jake ghar aur pati ki hi seva karni hai ...."(these words made sameer anger...sameer looked at naina who sensed his anger and motions him not to do anything)
Sameer:(controlling his anger)"taiji essa thori hai...naina bahut bright student hai ...aur aag kal toh lardkiyan bhi lardko se kaam kahan....aaj jo post pe lardke kaam karte ushi post pe lardkiyan bhi kaam karti hai....aur naina ki kabiliyat dekh ke me itna toh kehe sakta hoon...ki woh hum sabko...aapne pariwar ko saural ko aur aapne pati ko bahut garv mehesos karwaye gi....kyun chachaji maine sahi kaha na..."
Chachaji:"haan beta...aur bhabhiji me naina aur preeti dono ki shaadi kisi bhi ese waise se nahi karne wala....naina aur preeti ki shaadi ek acche ghar ne hogi...jo uski kabiliyat ko samje...aur lardkiyon ko bhoj na samje...."
Tauji:"aare beena Anand yeh sab kya leke behete ho...chalo juhi aur arjun ko upper leke gao aur shaam ke liye ready karwao....aur naina preeti tum dono mehemano ke kahane khane peene la dhayan do....amrita swati hema aur kamya beta jao Jake juhi ko ready karne me help kardo...air baccho(talking to the boys ) tum sab arjun ko..."
Sameer:"aap chinta mat kijiye tauji hum ready kar denge..."
All got busy in their work....upstairs the dulha dulhan were getting ready....naina and preeti helped other people get ready and have their lunch.....all the haldi preparations were changed with shaadi prep....It was around 6 in the evening when everything was ready.....mundit got the house for the dulha....and now all the men of the house headed a little bit far from the society to come in the barat.....it was around 7:30 at night by now...
In preena room....
Juhi was ready in the bridal dress....and the girls were standing around her all dressed in different color lehenga...
Pooja:"juhi I know tumhe nervousness ho raha hoga per don't worry sab theek hoga....tum has iss pal ko enjoy karo...."
Juhi:"thanks pooja didi..."
Amrita:(coming in the room)"naina woh log barat leke aa Gaye...."
Preena:"sachi...hum aate hai bhabhi..."(and the girls ran to the patio....naina looks down to see the boys dancing at the barat....sameer looks up to see naina and secretly winks at her....)
Beena:"oh lardkiyon yahan se barat ho dekhti rahogi yeah neeche bhi chalogi..."(they all head down to see juhi parents doing aarti and welcoming the barat in....after all the rituals at the front ...the groom is taken to be seated on the stage while the girls being the bride down and make her sit next to the groom...)
Preeti:"waise juhi bhabhi...aaj toh bhaiya bahut handsome lag rahe hai na..."(aruhi blushes while all laugh)
Rakesh:"oh bina baat ke kiki karna band kar aur ja jake mehemano ko dekh...."
Naina:"ji papa..."(naina goes and get drinks for everyone....to vivek)"papa...aap kya lenge chai ya coffee..."
Vivek:"hum toh chai lenge..."
Vishaka:"beta tum haanth ki mehendi dekhana..."(naina shows her hand to see the mehendi color being dark)"dekho toh Zara kitna dark color aaya hai...mera beta wakayi times bahut pyaar karta hai haan..."(naima blushes )
Naina:"me me aati hoon..."(and she left...soon it was time for varmala.....everyone gather around the stage while the gang was on the stage with aruhi......)
Phula:"chalo juhi beta varmala pehenao Arjun ko..."(juhi nods and tries to put the varmala on arjun but mundit pick up arjun in the air....seeing them romeer pick juhi up in the air.....)
Sameer:"common juhi dalo...."(Juhi after few tries makes arjun wear the varmala....and same with arjun...after they are made to pose with people for photos....)
Panditji:"shaadi ka muhurat ho gaya hai....aap dulha aur dulhan ki mandap me beheta dijiye..."
Taiji:"ji Pandit ji...naina preeti....arjun aur juhi ko le aa...."
Preeti:"ji taiji..."(arjun and juhi sat in the mandap and the Pandit ji started to recite the mantras....)
Swati:(whispering to naina)"naina tune jhoote liye na...."
Naina:(confused )"jhoote..."
Swati:"aare bhoodu arjun bhaiya ke jhoote...."
Naina:"oh haan woh hai mere pass hai...."
Kamya:"or haan sameer lardki walon ki taraf hai hai...toh sameer rohan munna Pandit ke haanth jhoote nahi pardne chahiye ....samaj gayi..."
Naina:"arre haan yaar...."
Preeti:"waise tune jhoote chupaye kaha hai...."
Naina:"neeche dekh...."
Preeti:"neeche?"(she confusingly looks down to see naina wearing arjuns shows...)
Swati:"wah naina yahan se toh jhoote kabhi bhi chori nahi honge....tune yeh socha kaise .."
Naina:"maine nahi sameer ne..."
Girls:"sameer?..."
Naina:"haan woh hua kya ki..."
Flashback to after varmala....
Naina secretly took arjun shows and goes upstairs to hide it....she was finding a place to hide the shows when she hears a sound of clearing throat from behind she turns to see sameer standing by the door....
