To the one I loved the most

Tears Become Oceans

This pain comes in waves
And tonight it hits me so hard
I might just drown
What is the point in swimming
If I know when I reach the surface
There will be no life boat
To bring me to dry land
Why should i keep holding my breath
If i know there is no hope
In recovery
I could never escape these currents
My mind screams for me
To let the water fill my lungs
But still I hold on to the false hope
That is my ability to swim
I turn my face back into my pillow
And let the waves take me
