➷ Third Person
The squinty eyed guy cursed as he groan in slight pain, he immediately push the heavy weight off him.
"What on earth happened?" jihoon ask in annoyance, dusting off his pants.
Yedam sighed and look up to the ceiling. "Its a freaking trap and now we're here. We need to escape before the timer is over or else we'll stay here for an hour and wait for the doors to automatically unlock."
"Can we just stay here and wait for the doors to open?" the younger of the four ask, yedam chuckles and run his fingers to the younger's silky hair.
"Babe thats boring, lets take the challenge. Get up and we'll find some clues." yedam stated, encouraging the younger. Doyoung just nodded and smiled.
They roamed around the room, it was completely different from the main room. The new room looks like a haunted classroom though not much of a difference like the usual, it has codes and locks to solve- a definite source of headache. The four guys started finding clues and through taking everything seriously with their main goal of escaping and getting a chance to have a free buffet to a fine-dining restaurant they manage to unlock 4 locks, just one more to go. The codes contains combination of numbers, the one under the secret storage is unlock with a calculation of weighted average of some random report card hidden under a place mat which yoonbin happen to find out. The other one is a rambled pattern of -north-south-east-west that they happen to analyze through the schedules of fieldtrips recorded at the 2ft tall files.
After a few minutes of searching for the last clue to unlock the main door they found some clues at the blackboard. Math formulas and some periodic table elements are written on the board, the main door has two locks ; a padlock and digital codelock.
"It was a dark and stormy night, thunders and lightnings ruled the heavens. A continous drops of the heavy rain poured down at the roof, classes are suspended but none among the class are allowed to go home. Not until the storm stops." jihoon reads out loud the story written on the board.
Yoonbin claeared his throat before he continued reading where jihoon stops. "A natural disaster, claimed by the authorities. No, someone fabricated everything. Listen to our voices, justice is what we need. We did not die because of the disaster, Helieum, Phosphorus, Oxygen, Iodine, Sulfur, Oxygen,Nitrogen, Uranium, Sulfur. Wait, what?"
A look of confusion evident on their faces. "Its a story paragraph then it turned into a list of periodic elements at the end. This is so confusing!" doyoung commented, kicking the wooden chair infront of him.
Yedam, despite being stress to the escape room, manage to smile at the cute sight of his guy. "Dobby, loosen up. We will get out of here okay?"
The younger pouted but nod his head. Jihoon eyed the impatient youngest and smiled. "He's so cute." he commented, yoonbin turned to look at where jihoon's gaze are resting.
"You're cuter." yoonbin stated with a sly grin. The prankster look up to him with a proud and annoying smile.
"Ofcourse i am, no one beats the cuteness that runs in my blood." jihoon replied, yedam rolled his eyes as he watch his cousins.
"Poison." doyoung whispered, the three look at him in confusion.
"What are you talking about sweetie?" the foxy eyed ask, caressing the younger's fluffy cheeks.
Doyoung smiled wider and beamed in excitement. "I GET IT! ITS A POISON!" he exclaimed. The younger among the three point his fingers at the elements.
"Look hyung, when you put together the elements by their letter representation only it will form into "He poison us", the victims are saying that the professor poisoned them! It wasn't cause by the disaster, it was intentional, look! Helieum is the first element mentioned, when you make it short Helium is HE next is (P) hosphorus, (O) xygen, (I) odine, (S)ulfur, (O)xygen,(N)itrogen, (U)ranium, (S)ulfur. See? Do you guys get it?!" doyoung beamed in excitement as he jump like a kid while explaining his conclusion.
The three look at him in amusement. "Yah, doyoungie you are such a genius! I didn't notice that!" jihoon stated, hugging the younger and showering him with compliments.
"Right, you're a genius but how can we use that as a key to escape?" yoonbin ask, doyoung paused for awhile and pouted. He didn't know either. Yedam pat his shoulder and smiled.
"Its okay babe, atleast you found some clue. I think the hidden code has something to do with the digital lock. We just have to find out what it is. Still, you did a good job, you deserve a prize." the smiling yedam explained before he plant soft kisses on doyoung's face, the younger giggled at the affection.
