I watch as we all enter a small room that looks like where a pilot would sit. Nat looks around when she watches Lance get into the seat.
"Where do you think this is from?" Lance asks
"Who knows. But it seems like they didn't want us to find it." I say
"The shield fell when we got here." Lance points out
"Let's just be careful," Nat says
Everybody agrees with her when the Lion roars and shoots forward as Lance just looks around. I grunt as the Lion almost launches me into the seat.
"Oh, you scared?" Lance asks
"With you at the helm? Terrified." I reply
"Alright knock it off," Shiro says, looking at both of them
"Alright fine, but how do I fly this thing?" Lance says
"You're the one who stayed as a pilot at the Garrison." Nat says "Shouldn't you know how to fly the ships?"
"This isn't like anything we have ever learned how to fly." Lance almost yells
Nat shakes her head as she looks around and tries to read the controls.
"They're in a completely different language." She says
I hear the others as they look outside and see us heading towards space.
"Let's see where this thing is taking us then," Shiro says
"That looks like our only option you would think," I say
"Guys, just find something to hold onto as we are reaching full speed," Nat says as she is looking at the speed
I look at her then grab her wrist and have her grab something next to us.
"What do you think you're doing?" She hisses
"What you told me to do," I say
She glares at me then shakes her head as we look out and see a circular thing with blue and purple in the middle.
"It's taking us through that wormhole type thing," Pidge yells
Nat pulls away from me than steps next to Lance's seat and starts to mess with the controls.
"It looks like the lion is going to a Castle of Lions?" She says
"Wait, you can read that?" Lance asks
"It comes really naturally to me." She says "I don't know why."
Everybody looks at her then shakes their head as we go through the wormhole. When we appear on the other side, we see a planet full of green grass with a white and blue castle right in the middle.
"W-where are we?" Hunk asks
"Honestly, I have no clue," Lance says
Nat looks back at me as she stands up and brushes off her shoulders as she see the lion open its mouth again and starts to walk out. We all follow behind her as she looks around as she walks towards the castle.
We all follow her into the castle and she looks around as she stops to read certain things.
"We are obviously not on Earth." I start "So how are you understanding all of this?"
"I-I don't know." She says with a small laugh
Shiro walks up to her and sets his hand on her shoulder as he looks around.
"Is there anybody here?" Pidge asks as he looks around
"I don't know," Lance says
We all walk towards the center of the castle and we see two pods sitting there.
"What do you think is in there?" Hunk asks
"I guess we might just have to find out," Natasha says as she walks to the center and tries to see if she can get it working
I hear a hiss from one of the pods and a figure falls out of it.
"What the?!" I say as I jump back
"W-who are you guys?" A female voice asks
"Who are you?" Lance says
The girl stands up, brushing off her dress as she looks at all of us.
"I'm Princess Allura of Altea." She says
"We're all from Earth." Nat says as she looks at the other girl "I think one of your ships brought us here to find you."
"How is this not surprising you?" Lance asks as he turns towards Nat
"My brother has come back from the dead. Nothing really shocks me anymore." She says with a smirk "And I can somehow read this writing."
"Wait, you guys are not Altean..." Allura says
"No. We're humans Princess," Shiro says
"What ship brought you here?" She asks
"One that looks like a blue lion," Lance says
"Voltron..." She starts
I watch as Shiro looks at her as his eyes go wide and he winces, grabbing his head.
"Shiro, you okay?" Nat asks
"Just another flashback." He explains "I remember hearing about Voltron wherever I was being held, prisoner."
I watch as Pidge, Hunk, and Lance all look at each other then quickly at the ground.
Nat looks at her brother as she slowly nods her head when the other pod releases a bunch of air and another body comes stumbling out.
"Coran!" Allura says
"Princess, how long have we been asleep?" The guy asks
The princess walks over to where Pidge and Nat are standing as they move out of her way.
