Author's pov
M/n laid, sprawled, on the grassy deck of the Thousand Sunny. He was chosen to stay put for the day, so the other crew members could search for supplies and maybe even kick some ass. The sun is just beginning to set. And M/n was all alone.
"Luffy..." M/n mumbles softly.
He silently prays that his boyfriend will be the first one back, so they can have some alone time. Even if it's just a couple of minutes. M/n sits up and sighs.
"A beautiful sunset and yet, here I am, gazing at it alone." He huffs.
M/n thinks back to the day he and Luffy tried creating a strawberry shortcake. The both of them obviously failed and burned half the kitchen. Sanji was not happy about it. M/n giggles, but then sighs. Luffy and M/n never got that alone time they wanted. The Strawhats were ambushed by some thug pirates an hour after the cake baking and the scolding from Sanji, but that fight did not last very long.
It has been two weeks since then.
"Ah! N/n-chan!" M/n stands up and looks toward the docking place of the island. It was Luffy!
"Lulu!" M/n waves happily.
Luffy swings his arms back and throws them forward. His arms stretch out and grasp onto M/n's shoulders. M/n stares in horror as Luffy's smile widens.
"Luffy-" Luffy jumps up. His body flies toward M/n.
Both males tumble backwards. M/n groans as he feels Luffy's arm wrapped around his waist. Luffy laughs. M/n rolls his eyes and sits up.
Luffy's pov
"Luffy~!" M/n whines.
"M/n~!" I reply back teasingly.
He huffs in annoyance. "That hurt."
"Uwah! Sorry, sorry!" I jump up and cup M/n's cheeks.
"Its fine..."
"Uh, what's wrong N/n?" I plop down in front of him, crossing my legs in the process
M/n shrugs. He lifts his knees up to his chest and hugs them tightly, "I... I'm not too sure... I just don't feel like myself today."
I watch as his eyes start welling up with tears. "N/n..."
He quicjly wipes the tears that slip from his eyes, "Ah- I'm sorry... I don't mean to cry."
I watch as tears jeep falling from his beautiful e/c eyes. I'm not sure what to do. He has never been like this. "M-M/n... I-I I don't know what to d-do..."
He sniffles, "D-do what?"
My throat begins to feel stingy and dry. "I don't want to see you cry."
He stares into my brown eyes with saddness. "Sorry... Can we just..." His voice dies down as he falls over and curls into a ball.
I stretch my arms out and wrap M/n up before bringing him closer to me. Setting him in my lap, facing me, I engulf him in a bear hug. He weakly wraps his arms around my body.
"It's been a while..." I mumbled.
"Hmm?" M/n hums faintly.
"Since we've done something like this." I reply sadly. "We're always on cool adventures and kicking ass, that we don't have much time to do something like this..."
M/n leans back from the hug and looks at me, "Hmm... But the cool adventures and ass kicking is apart of you becoming the pirate king."
"Shiishii, I guess it is! But I need some rest too! I need my meat and my N/n!" I say determinly.
M/n giggles, "But you're always energetic, you also don't know when to give up!"
"Persinence!" I raise my left arm and flex.
M/n chops my head lightly, "Baka! It's persistence!"
"Ehhhhh? Really?" I pout.
"Yes!" M/n rolls his eyes, but gives me a smile. "I swear, sometimes you seem too stupid to be the pirate king."
"HaH?!" Crossing my arms, I look away from M/n. "I am not stupid! I kick ass!"
M/n laughs, "But anyone can kick ass, Luffy!"
"Not like me! I'm a good ass kicker!" I retort. M/n throws his head back as he continues to laugh. "Oi, N/n-chwan! I don't see the problem here, why are you laughing?"
M/n wipes the tears that fell from his eyes from laughing, "Nothing, nothing!"
I pout, "Oiii!"
"Hai, captain Luffy!" He giggles. I puff out my cheeks and look away from M/n. "Uwah! Lulu, are you looking away from me?"
"Yes!"
"Whyyyyy?" He leans forward, trying to make me look at him.
I turn to look the other way, "Because!"
"Because why?"
"Because!"
M/n huffs. "Luluuuuuu~!" He slightly bounces in my lap in annoyance.
Slowly, I turn my head to face him, but still pouting. M/n smiles at me. He wraps his arms around my neck and leans in. My gaze shifts from his eyes to his tinted red lips.
"M/n." I plainly say his name.
"Yeah?" He leans back slightly, but I reach out with one hand and stop him from leaning back too far. He freezes in place. "Luffy-"
"Are you wearing Nami's lipstick?" Looking up, I see his eyes widen.
"U-um... A-and what if I-I am?" He tries leaning back again, but my grip on his waist tightens. So, he looks away from me.
I gently kiss his earlobe, "It suits you..."
M/n quickly turns to face me, face red with embarrassment, "A-ah, You-"
Before M/n could continue I grab his chin and pull his face toward mine, closing the gap between our lips.
"Hmm!" He hums in surprise. "Hmm~"
With his legs wrapped around my torso, I stand up and make my way into the closest room I could get into. The room just happened to be the boys room. Once we were in the room, the door slammed shut automatically(probably because of the weight). I was paying too much attention to M/n that I slipped and fell.
"ITAIIII!" M/n whacks my head.
I smile, "Sorry, sorry! Shiishishii!"
"It's not funny, my head hurts!" I feel his legs loosen aroubd my waist. I watch as he rubs the back of his head.
Leaning forward, I gently kiss his forehead, "A kiss will make you feel better!"
"OiiiIiI!" M/n blushes.
"What? Your kisses make me feel better!" I plop down on top of M/n.
"And yours will make me feel better?" He puffs his cheeks out in embarrassment.
I tilt my head, "Does it not?"
M/n wraps his arms around me a d burries his head in my chest, "I-it does... Thank you Lulu."
I roll on my side, "Shiishiishsii!"
Third person pov
Luffy pulls you closer to his body. You removed your arms from around your boyfriend and held onto his red shirt. As you looked closer, you noticed that Luffy's shirt was actually buttoned up for a change.
"Huh? Why's your shirt buttoned?" You question.
Luffy huffs, "Nami told me to button it up because it was indeakent."
"Inde... Oh indecent," you blinked with surprise, "She's never had a problem with it until now... Strange."
"Nami is so weird! Shiishishsii!" Luffy's shoulders bounce as he laughs.
You furrow your brows. Letting go of his shirt, you begin to unbutton his shirt.
"Oh, what are you doing?" Luffy looks down and watches as you unbotton his shirt.
Once you were finsihed unbuttoning it, you ran your hands gently across his chest.
"U-uh..." You look up and see Luffy nuzzling his face in your h/c hair. His ears are bright red.
"Ah, sorry... I just prefer seeing-" you get cut off by other voices.
"M/NNNNN, WE ARE BACK, BUT WE LOST LUFFY!" It was Usopp's voice.
"M/n?" Franky calls out.
"Maybe he's asleep somewhere." Nami assumes.
There was shuffling around the ship, looking for you. The door to the boys room opens and reveals Zoro.
"Ah-"
"Zoro." Luffy looks up and stares.
"Okay." Zoro shrugs. He walks out of the room to tell the others.
Luffy looks down at you and sighs. "I feel sleepy, N/n."
You look up and give him a quick peck, "Then we can sleep."
"You won't leave right? It will get too cold without you!" Luffy pouts.
You giggle, "No I wont leave. I'll never leave!"
"That's a promise."
"It is a promise."
Luffy gives you a passionate kiss before closing his eyes to rest. You scoot closer to his body and press your forehead against his chest to let him know you were still there. Closing your eyes, you fell asleep in the arms of your lover.
