The ship had arrived.

10 persons from the Hiramian East Indian Company touched their feet upon this unknown land. They had a flagbearer waving the old Hiramian East India Company flag. They walked around for a few miles, finding nobody, before reaching a small lake.

The lake was full of water, of course, but it also contained many mammals, and a unusual bird. The bird was written down in a old person's logbook.

(Translated)

This bird was unusual... it has black and white feathers, large eyehules, and was squaking unusually. I have never seen it before, so it astonishes me that it exists.

Who knows if God, almighty Hiramia or our fellow men, will find our bird beautiful?

They left the bird alone, walking easternwards. Some smoke would signal them that way, leading the 10 men to a tiny civilisation of about 500 persons, probably natives.

They took note of the huts and buildings the natives had made.

A old man, a elder, had stumbled upon the 10 men. His skin was brownish.

The man had told them in a native language to follow him. Since the 10 Hiramians don't know the language he was speaking, they ignored him, but took note of him.

(Translated)

An unknown person had approached us. The skin wasn't our normal skin, it is like a native skin of brown. I do not know wether or not he is a Hyramiaen.

The commander of the men, Kayneso Mae Junestahn, lead the 10 men towards whom he believed was a chief. The chief was a young man, of about 26 years of age. His name was Kushikimika. A translator, who knew the language and some semblance of Hiramian, stated to Kushikimika that they were here to form a trading post in his land. Kushikimika said to the translator that it is not his land that they will take or operate in.

The statement was read to the remaining 9 men, and they thought that Kushikimika was saying no.

The men had walked back to the ship, some were angered. The ship was medium sized, what is now the current HIMS Großes Reich, a gunship with 12 guns, 6 on each side, and can carry up to 200 persons. There were, indeed, 200 persons inside, some of them armed with weapons. This took place in the late 1600s, meaning they had little weapons, only swords, blades and spears.

Upon hearing the news, the ship captain, Konety Aelsne, ordered a small ship council, for whether or not to attack the settlement. 183 persons had eagerly said yes. The rest said no. Of those 183 persons, 100 had weapons and were trained to fight, and of those, only 42 were actual soldiers.

At the moment, 190 persons had left the ship, including the Captain, the 183 persons, and a few soldiers who said no. A military commander who was ordered to protect the ship immediately ordered the 190 into formation. They split into 3 groups of 61 persons. Group 1 went to the left of the settlement, Group 3 went to the right of the settlement. Group 2 was to ambush anyone leaving the settlement.

At the sound of a yell, the yell to charge, Groups 1 and 3 begun their attacks. The overwhelmed defense of 50 tried to fight fiercely, killing 30 Hiramians, but at the cost of 20 tribesmen. They ran towards a road, leading to another settlement. At once, at that sight of retreat, Group 2 ambushed the retreating men and left no mercy.

It was obvious that a decisive Hiramian victory had been achieved. At once, they collected the dead and injured, totaling 67, before retreating towards the ship. Only 20 persons remained to build that trading post, or at least part of it, before the ship left after those 20 persons retreated back to the ship.

It took months to head home, to tell the King of Hiramia, King Alexander XI, about the new land and the struggle, and for more ships to be sent to said area.

Hiramia became a empire, and that trading post would become one of many to be lead by the leadership of the grey and blue Hiramian cross.
