ii. summary
three girls met in math class on the first day of freshman year. two of them were blonde, the third a brunette. the blondes had an air of excitement and hope to them. by the end of high school, the would be head cheerleaders. they'd have boyfriends on the football team. they'd be prom queens, their boyfriends prom kings. they'd be perfect, popular, princesses.
the brunette wanted all of that too, but she knew she couldn't have it. she didn't dress like her two new friends. her clothes were old, torn hand-me-downs. she didn't look like them either. her caramel skin stood out against their poster-pink complexions.
santana knew she would never be pretty and popular like them, until all of sudden she was.
but whilst her new friends were chasing the football playing boyfriends of their dreams, she sat and watched. she didn't understand what they felt when they talked about these boys that they kissed under the bleachers.
not until she felt exactly what they felt, when she too was kissed under the bleachers. only not by a boy.
