You weren't sure how you ended up here, but you fell right into Thorins lap, much to his embarrassment and everyone's shock. They all questioned where you came from and why you fell from the sky but you told them their guess was a good as yours. At first, they were hesitant to let you join, but after Gandalf said it was for the best they agreed. Thorin has Dwalin teach you swords, they tried getting you to change your clothes but it didn't work and they all shared stories of middle earth for you. Though, naturally you drifted towards Fili and Kili with them being your age and the three of you became fast friends.
Tonight you were sat listening to Bofur sing around the campfire. As his song drew to a close you all clapped.
"What about you lass?" He asked.
"'Me?"
"Yeah! What about music from where you come from?" Kili asked excitedly.
"Well there's loads of different kinds. I listen to most of it."
"Sing us something?" He asked.
"Uhm... okay."
Sitting there you wracked your brain for a song you knew relatively well. There was one that came to mind and you let you an inaudible sigh.

Standing up, you stuffed your hands in your hoodie pockets as you pulled out your phone, putting an earphone in your pressed play and took a breath. Even Gandalf and Thorin came closer to listen.

With the final line you took a deep breath and scratched the back of your neck, pulling the earphone from your ear before stuffing it back in your pocket. Before you could take a step someone lunged at you, wrapping their arms tightly around you as they pulled you to the floor with them.
"Kili..." you whispered.
Kili pulled away and wiped the tears from both his face and yours, you weren't even aware you started crying. You two were the only ones, everyone else was sniffling, but they kept their distance.
"W.. who hurt you..?" His voice cracked.
"It was just a song." You smiled.
"N.. no! You wouldn't cry if it was just a song!"
Kili gently placed his palms to your cheeks and he pressed his forehead against yours and you couldn't help but close your eyes.
"You told me, you only listen you songs you can feel. I don't know what that means but it wasn't just a song."

"I was heartbroken, I still was when I came here. But then I met you, and Kili I forget all about it."
Kili smiled and kissed your nose as he pressed his head against yours once more.

"Is like that." You smiled, pressing your nose to his.
There were claps and awes around the camp and the pair of you pulled back. Kili pulled you back to his bedroll where you immediately cuddled into his side.
"Hey lass?"
"Yea Bofur?"
"What's a cigarette?"
"Oh! What does mate mean?" Bilbo yelled over.
You laughed and shook your head, wiggled deeper into Kili and started your explanation
