There was another man in her room. She was hidden in his arms, while her head lay against the man's chest.
The sound of her laughter. Which he had wanted to hear for such a long time, rang at his ears. It wasn't fake or made up. It was real. It showed she was happy.
When he cleared his throat, they both looked at him. His eyes weren't on the anonymous man. His eyes were on hers.
Her emerald eyes straight into his dark chocolate eyes. Hope reviced in him, but it died out when she turns away.
The way his heartbeat increased.
He knew one thing.
