She could feel it. It radiated from him and settled heavily on her heart. He was in pain. Pain from his lost love. Pain from having to reminisce in past memories.
Memories that weren't so pleasant. She wanted him to forget. She wanted to make him forget about her.
She wanted to make sure he didn't dwell in this pain and bury himself amongst his demons for too long.
She would do just that to make him happy.