"We've been asleep for 10,000 years." She says
"What about Altea?" Coran asks
"I-it's been destroyed by the Galra." She says
"Your father knew this was going to happen. That's why he sent the Lions away along with us." He says
"Will somebody tell us what is going on?" I ask
"You guys have found one of the five Lions that are part of the weapon called Voltron," Allura says
"There are five?" Hunk asks
"Yes. And I believe that you guys are meant to be their Paladins." She says as she looks over at us then frowns as she looks over Natasha
"There are six of us," Pidge says
"So I see..." Allura says
"There are technically six Lions." Coran starts
"But they only need five for Voltron. The original five if we have any chance at defeating Zarkon." Allura says as she looks back at the Coran dude
I look over at the others as they all share the same expression.
"What is going on?" I ask
"More than Earth has been able to figure out. There has been a war going on for 10,000 years. Emperor Zarkon has been reigning terror on the universe." Allura explains
"And we believe that you guys can help us stop that," Coran says as he forces a smile
"Okay, but how are we supposed to know which of these Lions are the ones that form Voltron?" Shiro asks
"You guys have already found the Blue Lion. And it has already picked its Paladin." Allura says as she looks over at Lance
"Wait, Cargo Lance is supposed to pilot that big of a weapon? He was barely able to handle flight school down at Earth..." Nat starts
"Shut up Tashie, you're just jealous that it didn't pick you," Lance says
"I could care less if I pilot a Lion." She says, rolling her eyes "I just know what you are capable of."
"Enough you two, let the Princess finish explaining about the Lions," Shiro says
"We also have the Yellow Lion, its slower but it has its armor make up for the speed. Then the Green Lion, it is the most technical one, it has always been the thinker of the team." Allura says as she looks between Hunk and Pidge "Hunk, you seem to be the one for the Yellow Lion. Pidge, you are the one for the Green Lion."
"What about the other two parts of Voltron?" Lance asks
"Lance, shut up!" Nat hisses
"The Black Lion is the leader of the entire group." She starts as she looks at Shiro "Shiro, that would be you who pilots the Black Lion."
She looks at both Nat and me as she then looks back outside.
"The Red Lion is the only other one that is left to form Voltron." She starts "The Red Lion has always been the loner of the five. You have to earn the respect of this Lion."
"Let me guess, Natasha is the one who is going to pilot the Red Lion," Lance says
"Lance, do you ever shut up?" Natasha says as she glares over at Lance
"Actually, Keith will be the one to pilot the Red Lion." Allura says "But Natasha, I feel like you would as well be able to pilot either the Black Lion or the Red Lion, but you wouldn't be able to bond with them as deeply."
I look over at Nat as she just shrugs.
"Where are the other Lions?" She asks
"The Yellow and Green Lion are on two peaceful planets that aren't far from here." Coran starts "The Black one right below us in the Castle of Lions."
"And the red?" I ask
"The Galra have it," Allura says
"We'll have to split up and get the other Lions in order to get the Red Lion," Coran says
"Hunk and I can go get the Yellow Lion," Lance says
"Then Pidge and I can go get the Green Lion if you guys have another smaller ship here," Shiro says
"If you guys have information on where these Galra are keeping the Red Lion, Keith and I can try to come up with a plan to extract the Red Lion," Nat says
Everybody agrees as we head our separate ways. Lance and Hunk head towards the Blue Lion again with the help of Allura to get the coordinates for the planet ready. Coran, Pidge, and Shiro head towards the smaller ships, going to hurry and get the Green Lion.
Nat and I stay in the command center as she walks to the window and looks outside.
"Are you okay?" I ask
"Huh? Yeah, I'm fine." She says
I look at her as she looks back at me with a smile.
"You want to know what I want to know?" She starts
"What would that be this time?" I ask
"What they meant by the sixth lion." She says
"Maybe Coran can tell us while the others are away," I say with a knowing look
She nods her head as she looks back towards the outside area of this planet.