"What did i do to witness this? Stop disrespecting the single community." jihoon remark but the couple ignored him. Yoonbin chuckles and leaned back at the wall.
"Single? Wait, what happened between you and seunghun-hyung?" ask the squinty eyed, jihoon sighed and let out a small laugh.
"Still bestfriends, still has no progress. I don't think he likes me in a romantic way." the prankster explained, yoonbin shrug his shoulder.
"I don't think so, seunghun-hyung have something special towards you. I'm certain."
Jihoon throw a look of hesitation, he don't believe it. If seunghun does then they should be dating by now, thats what he thinks. "What about you and yeongue?"
The usual laid back yoonbin flush in mix awkwardness and embarrassment. "W-what do you mean? I don't have a thing for him!" he defended, jihoon smirked at the unusual sight.
"Really huh?"
"Whats the most dangerous and poisonous periodic element by the way?" yedam interrupted, getting the attention of the two.
Yoonbin flash a bored look at the couple. "Oh, done kissing?"
The youngest inside the room become flustered and lightly cover his face, earning a cute chuckle from yedam. Jihoon rolled his eyes once again.
"Oh please, spare me. Stop the flirting and lets get out of here we only have 15 minutes before the timer ends."
With that, they started to become serious again. They discussed about periodic elements and possible poison that is use to poison the students based on the story written on the board. Yedam concluded that maybe the poison use to kill the students belongs to the periodic elements. After a few more small discussions they tried typing names of poisoneous elements, they tried for the 4th time but none of their guesses came true. Suddenly, yoonbin furrow his brows towards the huge planet model hung on the ceiling. It was the dwarf planet- pluto.
"Is there some kind of element related to that planet?" doyoung ask in full curiosity, jihoon widen his eyes in realization. He suddenly remembered something.
"Plutonium or PU, the most dangerous element! It has an atomic number of 94, it also occurs radionuclides Pu thay gives off alpha, beta, and gamma radiation. I have read before that inhalation is the most harmful route of plutonium exposure and one chemist found out that 500 grams of plutonium gas released in the air can kill 2 million people. Oh goodness im such a genius thats it, try typing PU or plutonium." yedam immediately type the word to the digital lock. They hold their breaths for a second while waiting for the response.
A creeking sound of the opening door rejoice to their ears. The guys cheered in excitement upon the bright lights, a staff welcomed them out and handed the buffet coupon as he congratulated the four guys who just escaped the room. They do a group hug and thanked each other.
"Ji, you're a true genius. I'm impressed to know you still have braincells left." yoonbin commented, jihoon stared at him offended and smack his head earning a bunch of laughters from the couple.
"By the way, you can proceed at the restaurant if you want. Your friends are still inside the room." the staff announced making the guys who already escaped stop in rejoicing.
"What?!" the three exclaimed in unison.
Yedam shake his head lightly. "Yah, why are you guys even shock? What do you expect from junkyu and haruto?"
"Right, they are dumb and dumber." yoonbin added. Jihoon and doyoung shake their head in pity for the guys upstairs. Somehow it was a blessing in disguise that they fell to the trap with yedam and yoonbin.
Meanwhile the guys upstairs.
"I swear its a code!"
"You're so loud, my ears hurt! Just shut up will you?"
"Because you're not listening mashi, you're getting annoying! You deserve a punishment, let me kiss you!"
"What?!"
Haruto sighed for the fifth time, he can't imagine he's stuck with the problematic couple and with the guy who keeps avoiding him.
"Yah Park Jeongwoo." he called out but jeongwoo ignored him and continued analyzing the clues.
The japanese cursed in annoyance, he has no choice but to approach the korean. Jeongwoo is about to get away when haruto lightly push him and pinned him to the wall, trapping him under. "Stop.avoiding.me." he stated word by word using his low voice. Jeongwoo tried to avoid his gaze but haruto is quick, he used a finger to lift up jeongwoo's chin.
