Chapter 18
SYDNEY'S POV
I wasn't surprise na paggising ko, I wasn't in my room at may mabigat na nakapatong sa may bandang tiyan ko.
Tumingin ako on my side and I saw Andrei na nakadapa sa kama with his one arm on top of me and his head turned towards me.
I can't help but smile when I remember what happened last night. It was so far, the most unforgettable night of my life.
Sa mga green minded diyan, mali kayo ng iniisip! Walang nangyaring milagro.
Last night, after the confession, we both just cuddled each other until we fell asleep. Pero kahit ganun lang yung nangyari, it was so memorable for me.
First time kong mafeel na mahal ako ng isang tao. Though Andrei had showed me that he cares for me, it was still different knowing we feel the same way towards each other.
Habang nakahiga pa rin, tumagilid ako para magkaharapan na kami ni Drei.
I watched his sleeping face. And I smiled to myself seeing how peaceful he looks.
Not being contented with only seeing him, I touched his face. I caressed his cheek while drawing different patterns on it.
God! Thank you for giving this man to me. I am so blessed.
I love him so much.
And still not able to help myself, I kissed his cheek.
Naalimpungatan yata siya with what I did because he stirred in his sleep and moaned before slowly opening his eyes.
When he saw me looking at him intently, he smiled widely and greeted me.
"Good morning babe." he said habang kinukusot kusot pa yung mata niya.
"Good morning din. Gising ka na. Malalate ka sa office." I said and smiled at him.
"I love you." he suddenly said out of nowhere
"I love you too." I said back
Kagabi pa kami nageexchange ng I love you pero mukhang hindi pa rin kami nagsasawang banggitin ang word na yun sa isa't isa.
"Hatid kita sa school." he said again
"Mamaya pa pasok ko." sagot ko
"It's okay. Ihahatid pa rin kita."
"Wag na. Papasundo na lang ako kina Tricia."
"Hindi kasi kita masusundo mamaya tapos hindi pa kita maihahatid."
"May meeting kayo?" I asked
"Yes. And I can't miss that." he answered
"I understand. Sa bahay na lang tayo magkita. I'll wait for you later."
Hindi pa man kami naghihiwalay, i'm sure I'll miss him for the whole day.
And after more sweet talks, we finally got up from the bed.
Akala ko nga, wala na kaming balak na tumayo pero we have responsibilities to attend to.
Kaya kahit gustong gusto kong mag-absent na lang siya from work, I restrained myself from doing so.
At labag sa kalooban ko na ihatid siya palabas ng bahay.
Pero before he leave, he whispered to me, "I love you so much." And then he kissed me on my cheek.

The whole day passed in a blur.
Wala naman masyadong nangyari aside from me getting a failure notice.
Well, I know I'm failing my subjects. Pati si Kayla at Tricia nakareceive din ng failure notice.
Hindi naman kasi talaga ito ang gusto naming career.
We were all forced na kuhanin ang path na to and obviously, hindi talaga kami fit dito.
Well, hindi rin naman talaga kasi kami nag-effort na pumasa.
It was our plan to purposely fail the course. Pero with what happened to me and Andrei recently, parang naguilty ako.
Hahanap na lang ako ng timing
para sabihin sa kanya yung pagfail ko.
Kinakabahan ako with what his reaction will be. Baka isipin niya isa talaga akong failure just like what my parents think of me. And I can't afford Andrei to think of me that way.
Siya lang ang meron ako.