Naina:(quickly hiding the shows behind her)"sa...sameer tum yahan...."
Sameer:"haan me....per tum yahan kya kar rahi ho ...."
Naina:"kuch kuch nahi...."
Sameer:(coming closer)"accha...."
Naina:"haa.. haan(sameer keep coming closer while naina moves back....while she was lost in his eyes....he swiftly takes the shows from her hands .....)
Sameer:(moving back and holding the shows in front of her)"toh yeh chupa rahi thi tum..."
Naina:(coming to sence )"sameer muhje wapas do ......yeh cheating hai..."
Sameer:"everything is fair in love and war....."
Naina:"sameeeerr...(she whines )
Sameer:"naainnaa (he copies her)
Naina:"Sameer plz jhoote dedo....pls..."(she said cutly )
Sameer:"ahhh nahi naina..."
Naina:"pls...."(sameer nods no and heads out......)"aare yaar naina tu pagal hai....tere hantho se sameer ne jhoote le liye aur tu...tu kuch bhi nahi kar payi...ab kya karon....."(she sits their with a said face....just than she sees the shows in front of her face...she looks up to see sameer standing their holding the shows....he signals her to take it...she smiles and was about to take it when sameer pulls the shows back.."
Sameer:(seeing naina frown)"accha sorry naina....yeh lo...(he gives her the shows...)
Naina:"thank you sameer...."
Sameer:"no worries madam.....ab pooja di ki shaadi ne toh tum logo ko aapna shagun nahi mila...toh iss baar tum log hi lelo jhoote..."
Naina:"accha ji itni meherbani kis liye..."
Sameer:"bas aapke ek muskhaan ke liye..."(he said bending to her level while she blushes)
Naina:"chal hato...accha sameer tum neeche jao..."
Sameer:(frowns )"kyun...."
Naina:"Mr. Bholuram....jab tak aap yahan se jayenge nahi tab tak me yeh jhoote kaise chupayongi...."
Sameer:"arre tum muhjepe thora sa bhi vishwas nahi karti...pakka promise kisi ko nahi bataonga tumne jhoote kahan chupaye hai..."
Naina:"Accha accha theek hai..vishwas hai tumpe.....per me yeh jhoote kahan chupaon...."
Sameer:"naina ek idea hai"
Naina:"kya..."(he points towards her shows and she understands....)
Flashback ends....
Kamya:"matlab sameer ko pata hai..."
Naina:"haan..."
Panditji:"ab aap dono phere ke liye kharde ho gao..."(all surround the mandap and aruhi starts to take 7 phere....after that arjun ties mangalsutra and applies sindor in her hair line.......after all the rituals were done arjun and juhi were finally husband and Wife......)
Taiji:"ne wah....ho gaya shaadi...."(aruhi gets up from the mandap....)
Arjun:"arre mere Jhoote..."
Naina:"yahan hai bhaiya..."(she hands him his shows....)
Bela:"accha chalo ab baki ki rasam puri kar lete hai..."(and they all head up to finish th remaining after marriage rituals...)
After 2 hrs of after marriage rituals all the guest had left ....except the parents of juhi and the meheswaris....
Vivek:"chaliye ab hum bhi chalte hai..."
Juhi's dad:"arre vivek ji kal subhe 4 bhaj mandir me pooja hai arjun or juhi ke liye...sirf hum hi rahenge....toh aap sab aayega...I know bahut subhe hai per puri shaadi me sameer aur rohan ne juhi ke bhai ka farz nibaya...toh agar aap sab kal wahan honge toh humhe accha lagega..."
Vishaka:"hi zaror hum aayenge....per abhi hum chalte hai kal subhe milenge...woh lau garden ke samne wala mandir right..."
Chachaji:"ji haan behenji..."
Vivek:"theek hai hum chalte hai bye..."(they bid bye and leave...all couple smiles at each other as the boys leave...)
Hema:"hum bhi chalte hai chachiji..."
Chachiji:(to kamya hema swati and amrita )"arre lardkiyon ruku...bahut raat ho gayi hai...yahin ruku...maine tumhare ghar pe bol diya hai...ki aaj tum sab yahin ruku ge...aur kal pooja ke baad shaam tak ghar chale gana..."
All:"theek hai chachiji..."
Chachiji:"accha naina juhi ko arjun ke kamare me leja..."
Naina:"ji chachiji..."
Sameer voice over.....
Aap log ne kabhi socha hai ki agar me ese karta toh kuch aur hota...ya waise karta toh kuch aur result aata hai......har insan yeh sochta hai.....ki khash results kuch agal ho.....per humhare hanth me kya hai...sab kuch toh kismat ka khel hai...aur jo khel kismat humhare saath khel rahi thi....uska pata toh humhe bhi nahi tha...ab iss khel ka result accha tha ya bura yeh toh waqt hi batayega...bas yeh samaj li jiye...ki aaj ki raat tufan se pehele shanti ki raat thi...kyunki kal jo tufan aane wala tha...uska eshesas hum bilkul bhi nahi tha....(laughs)
