Avu rushed outside while the doctors rushed in.
Abhi : We heard a code blue from room 201. Is everything OK?
Avu : He had a cardiac arrest.
Avu : Please Sidd. You have to survive this.
In the morning
Vibha : Avneet Beta. You have been with Sidd the whole night already. You go home and take a rest. I will be with Sidd.
Avu : But maa, I don't want to leave him please. I hope he wakes up soon😢. Waiting for him to wake up is a real torture. Last night we were so close to loose him, maa.
Avu buried her head in Vibha 's arms, crying nonstop
Vibha : I know my son, Avu. He is a fighter. He will wake up soon. 😢
Sidd (holding his head in pain) : Avneet.....
Avu is shocked.
Avu : Sidd!!! Are you o--okay?
Avu : Can you hear me? Do you remember who I am?
Sidd : don't make me laugh as it really hurts. I know those eyes. You are my lovely wife, Avneet Nigam.
Sidd : My baby doll.
Vibha chuckled.
Vibha : I will give them some privacy they need.
Vibha left.
Sidd got up and sat down.
Avu : You shouldn't be getting up now. You are still weak.
Sidd : I am fine. Come sit with me.
Avu did as he said
Sidd : This must have been a really bad experience for you, My love.
Sidd : I am sorry for that
Avu : No. Don't say sorry.
Avu : Thank you for coming back to me. To us.
Sidd : You know I will never leave my family alone.
Sidd : When I was unconscious, I could hear your voice to me when I was surrounded by nothing but darkness.
Sidd : I followed that voice and it led me back to you
Sidd placed his hand above mine and I weaved my fingers through his
Sidd : I will never let go of your hand again, Avneet
Sidd : Thank you for believing that I will come back.
Sidd : Thank you for having faith in me.
Avu : No! Thank you for keeping your promise. Thank you for surviving the worst situation.
Sidd : Nah! Thank you for staying with me. Your presence was and is my only strength.
Avu : Thank you for---
Sidd : Can we stop this thank you already?
Sidd : It is getting lame.
Avu : I love you Sidd.
Sidd : I love you more, Avu.
Days Later
Avu's POV:
Sidd and Avu are on bed, snuggling Sami together.
Life really does have a funny way to work out stuff.
As I stare there with the love of my life and my daughter snuggling with us, I can honestly say that I am more than happy.
4 years ago, I never thought my life would be perfect like this.
I will never take for a granted minute of my happiness. I will live my life everyday loving my husband and our little family.
This isn't the end of the story.
It's the end of a chapter.
We have yet many pages to write together.
And each one of our chapter will be perfect because Sidd and I will write it toegther.
Rising our daughter together to be strong. To be loyal.
And this chapter is which I am extremely excited to write.
