SYDNEY'S POV

"Mommy, wake up." It's been his way of waking me up. "Dad said we should let you sleep more, but I want to be the first one to give you your birthday present."

I slowly opened my eyes and I saw my baby looking at me with his wide smile. His hands are both behind him, probably hiding his gift for me. He looks so adorable.

The day he was born was the happiest day for Andrei and I. Kahit sobrang hirap at sakit ng panganganak, worth it lahat ng marinig ko na ang iyak niya at makita ko na siya.

We named him after the two of us. Marionne Andrei Sanchez. I really wanted to name him Andrei. And Andrei suggested we combine Marionne, my first name, with it.

"What did you get me honey?" Malambing kong sabi. I really don't mind if he wakes me up. I actually like seeing my little Andrei first thing in the morning.

"Here." He said while giving me what he's hiding in his back. It was a piece of paper.

It was his test paper with a 100 mark on it. I looked at him and he was looking back at me proudly. My baby is really good.

"Oh my God honey!" I said happily. Honestly, I don't expect much from my baby. Hindi namin siya pinepressure ni Andrei when it comes to his studies. As long as he doesn't get failing marks, then it's fine with us. And he always surprises us by getting high scores in every tests.

"I listened so hard to my teacher to get a perfect score Mommy." He told me. And he looks so cute while telling me his story. "I want to give you an expensive gift but I don't have money and I'm sure Daddy will give you one."

We really are blessed to have him in our lives. He completed the missing piece in me. He completed our family.

"Baby boy, I love your gift. Masaya si Mommy sa binigay mo. And don't worry about it's worth okay. Kahit hindi expensive ang bigay mo, Mommy still appreciates it so much."

I really couldn't ask for more.

"Happy Birthday Mommy! I love you! Thank you for being the best Mommy in the world." My baby said to me and kissed me in my cheeks.

Sobrang saya ko talaga kapag sinasabi niyang I'm the best Mommy. Kaya hearing him say those things makes me proud of myself because I know I am on the right track.

"Thank you Baby. Mommy loves you so much too." I said and started tickling him. He is begging me to stop but I was enjoying hearing him laugh.

Tiningnan niya kami ng nakangiti but his expression changed to something else. Parang may binabalak siyang masama.

"Daddy!" our little Andrei screamed as if he was calling for help.

I looked at our son. It was evident in his face that he was having a hard time. He actually thought his Daddy would save him from my tickling but instead, his Daddy tortured him more.
