AN. I just wanted to say massive thanks to everyone who's reading my story and I appreciate each and every one of you. 11k in a little over a month it's huge deal and I'm really excited for what's next 🥰 Anyway let's get into it.
Lauren's pov.
After I arrived to the photoshoot Tara quickly lead me to make-up artist and some other guy started showing me my outfits for today. No one really cared about what I was wearing. Thank God.
Atmosphere was a little bit thick out here, I could tell everyone was under pressure. But I couldn't care less. I was smiling mess after I left Camila's apartment and there's nothing that could possibly ruin my morning.
Everything was going smoothly so far, the pictures were amazing and I'm so thankful that I'm working with professional people this time. Sometimes photoshoots were just very unorganized and messy. People had no vision of what they actually want on their pictures which was always annoying to me.
After about an hour later I heard photographer saying that we have it and I sighed in relief. We had a quick look at the pictures and I must admit that he did a great job. When I was collecting my things I felt a tap on my shoulder and I saw Tara standing there with a smirk on her face.
''Good job today, Laur. But you didn't have to lie, you know?'' She said and I furrowed my eyebrows. '' I know that you forgot about that photoshoot so I just thought that I'll come by and remind you that you're leaving to Chicago tomorrow for that MTV event.''
I widen my eyes and opened my mouth but nothing came out. Of course I'm flying to Chicago, how could I forget that. I guess I was just so caught up in my girlfriend that it must've slip my mind.
''Yeah. Sure, of course. What time is the flight again?'' I said trying to sound casual.
''9 in the morning. We are trying to leave early cause we only have 2 days down there.''
''Right. Perfect just text me the details.'' I said smiling.
''Sure. Just please don't be late.'' She said and I chuckled.
I said my goodbyes to everyone and thanked them again. I was on my way to the exit but Tara's voice stopped me.
''Lauren.. I just wanted you to know that I'm really happy for you and Mila. I haven't seen you that giddy in a while and I'm just... yeah. I wish you both all the best. '' She said quickly when i turned around.
''Thanks Tara, I really appreciate that.'' I smiled and gave her small hug.
I know we aren't on the best terms yet but I could see her trying and I'm really happy that I don't have to look for a new manager. I left quickly after that and drove to my apartment.
I took a quick shower and changed into something more comfortable. I picked some blue ripped jeans and black band tshirt. I still wanted to look nice for Camila so I put some extra make-up and curled my hair. When I was ready I packed my bag for the next two days and sent Camila a text.

Hey I'm almost ready to go. Do you want me to pick something up on the way?

Okay, babe. I have everything set. You can get us a bottle of wine if you want, and then maybe stay the night?
My heart fluttered when she called me babe. After smiling at my phone like an idiot I typed back.

I gathered my things and drove off to my girlfriend's house. I stopped in a shop and got us a nice bottle of white wine. I arrived few minutes later and knocked on the door. I heard the knob turning and that revealed Camila.
She was looking flawless as always. Her hair in light waves and light make up on her face. She was wearing flowered summer dress that stopped in the middle of her thighs and brown flats. She smiled when she saw me and gave me quick peck on the lips.
"Hey Laur." She said pulling away, still smiling.
"Hi, babe. I missed you." I said pouting.
"You only saw me this morning you weirdo." She laughed and I couldn't stop myself and pecked her lips once more.
She took my hand in hers and lead me to the kitchen. I put the wine on the counter and Camila took out the glasses. She smiled at me and I pulled her closer to me, putting my hands on her waist while hers immediately went to my neck.
"You look gorgeous. I don't know how I got so lucky." I said looking her up and down.
"Look who's talking." She slapped my arm gently. "Someone is in a good mood today." She started running her hands through my hair and I hummed.
"Yeah I had a great day yesterday, I finally got myself a girlfriend you know." I said smirking.
"Oh yeah? I'm so happy for you, can't wait to meet her." She said playing along.
"She's closer than you think." I said and started slowly caressing her spine. She let out a sigh and her lips turned in a smile.
"Come on you goof. I want to show you something." She said and kissed my cheek.
I grabbed the bottle of wine while she took the glasses and I followed her to the tarrace. She opened the door to the garden and my eyes widened.
There were blankets and pillows set up on her trampoline. She also put some lights around it and I saw her laptop already set up with a movie. There was a basket with snacks and drinks and everything just looked so cozy and magical.
"Wow Camz, that's amazing." I said in awe.
"I know this is probably not a perfect date but I just had that idea in my head and I wanted you to relax, cause I know you've been working really hard lately."
My heart started beating faster and I can't belive that she did that for me. I know that she cares about me and our feelings are mutual but little things like that just makes my heart flutter.
"Thank you baby, that's perfect. I actually needed that so bad. We don't have to go to fancy dinners to have a nice date. I'd much prefer staying in and cuddling all night."
"Wow where's the badass Lauren that I knew. You're getting sappy, babe." She laughed and pulled me to the trampoline.
When we were both settled and comfortable I opened the wine and poured some for both of us.
"I'm not sappy, I just like to spend time with you like we are normal young adults you know. Cute dates like that just makes me feel like we are regular couple like everyone else, not a fucking celebrities."
"I know, Laur. When I'm with you I feel like the world doesn't exist. It's just you and I." She said smiling at me gently.
"I always knew you're the romantic one but damn." I chuckled and looked down at her lips. " I think you deserve a real kiss for that." I said leaning in.
I closed my eyes and she did the same. I pressed my lips to hers gently and kissed her slowly. There was nothing sexual about it. We were just expressing our feelings without actually saying it. I gently sucked on her bottom lip and caressed her cheeks. I swiped my tongue over her lip and she opened her mouth slightly. We started kissing more passionately and when I felt Camila pulling at my hair I pulled away. We were both smiling so widely and I saw the happiness in her eyes.
"I have to tell you something babe. Sorry that's so random but I actually forgot about it to be honest. I have to leave to Chicago tomorrow, I have some event there with MTV." I said and I put her hair behind her ear so I could see her beautiful face better.
"For how long you'll be gone?" She asked and I saw small frown on her face.
"It's only two days, babe. But I promise I'll text you and call you when I'm there." I said and she hummed.
"Okay, I guess you can go then." She said smiling softly.
I pecked her lips again and then kissed her temple.
"I'll miss you."
"I'll miss you too but let's just enjoy our night night, baby. I promise when I come back I'll book all day off so we can spend some time together. Maybe go to the beach what do you think."
"I'd love to." She said and I put my arms around her.
When we got comfortable again she put on a movie and we just spend all night talking and exchanging lazy kisses. I couldn't have it any other way.
