A quite snore went through our whole bedroom, the birds chirping me awake. Singing it's beautiful song. Envy grew in me, for the birds and their freedom, how they can roam around the world with wings and see it. The way everyone had looked at them and saw nothing more than goodness.

My skin was sleek with dried sweat as I tore my body away from Orion. The bed creaking at my movement. The only sound in the room as the birds stopped chirping. My body shivered at the cool air as it touched my torso. Orion mumbled and grabbed me down. "Let go." His arm was heavy, making no effort to move.

I sighed and shoved his arm away. The bed shifted as he turned his body to face me. Slightly lifting his torso, his eyes still dreaming. Both of our bodies were tired, tired enough I had slept peacefully through the night.

I shifted my legs towards the edge of the bed, the movement enough to sent an ache between my thighs. Embarrassment coiled around my skin, making me awfully aware of last night.

The heavy breathing between us, filling up the room. The light groans Orion made and the little squeals my mouth sounded every time he moved. Our bodies pressed together, merging into one. Becoming a unit.

He was gentle with every movement, kissing my cheeks lightly, pressing his hands around my waist. I felt like I was in the clouds, every beat of pleasure pulsing through me. He groaned but his eyes were scared. Scared to hurt me, he keep each thrust soft even if it had pained him too.

I saw it, the ache in chest raised as I pushed him down. My body trembled at the movement, I was panting while he bit his lips.
My voice was merely a whisper when I went close to his ear and bit it. "Don't hold back."

Orion's eyes became feral, so animal like. Our bodies pounded against each other, as much needed release overcame us both.

I shut down the thoughts as thinking about it made my body heat. "I'm taking a bath." Not particularly saying anyone as I ran towards the bathroom.

The cool water dripped down my spine, cooling the raging blood running in my body. I sighed and scrubbed my body, knowing I won't be cleaning it for a while. The journey to the capital of Agatheas was at least 2 weeks long without magic. My skin became raw and red through all the scrubbing.

The mirror was foggy when I left the shower. A small kiss print can be seen on the mirror. Orion must have made it when I showered.

I stared at it and wondered if I still loved him, even if we did make love last night, it was merely pleasure. The thought was painful to think about, I had once loved him with all my heart and even though I said I forgave him. I don't think I can every truly love him again without that memory coming up.

I opened the door the bathroom to enter my bedroom. A cool breeze touched my skin, opposing the heat coming out of the bathroom.
Orion left the room giving me privacy, leaving the bedroom neat with its teal sheets and bras furniture. My thoughts pushed toward the bond but it didn't reach him. He was too far for it to reach.

I sighed and took a mental note to thank him later. A pair of traveling clothes was seating on the end of the bed for me. It was a leather suit for traveling, providing warmth and coolness for any weather. The colours were black with silver accents made with common materiel. It was an unusual traveler outlook but I still wore it.

Thoughts flew around my head, thinking of what I needed. My eyes darted towards my dusty cabinet, the only unpolished furniture in my bedroom. I kept everything with value in the cabinet, carefully telling the maids to not touch it or their blood will spill. It was a warning that kept everyone away from it. The locks on the cabinet were intricate enough, no one would bother picking it unless they wanted something.

I reach under the mattress of my bed, a small hole I carved out from the bottom. In my hand laid a key. The key itself was daunting, an off white colour, similar to bones- shaped like a bone. It give an offsetting vibe that I hadn't looked or touched it long enough to take in it's details. Holding the bone made my hands shake as I opened the cabinet with it.

Click.

The lock opened, unleashing the contents in the cabinet. My stomach became queasy. The cabinet was filled with my old belongings, from pins to hunting gears. I didn't want to look more than I had too, bad thoughts had already resurfaced as my hands quickly grabbed what I needed. An old dagger, knifes, an arrow and a bow.

I was about to lock the cabinet when I saw a light twinkled from within. My hand grabbed it, shoving it deep in my pockets. The lock clicked close as shoved the key down other pocket, just to make sure no one goings snooping around while I was gone.

The walk towards the door was already dreadful, my weapons weighing heavy on me. I had lost weight and muscle over my time here. My eye caught a glimpse of my outfit. I looked like a hunter, not so common in the world now but still exists.

My black hair was still drying off, falling past my belly bottom. I had let it grow far too long for my liking. It had became a burden to carry, I'll most likely cut it when I came back- if I came back. My slightly up tilted eyes was not common, rare even in Agatheas but the colour of my eyes was even rarer.

It was gray with fractured silver flakes, my eyes were so different from everyone else that I valued it. Different was something I might learn to embrace, someday. A small sigh left my lips and with it, went my thought.

My footsteps echoed through the house with the servants gone for the holiday. Their was no noise except for Orion's and I. Orion stood outside the door, his eyes roamed around my body and didn't say anything.

I walked past him, a thundering beat with the quietness. A light tug pulled my mind, my eyes darting right at him. His face was surprised by how he did it. My lips became a thin line as I said with blind confidence. "I have 2 weeks to think about my plan so if you wanted to stop me now just say so."

I waited for his response and walked away when he hadn't.

Orion didn't say anything until we were walking down the stairs towards the front doors. "I gotten you a ride at least until the you reach the capital city. It should reduce the travel for a week. food is included." He smiled and touched my hands.

There it was, the feeling of safety he tried to assure me every time we were together. To shield me from the world. I leaned towards that safety. Safety I so badly wanted because I had never had it, it was one of the reasons I feel in love with him. But today I can't lean on him anymore and the comfort he provides.

A small nod came from me. I cut it off as I hissed at myself. A loud thud went through the house, as I threw a dagger at wall. He stood their in fear, full of it. He managed to turn out and saw one of Sirathia's magic wards in the house, to examine me and to see if I had left. "That's staying on the wall." I replied not bothering to look at where it landed. Orion's eyes were no longer fearful.

He squeezed my hand tighter, a silent conformation on what he would not say, didn't want to say. Come back alive please. I looked at his face on last time, savoring every detail until he touched my face, where my beauty mark laid, a few inches above my left jaw. He kissed it, and kissed the bottom of my right eye, where my other beauty mark was.

"I need to go now." I coughed my blood heating. Orion released his hand from my face and hand- leaving it cold. We only smiled at each other for a few moments when I turned and began walking towards the door. Towards the carriage.

The seats were plush and soft as I sat inside it. Before closing the door, I weaved a hand at Orion, a goodbye and he nodded. A shiver went through the bond and I knew what it had meant. He would not say goodbye but instead it would be see you later.

I closed the door to the carriage, and it began to move. His form became a little pea as we rode away from the house.

The ride was surprisingly smooth, We passed by buildings, old and new. Nostalgia feeling my mind. I choose this small town as home, away from all the busy cities around the capital. My hands dragged at the window, leaving fingerprints as I remembered the buildings that passed by.

I would buy bread at Aunt Relphy's bakery, Utilities at Jeen's and many more. My head leaned against the door as I shed a single tear. I would come back to this place. I hadn't realize I had valued this the most out of all the places I had been. The sound of people laughing and talking filled the streets.

I folded my hands and closed my eyes- venturing to the capital. To kill the youngest, son heir of Agatheas. I can kill, I had killed but I didn't wanted too. I mourned every life I took, this would be no different I told myself. But that was a lie, his life could bring a generation of happiness to this people and I would take that away from them.

My heart pounded loudly, I would kill him because I had too and hopefully he would forgive me when I did.
