Ellie looked at her phone. More specifically, at her "to do task."
Task number 4: Wait in the middle of the road for 24hours. You can't move. Not at any cost.
She sighed, roughly scraping her brunette hair onto a bun. She wasn't dumb. That task was basically screaming at her to die. Like, wait in the middle of the road and not die? As if.
Then again, this was what she signed up for. She knew the consequences. She wanted to do this.
Ellie got up from her bed and sat over at her vanity. She looked at her reflection. She had big bags under her eyes, her once clear blue eyes were now dull, lifeless. She slowly brought up her forearm. Her pale skin with tainted red. Various cut marks and bruises littered her skin.
She lightly ran her fingers over the corner of her mouth, slightly wincing. It was the most recent cut she did, using a sharp razor. No one cares, anyways. That's what she always tells herself.
Rubbing her eyes, she opened the top drawer and pulled out her makeup kit. The last time she used it was two years ago. Things were different back then. She wasn't bullied at school because of her fat weight, she wasn't falling behind in her studies because school depressed her, she wasn't being absused at home because of her grades falling, she wasn't the worthless, useless, fat bitch she is now.
She started applying makeup. What was it called again? Oh yeah.
If I die, I'll die pretty.
After doing her makeup, she looked back at her reflection. She looked different. Like the Ellie from two years ago. She smiled a bit— a genuine smile. One that she hadn't shown in over two years.
She retreated back to her bed and began writing a note.
"Whatever that is about to happen, is not anyone's fault, but me. I wish I wasn't so stupid. I wish I wasn't so fat. I wish I could actually live up to your expectations. I wish I could go back to being the Ellie from two years ago. I wish I could change everything.
Remember, whatever is going to happen, is for the best. I love you all."
She smiled, her tears falling and drenching the paper. Finally, she scribbled down a line of her favorite song.
"If I die, bury me in satin. Lay me down on a bed of roses.
Love,
Ellie."
Leaving the note on her desk, Ellie left.
She'll never come back.

After sitting on the middle of the road for about two hours, Ellie saw a truck coming her way. She didn't budge.
By the time the truck driver noticed, it was too late. He couldn't stop the brakes.
Ellie was gone forever. She had already surrended years ago, but now she finally got to rest in peace. Her blue eyes were shut tight, the corners crinking with mirth, her brunette hair coming out of her bun and flowing around her in a pool of dirt and blood. Her pink mouth set in the cutest smile ever.
She wanted to die pretty.
And that's what she did.

OKAAAYY
LET ME EXPLAIN
I had no idea to make it this angsty, I swear. But I couldn't stop and this is what you get.
Ehhh, I personally feel that kids are too pressured these days because of grades, and that's why most of us are depressed. Not that anyone can do anything about it. That's just how society is.
Anyways. For the three people:
Welcome to hell. uwu
K bai have fun
ADIEU!