"I-im n-not avoiding you!" the korean stuttered, haruto sighed and slammed his hands at the wall beside jeongwoo.
"Damn it." haruto muttered. Jeongwoo look down at his feet as he munch his lips in nervousness.
The japanese released heavy breaths making jeongwoo gulped. He clearly felt and smelled the hot breath kissing his face. They are dangerously close to each other with their faces only a few inches apart. Jeongwoo knows that the older is furious but he tried to held back himself, they talked about it before— haruto should refrain from snapping and getting angry for small and petty reasons. If there is one thing haruto hates the most, it is the feeling of rejection and being ignored. He felt rejected whenever he got ignored and jeongwoo can't even count on his fingers how many times he avoided the older. Still, jeongwoo is surprised that haruto still manage to hold back himself though it was evident on his eyes that he's annoyed and irritated.
The tan-skinned korean pursued his lips and gather confidence to look straight in haruto's furious eyes. "I'm sorry haru, please don't get mad at me." jeongwoo whispered, bitting his lower lip in nervousness.
Like a magic word casted to break an evil spell, the japanese' gaze soften when he saw the slightly scared eyes of the younger. Haruto automatically removed his arms that traps the younger a few seconds ago, he let it rest on jeongwoo's shoulder instead. The japanese sighed and close his eyes, it was obvious that he's composing himself. Soon, haruto opened his eyes and stared directly to jeongwoo.
"Alright, im not mad. Just, just stop avoiding me. I don't like the feeling of it." the japanese admitted, jeongwoo rested his head on the older's chest. He felt comfortable when haruto runs his fingers on his hair, ruffling it slowly like the younger is some fragile thing that needs to be protected.
The calming scent of the japanese never failed to make jeongwoo smile, it has always been the same. The refreshing scent of cucumber and citrus made him leaned more to the warm embrace. Haruto gave the best hugs. The younger thought as he played with the buttons of the japanese' striped polo.
"Jeongwoo." the japanese called out, his voice is soft and gentle. Far from his furious eyes earlier. Jeongwoo hummed and look up to the older. He was welcomed by a small smile but jeongwoo smiled widely in return.
Haruto leaned in to claim his lips, jeongwoo let the older without complaints and hesitation. It was slow, sweet, calming, comforting, and gentle. Jeongwoo always feel special when haruto kisses him, its the most magical feeling. Not the flirtatious and rough type, its the other way around. As if haruto kisses him with so much respect and passion, he's not sure if it was love but it feels passionate. Its peaceful and soothing, somehow goes along like a paradise of feelings and a war zone of reality.
The japanese pulled away slowly when he felt a tapping hand on his arms. "What?!" he exclaimed in irritation, the small japanese just interrupted their moment. Jeongwoo look at the other way when he saw junkyu's teasing stares.
Mashiho rolled his eyes at the tall japanese. "Stop kissing, we need to get out of here. I forgot what does CR mean." he explained and point his fingers at the white board full of periodic elements.
"Comfort Room!" junkyu beamed in excitement, mashiho rolled his eyes as if wanting to disown his fiancè.
Haruto stared annoyed at the two. "Its chromium hyung, you freaking interrupted our moment for a worthless code. Screw it, lets die together here!" he scoffed, mashiho is about to nag the younger but haruto immediately leaned in to kiss jeongwoo for the second time.
"Damn it, did you really have to do it infront of my face?!"
The tall japanese ignored the older, he smiled through the kiss when he felt that jeongwoo is embarassed. After a few more gentle contact, they both gasp for air along with the loud buzz— a sign that the timer ends, they're stuck in the room for another hour. A punishment for not being able to solve the codes and unlock the locks. Haruto grinned at the younger under his embrace.
"Your lips is so addicting, good thing we still have an hour."

Note : As i promised, heres the part 2. I was really busy with my work earlier but since i already drop my words that i'll publish the part 2 tonight then here it is. I wrote this for like 4 hours straight asdfghjkl so im really sorry for the grammatical errors, it is a rush chapter but i swear i did my best.
